From the moment you enter Grand Tan Club & Skin Spa, you will notice a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Dimmed lights and an array of candles set the mood. Have a cup of tea and take your time looking over the hair removal or massage services available to choose from. Grand Tan Club & Skin Spa has a brilliant staff and we're proud to say that customer service is our specialty! Open since 2007 on eclectic Grand Avenue, Grand Tan Club is a brand new concept; a non-franchised, family run spa where you can have fun as you pamper yourself. Better yet it is priced to beat all other competitors. How about a free tan for walking in the door? Grand Tan Club offers a full range of tanning beds from low pressure to high pressure along with a full line of spa services and products. Ten percent discounts for students showing an ID.
Have been a customer of Grand Tan Club since it has opened, only live a half a block away, but the way the owner just treated me, I am done. Rude and unprofessional is all that can be said. If you change a rule that is fine, but don't be rude about it, and blame it on your employees who you should have trained. Maybe the daughter should speak with the mother on how to have manners. Very rude and unprofessional. I will now be a fan of izzy's ice cream as well, as the same family owns the Creamery also. Don't go.
Pros: non
Cons: the owner

Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and never hound you to buy things you don't want! Very reasonable prices; no ridiculous activation or cancellation fees on any of their tanning packages! I love their Versa Spa spray tan, it doesn't leave you streaky and orange like the Mystic Tan!

Some one needs to open this place back up soon! I don't know how much longer I can take it with out there ice cream?
Pros: The best ice cream ever!
Cons: closed

The ice cream is so good, and the flavors are really unique. I love coffee break ice cream (it's like cookies'n cream, only in coffee flavored ice cream yum!) They have very good ice cream cakes and pies, those pies are amazing. I highly recommend but realize that if you go between between 5-9 on a warm evening you will be waiting in a line. They stay open late too!
Pros: Wonderful Ice Cream and other forzen treats, they sell ice cream for your dog too! good location

the lines aren't worth it. i mean, it's good, but all ice cream is good, no? most of those in line are high schoolers whose friends work behind the counter and make a habit of giving out free goods. yep, free ice cream, one of the perks of attending St. Paul Central High School.
Pros: ice cream
Cons: lines

The best ice cream I've ever had. I love the atmosphere, and the staff is great. I think my favorite part is the malt ball at the bottom!

I am eating out of a pint of my favorite flavor from Grand Ole Creamery, Lemon Cheesecake. This is got to be absolutely the best ice cream I have ever had! Fortunately for me, there is now a Grand Ole Creamery location in Hastings, conveniently a few blocks from my house. Each time I have been to the store, the staff has been more than helpful and very friendly. I will continue to go back many times!

A family Tradition. Its worth the wait in line. Great place to people watch, while waiting for your favorite flavor. Which they have many to choose from. My Fave is none other than CHOCOLATE. Just ask Heidi.

I only wish there were more places around that operate like The Grand Ole Creamery. This place strives to put our the best ice cream, ever. Why can more places realize that if they make something and make it good people will come. The creamery is better than coldstone because of the cool summertime atmosphere, not modern bussiness coldstone. The Creamery is also better than Izzy's, nut by much but just because they have more flavors and a larger establishment and seating.
Pros: ICE CREAM, Atmosphere, ICE CREAM
Cons: line get long, sometimes, but, still moves fast

After all of the great reviews I had heard, I was exicited to finally taste for myself the treats at the Grand Ole Creamery. My boyfriend and I each got our own cones (chocolate chip for me, s'mores for him) and dug in. Unfortunately neither of us was impressed. The ice-cream had a grainy texture and no more flavor than a grocery store brand. There was nothing rich or creamy about either scoops. The staff was subdued and seemed unhappy to be there. The most disapointing part was when we finally got to the end of our cones neither of us had the malted milk ball that we had heard so much about. I can't figure out why so many people rave about this place. It may be a quaint little store but that doesn't sell ice-cream.

I LOVE ICE CREAM! The Grand Ole Creamery is the best i've ever had! Gotta have the choc chip cookie dough and trust me all other cookie dough brands suffer in comparison! Used to live in the twin city area it was a frequent visit for me but miss it greatly. Can they ship me some? A definate stop when in the twin city area even if i have to go out of my way. Wish i could get some here.
Pros: the best , addictive , moneys worth
Cons: none

Grand Ole Creamerys ice cream is second to none. The wide vrieties of flavors, combined with the great atmosphere make this place a must. Never do I settle for anything less than a double of their wonderful birthday cake mixed with another flavor from their wide variety. So good you will even go when the temperature and wind chill drops to -30.
Pros: Taste, Atmosphere, Variety

This place smells so good! They make their own cones! You can take a date, have a celebration, get a reward, go with your family, even meet for business (you will get more points for ice cream than coffee!). Their ice cream cakes have become the standard in our family. We have taken kids and adults there. No one is diappointed. The staff is on top of things, friendly and courteous. The line moves very quickly. Not expensive and huge portions. My favorites are Coffee Break- coffee ice cream with crushed oreos and Lemon Italian Ice- non dairy thats not too sweet. They have all the old favorites along with new ones to try. Yum. Go there. You will go back even in the winter!
Pros: Homemade ice cream, Comfortable place, Friendly staff

The Grand Ole Creamery is the only ice cream in the city that I will eat. I am an ice cream fanatic and there isn't a place that I have tired that is even close. The ice cream is second to none. The staff is very helpful and quick. There is usually a line, but it moves so fast that it doesn't seem like you are waiting at all. I was told to try Cold Stone Creamery, but it doesn't even compare. There is nothing like a Grand Ole Creamery cone on a hot day! The best part is that you can get an ice cream and then walk down Grand Ave and enjoy.
Pros: Fun, Quick, Delicious

I've been to the Grand Ole Creamery with my aunt multiple times. Many other members of my family have been there as well. We love the service and the ice cream!

Awesome, the best, richest and most flavorful creamy ice cream.

the ice cream is always great and worth the wait!!!

Pros: cheese cake ice cream
Cons: not chunky like ben &, jerrys

Ok...No one told me there were TWO entrances to the building...and TWO sections serving different selections. It was kind of old...dingy looking and a bit unkept. The ice cream was creamy and nice, but it should be on the bottom of the top 5 list. I'd still rank it high, but it's not all that wonderful.
Pros: creamy
Cons: dirty, awkward space

The best place to bring the family for a treat
Pros: great ice-cream
Cons: place is to small

If you can handle standing in line on a hot summer day you will be rewarded with the best ice cream!
Pros: Good selection
Cons: Crowded

I am a huge ice cream lover and the portion sizes are amazing! The line may always seem long but they have an express lane that only takes a few minutes.
Posted 07/22/02
The best ice cream ive ever had! Im now addicted to their award winning black hills gold ice cream creation. The service was fast and friendly. The waffle cones were fresh and the whopper malt ball was a great surprise. THE BEST!!!!!
[{!!!!!!! 10+!!!!!!!!!}]
Pros: Fast service, Great ice cream, Many flavors
Cons: none, none, none

The Grand Ole Creamery has always been the best in town and I would drive many miles to taste thier creamy treats. Unfortunately for them but fortunately for me, Cold Stone Creamery arrived in Maple Grove. Cold Stone does have a creamier taste as well as an astonomical number of ice cream choices limited only by your imagination.
Pros: Great ice cream, good employees
Cons: store is dirty
