Great after a game when playing in central park. Good to see all of the sports memorabilia and great ice cream too. They are also great for kids birthday parties.

Just attended my nephews birthday party at Last Licks a few weeks ago and I was really impressed. The staff worked really well with the kids and all the kids seemed to have the BEST time. The store itself was truly great. We were able to hangout and watch the football games while the kids had the time of there life painting and playing games. I especially enjoyed seeing all the kids behind the counter scooping there own ice cream and making there own sundaes. What a great idea!!!! Look forward to recommending Last Licks to all my friend with young kids looking for a party place. Cant wait to be on the upper east side again and get some ice cream!!!

Okay.. so I just moved into the neighborhood and discovered this cute little ice cream/candy shop that caters to young sports fanatics. The decor is all sports oriented and this place even offers celebrity book and autograph signings weekly to bi-weekly. The ice cream is delicious, but I go for the frozen yogurt. Unfortunately, their frozen yogurt machine breaks every so often so I frequently have to go on a week or 2 froyo deprivation.... NOT FUN! The guys who work their are VERY NICE (DJ, Brandon, Steve, Brian)... but the girls who work there are pretty rude and not very accomodating. The WORST part about this place is the fact that they have a sign on the door saying they close at 10:30 when they have their lights off by 10 most of the time. It's very misleading and completely disappointing when me and my friends take the time to walk all the way over there and the workers are gone. I've said something about the time on the sign being different than the actual closing time and the worker replied and said "I close when I feel like it." That's no way to keep your regulars happy......... Overall, great atmosphere, nice people for the most part, yummy ice cream, good deals. (Buy one get one free, spin the wheel to win free cone, frequent buyer card... blahblah)
Pros: Great Froyo, Great atmosphere, Cool place for kids, YUMMY
Cons: Close whenever they want, froyo machine breaks frequently, inconsistent.....

I recently planned my 9 yr olds birthday hear after reading about it on citysearch. From the video games to ice cream the children had a lot of fun. They even have candy to make mixes of. I would definitely recommend this place for a hassle free experience for your childs next birthday party
