iSalon

I am so glad I found iSalon! It is such an an inviting, elegant, and modern space, and gorgeous Brenda does a wonderful job on my challenging, coarse salt and pepper hair. The prices are so reasonable that I keep telling Brenda that she should charge at least twice as much for a men's cut. Has Brenda invented some kind of super-secret scalp reflexology? Her shampooing technique is so at once relaxing and stimulative that it is actually difficult to force myself up out of the chair!

There is a lot of friendly creative chemistry at the salon due to Brenda's recruitment of several talented (and beautiful) topnotch stylists with whom she has worked for years. I have been at iSalon long enough to have observed each stylist at work, and I can attest that they are all great and you will get a great haircut no matter whom you select.

I highly recommend this salon!

First of all, everyone is so unbelievably friendly and they make you feel as if you've been invited into their living room. The atmosphere is totally relaxed and unpretentious. I go to Tracey who is amazing! It had been 3 weeks since my first visit with her at we are hair and she remembered everything that we had discussed - probably because she actually listens and engages you in conversation. When I got my hair cut I received so many compliments that I had to go back. I never know what to say when I walk into a salon and just mumble something about "you know whatever you think is best," and of course, I never get what I want. When I said that to Tracey she asked questions to discover what was important to me, and then gave me her recommendations.

iSalon is gorgeous, it was busy and had great energy. The staff is so nice and really friendly! My appointment was with sandra and she was extremely attentive to my questions and ideas. she is very knowledgeable and well versed in hair techniques and color. I let she work with my ideas and cut my hair as he saw fit, and it came out perfectly!!! I feel like I have always had so so haircuts at other salons in oakland when my haircut was finished. I can definitely say I am the newest fan and have already scheduled my next appointment with sandra. she truly is amazing!

I love this place! Everyone is so friendly not snooty like a lot of upscale salon employees. LOVED my haircut from Tracey. She was awesome took time before She cut to talk about my hair with me, and really listened to what I had to say. She even took time to show me some styling techniques that were pretty cool to learn about . She is the only colorist I've ever been to that understands exactly what I want to do with my color and I've been to a lot of salons.

Anyway, my cut was great. I have had a series of terrible haircuts, and did my research before going to Tracey. She gave me exactly what I asked for, and added some really nice shape to my cut. No one has been able to give me the sweepy bangs I have wanted, but Tracey did it perfectly.

Normally when I go in for a haircut, I pretend to like it, and then go home and restyle it myself. But today, I loved it even more every time I looked in the mirror.

I'll definitely be going back. Excellent!

This salon is BEAUTIFUL you would not expect a place like this in Alameda! After switching from one hair salon to the other, trying to find one which would meet my expectations. A friend of mine told me about Brenda. I made the appointment with her I was delighted with the hair cut she gave me! I got so many compliments YEAH!

Also the prices are very reasonable compared to other salons in the area with free WIFI, Drink, Meter Service isalon is highly recommend!
