I stumbled into Wedding Bands & Co browsing the Mallers Building looking for engagement settings. I met one of the owners, Oscar, immediately and he provided excellent service helping me to understand the different types of settings, showing me many different diamonds. He patiently answered my seemingly infinite questions. I was ultimately sold when Oscar showed me their CAD based design process, which allowed me to completely customize our engagement ring.

If you are like me, and hesitant about making a large purchase, the level of service and the options offered for customizing your ring will calm your nerves.

I highly recommend Wedding Bands & Co. based on my experience. I will definitely be returning here to buy our wedding bands.

Koorosh was patient as I took my top picks in his boutique (I had dozens!) and narrowed them down to three (it was hard!). Later, he was patient and extremely helpful as my fiance picked out a center diamond. He got an amazing deal on a beautiful diamond, and I got a ring that will keep my smiling for the rest of my life.

I cannot say enough about the amazing selection here. Every ring is unique and won't come near anything you see in other shops. For those who are picky and want unique - this is the place.

We originally visited the store with the hopes of having an heirloom ring re-designed. After working with the gentlemen I left thinking my family ring was left in the most capable of hands. My fiancee had other ideas and purchased a custom ring which greatly surpassed all of my expectations. The ring is GORGEOUS, I can't believe he did so well (he was in the greatest of hands to teach him the ins and outs of jewelry design and purchase.)

I will be back to surprise my fiancee with a band for the ceremony and possibly my own wedding day jewelry!

Koorosh is the most talented jewelry designer I've met. My engagement ring is one of a kind and he designed my wedding band to match the uniqueness of my engagement ring. They are a perfect pair of rings and I've gotten many compliments on my engagement ring. I know once I start wearing the pair on October 23rd similar compliments will follow suit.

Koorosh and Oscar run a fabulous shop. I know I can call or stop in whenever. They clean my ring for me regularly and it's always nice to know I can count on them for any advice when it comes to the care for my rings.

I went here to find an engagement ring for my girlfriend and from the very beginning Koorosh and staff treated me with friendly service. I never felt like there was any pressure to buy and was given many different choices to pick from.

We knew I did not want a mall jeweler for our wedding bands for any number of reasons. During an internet search, we found Wedding Bands Co. Koorosh and his staff have an amazing set-up were your ring is custom designed and you know exactly what you will get through CAD drawing and wax models. I could have not asked for a better experience in shopping for rings. It is safe to say that when I look for my next gift for my new bride - the search will start with Wedding Bands Co (as they do sell more that just wedding bands)!!

I went here to get an engagement ring for my girlfriend - now my wife. Koorosh and Oscar simply do terrific work and what was great was that they worked with me over quite a few Saturdays to get the exact design I was looking for. I'm not aware of another place in Chicago that does the kind of personalized work they do here - but even if there was one, I'd point you to these guys. The ring is simply amazing and my girlfriend just loved it. We went back to Koorosh and Oscar for our wedding bands as well. They've been great about taking care of us; they really care about their customers here.

Funny story, by the way: my fiancee is from St. Louis and I had bought some stuff from a Tiffany's in St. Louis and liked the saleslady a lot. I looked at their engagement rings but they're all very cookie-cutter. The next time I saw her, I actually had the engagement ring on me in a box. I showed it to her and she was bowled over by the design and the diamond, and she said that there was no way Tiffany could compete with that since they don't do individual designs like Wedding Bands & Co. She loved the ring which made me feel even more confident that I made the right choice.

Koorosh and Oscar are great guys to go to if you've got a ring design in mind. I went to them with the idea to design a ring around a diamond earring and they were able to make it happen, accompanying it with a beautiful wide band exactly how I imagined it. My fiance (soon-to-be wife) constantly gets compliments on her engagement ring, allowing me to reap the "good job on the ring" praises. After going ot many jewelry stores in Chicago, I came to Wedding Bands & Co. They provided great service and had a great selection of diamonds. For the cut I was looking for, most places only had a few to choose from, but Wedding Bands had about 20 or more for me to look at. I found the perfect diamond and purchased an engagement ring from them. Since I have been back for our wedding bands and for my fiance's wedding gift. Everyone there could not be nicer and easier to work with. There is no pressure and they help you find what you are looking for. I would reccommend them to anyone, and have told many friends to go there already.

I went to 2 family friends for an engagement ring before coming to Wedding Bands. Without having any connection to these guys, I quickly felt more comfortable that I wasn't getting ripped off. They have the gemology reports, lazer engraving of the serial number, covered the expense of the band for free and resized it free of charge.

I did my homework on what I wanted and they had a multitude of options all with a better value than my family friends. After talking to some of my married buddies, I definitely got a good deal. My fiance loves the ring and refuses to take it off. I highly recommend them!

It is not an easy task to find a good jewelry store that provides good service and that you can trust. After visiting several stores in the Chicago land I discovered Wedding Bands Co. They were extremely helpful. I was confused about several things when it came to diamonds but they were able to explain all the important factors that I should take in consideration when purchasing a diamond. Oscar took his time answering my questions. Besides purchasing the engagement ring from them I felt like I really learned about diamonds and what exactly I was purchasing. I highly recommend them. My girlfriend loves her ring and I know I will be back for our wedding bands.

Koorosh and Oscar created the most beautiful pectoral cross and chain for our Vergers at St. James Episcopal Catherdal in Chicago. The care and thought that they put into the design was phenomenal. The design is deceptively simple and appropriate for wearing at the most formal or informal Cathedral services. We have made a gift of this cross to the Vergers' Ministry at the Cathedral, and we know that this cross will be worn with great pride by Cathdral Vergersfor many generations to come.

I bought an engagement ring from these guys after months of looking at diamonds. On our first trip there, Oscar showed us his whole shop, and gave us a tour of where they actually make the jewelry. What brought me back was how genuinely he and his partner Koorosh wanted to help me find what I wanted, whether I was spending $100 or $10,000. They spent a ton of time with me looking at diamonds, teaching me about them, and helping me pick out what I liked the most within my budget. I spent a lot of time just looking with them over the course of many, many trips, but I never felt rushed to make a decision. The best part was that, once I had found the diamond, they designed a setting from scratch for me, so I got to give my fiancee something that was completely unique. Koorosh is an incredibly talented designer and artist, and can make anything... I wanted something simple, which I described to him, and he sent me sketches which were spot on. The end result was awesome-

Karoosh made shopping fun! I went in with only the ideas of things I didn't like (all of the stock crapp from other stores!). We walked through the selecion of items in the showcases and then sat down and talked about what I liked and didn't like about each one. He was then able to narrow my interests to a few different designs. Next he did a couple of drawings to show me what the best parts of each design would look like when combined. He took my ideas, and my husbands pricing guidelines and made the most beautiful ring I could ever imagine!

I love looking through magazines or at other womens rings with my husband and seeing how much better my ring is! My entire family just loves it! I get so many complements.

The experience was amazing and the customer service superb.

On our most recent trip we saw a bracelet that would look absolutely perfect with my ring! Can't wait for an anniversary!

Like many Chicagoans, we began our engagement ring & wedding band search on Jewelers Row. At the time, we had a better idea of we DIDN'T want, which happened to be the traditional, popular interpretation of the 'engagement ring' (solitaire & band.) After walking in and out of more than a dozen 'cookie-cutter'-type stores, featuring designs (& customer service) that lacked inspiration & personality, we agreed we'd try ONE more place, then give up for the day.
Needless to say, that place was Wedding Bands & Co. We met Koorosh, who spent hours with my boyfriend and I, getting to know us & what is important in our relationship....not to pick out an existing ring for us but to design one from scratch! Being part of the artist's creative process was amazing; and everyday I look at my ring knowing it is one-of-a-kind and made just for me. Koorosh and Oscar, the jeweler and gemologist at this store, helped me pick an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I went to many jewelry stores before finding Wedding Bands & Co. (weddingbandscompany. com), and they were the best at taking my vague descriptions of what I wanted and matching them to the perfect ring. They offer a variety of unique styles, all of which they design themselves, buying the diamonds directly and making the rings on-site - so you can save money, too.

The best part of this process was working with Koorosh and Oscar. They are so friendly and accommodating, and when you buy the ring from them, it's like buying the company, too. They take care of the ring for the life of the ring - free resizing, cleaning and general care.

I took my fiancee back to the store to meet Koorosh and Oscar, and she loved them too. We plan on buying our wedding bands from them.

I found out about Koorosh and Oscar online. After reading glowing reviews about them and seeing their work on their website, I was eager to get started.

My experience began with Koorosh, who with my guidance, designed the perfect engagement ring. He started out by sketching everything, and then converted it to a 3D CAD file after I was satisfied. With the CAD program, he was able to email me simulated (and quite realistic) photographs of what the final ring would look like. After a few more revisions, we finalized on a design and I gave my approval for Oscar to get started making it.

After just a few weeks, Oscar presented me with the finished ring. Everything was custom-made using the finest materials and craftsmanship. Oscar and his team perfectly implemented the design that Koorosh and I came up with. The work was especially impressive given intricacy of the design.
My now-fiancee got the ring she's always wanted and I had an experience I'll never forget. Thanks Koorosh and Oscar!

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending the morning with Koorosh and his partner Oscar. We were searching for a new mounting for my wedding rings. I felt like we were visiting with Dr. Diamond. Koorosh is an artist and a counselor. His designs are exquisite. I've never seen such unique designs so beautifully and flawlessly executed. He patiently showed us at least 50 settings then knowingly quizzed us to help narrow the field. We felt that his primary concern was finding just the right ring for us, rather than trying to sell us something in his cases. He spent two hours with us and there was no pressure at all.

I genuinely regret that we were unable to find just the right ring because we were only in town for two days before returning to Europe. Koorosh was very accommodating and creative in proposing ideas for custom rings, but we needed a ring we could take with us. I have no doubt that given a little time, he would have made something grand for us.

Oscar Valencia provides excellent customer service! The greatest detail of his is that he and his staff listen to your needs and are extremely knowledgeable! My fiance is very picky! After visiting jewelry stores in Malls and spending hours shopping for rings online and along jewelers row in Chicago, Wedding Bands and Co. was the store that impressed me the most. I loved that they worked with me to create an engagement ring and a wedding band that was exactly what I was looking for, and they were very helpful in keeping everything within my budget. My girlfriend loves the ring! She was impressed by their willingness to sit down and customize the design of the rings. She and Karoosh designed the grooms band exactly what she knew I would like. After I proposed we went back to get her engagement ring re-sized and they had it resized in less than 45 minutes and it is seamless. Everyone in the store was friendly and made both of us feel like we were the most important customers in the store. In other Jewelry shops they were either high pressure salemen or they completely ignored us. Others were unwilling to work with us in our price range. We even took pictures of Oscar and Karoosh for our scrapebook. They and their staff made a special occasion even more special.
We also loved that because they are the designers, we did not have to pay retail prices! I also appriciated the fact they can alter and fix rings while you wait. No need to have a Mall jeweler send it in to get fixed and then wait weeks to have it returned.
If I had to do it over again, I would go back to Wedding Bands and Co.

My Fiancee proposed with just a solitaire and told me that he would go with me to find a ring to have it set it. The diamond had been in his grandma's enagement ring and each of his cousins got one! So the ring had to be just as special. I had an idea in my head of exactally what design that I would like for my wedding ring and went to a ton of stores. I saw in the showcase boxes in the Maller's Building that they were a custom jeweler, so I decided to take a look. They were able to make the exact ring that I had in my head! Highly recomened for those one-of-a-kind gals like me! We are planning to head there to buy a Wedding Band when it gets close to the date!!

I would highly recommend you to check this store out here in Chicago. I was absolutely pleased with the service that they provided me with.

I have to admit that I didn't know that people have the opportunity to create something from their ideas and create beautiful pieces of jewelry. They have a program that allows you to see how your ring will look in the end. It is really cool. Koorosh designed a ring based from ideas that I had thought about. He sketched something out and started to design the ring in his computer. He created a quick image of the design and e-mailed me more pictures. After I approved the design he and the wax model, I received a call letting me know that the ring was ready to be picked up. This only took about a week. When I saw the final product I was completely mesmerized by the beauty of the ring.

The most important thing is that the ring was exactly what I had envision.

I chose this company because they were knowlagable and most important of all they gave the opportunity to create my own unique engagement ring. They really listen to what you have to say and are more of a personal jeweler. They go beyond any expectations just to make sure that you are completely satisfied.

When I proposed a few weeks ago, not only did my fiancee say yes, but was so happy to find out that her ring was one of a kind becuase it's a unique piece that was born from my love to her.
