It's good, affordable and fun to pick up sushi off the boats. I usually get orders of the hamachi, spicy tuna hand roll(spicy how I like it), toro if they have any, and the sea bass which is steamed with a sweet sauce with shavings of bonito flakes.....all very good! All the other rolls are pretty standard.
Note: If you're bringing someone on their first visit to a sushi boat place... don't let them pick up the sushi off the boats with their chopstick... yes it happened and no I won't say who it was....=D

I've actually never really had sushi on the sushi boats only because I lack self-control. I honestly did not come out of the restaurant "full" from my lunch there, yet I had already run up a modest $20 tab. The cheapest sets start at 1.50 and top at about $5 (if I am correctly recalling.) Since I am not a sushi connoisseur. I can not comment so much on the quality of the sushi... i am more a spicy salmon kinda girl and not a sashimi fan. On whether I will come back, I will probably order your safer tonkatsu bento the next time.

I wonder how this place stays open. The sushi off the boat is pretty old tasting and everything has a slight fishy taste and smell. I would rather go to Kitaro's which is a lot better and just about 3 doors down.
