He is brilliant, outstanding. He saved our son's intestines after ingesting magnets. He was skillful, thoughtful, insightful, funny and kind. A new kind of surgeon to be sure. I'd recommend him to anyone.
5Dr. Sanjay is just a joy and the bright light at the end of the tunnel thru worried times. My daughter was born with ccam. Altho she has not had her surgery yet or if ever, we continue to trust his work, follow ups with him and he makes us feel comforted. If we were to have surgery, we would feel more at ease with him performing it.

Dr. "Jay" is a brilliant pediatric surgeon. He has performed surgery on our daughter twice to fix a potentially fatal condition (CDH). There is no doubt that he is an expert in his field but he also excels at patient care and bedside manner. He was always open to all of our questions and did a wonderful job explaining things to us.

I cannot say enough good things about "Dr Jay". My daughter was born 6 weeks early with previously undiagnosed Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (a potentially fatal condition). Dr Krishnaswami performed the surgery and oversaw her follow up care during her 5 1/2 weeks in the NICU at Emanuel Hospital.
He is an incredible pediatric surgeon. He's GREAT at explaining things to parents who are already overwhelmed with the situation. He works endless hours. A few nights before her surgery he came by the NICU at about 9:00pm to answer a question that we had just briefly mentioned to one of the nurses. He wanted to make sure that our question got answered before we went home that night.
He is extemely talented and very, very knowledgeable about a very specialized field of medicine. His Nurse Practitioner, Julie, is wonderful too! I trusted him with my baby's life and would not hesitate to refer anyone to him.
