Miller's Ale House

BEWARE!!!! I lived in Orlando Florida for some time and Ale Houses are abundant down there and are always wonderful! That is NOT the case for the Ale House located in Lombard Illinois. Food is decently priced and tastes good for a sports bar. However the service at this location is horrible! My husband and I went in for lunch and the place was nearly deserted...our waitress (Meghan K) had the worst attitude I have ever seen at a restaurant. From the time we ordered our drinks she was snippy. Then to make matters worse she got our food order wrong and when we asked her to correct it she became increasingly rude. She brought out the food replacements to us a short time later, but proceeded to throw both my salad and my husbands fries at each of us. And when I say throw I mean literally throw across the table spilling on to the table. She then went across the restaurant and began gossiping about us (we were informed of her comments to the other servers by another guest). Then when she thought we were at the end of our meal she proceeded to throw our check across the table sliding off and into my lap and in a snotty tone said I will be back in a minute to get that and proceeded to come back precisely one minute later and collect even though my husband and I had not even finished our meal. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

Food is typical frozen-and-fried bar stuff. Drinks are a little pricey too, if you don't like the special. Service was ok I guess. I guess if you and your buddies need a hang out you could enjoy the TV's and the pool and Golden Tee, but it's just like any other bar I've been to.

We really like Miller's as a place to go hang out with a group of friends. They have a good selection of ales and spirits, as well as food offerings that are a bit more up-scale than typical bar food. Good service and good food!

I really enjoy Miller's Ale House. They have a great atmosphere and lots of televisions guaranteed to have all the games on! The drink specials are great! We go and always get the Nachos Appetizer. It's huge--definitely a meal in itself. Make sure you ask them to layer the nachos!

Great sports bar with good service, food and prices! Very affordable drink specials. Their nutter butter pie is absolutely one of the best deserts I have ever had :)
