Ratings_icons Love what it has to offer!

I grew up in Green Hills. That building has history. I once hung out at Gameland and I love what they have done to the old BoxSeat. Now that I am older, I am glad to see that they have taken the place that I have so many memories of and made the atmosphere conducive to me and now, my family needs. I love that I can still enjoy a great ballgame, bring my family in for a dinner that has a menu above the options at other Green Hills eateries. I find that they have great happy hours, daily lunch specials and meets the needs of all age groups, business groups, and celebration crowds. I am glad to see a new generation make its way to the location to have memories as well. They do a great job of accomidating many needs. The smoking at outside location has been a nonissue for me and my guests. Fans and open air allows a great experience for everyone. They have sold me!

Pros: Great Menu, Great Atmosphere, TV's, Great Decks

Cons: Drawbacks are not apparent.

Ratings_icons Always a great time!

I've been to Crows Nest a number of times since it opened on very different occasions. I'm a huge sports fan and it's the best place in town, in my opinion, to go watch the game! The 20 some odd HD tv's make it easy to catch your game from almost any spot in the restaurant. I quickly learned after my first visit during the NFL season to show up early if it's a big day in sports, but that's alright with me! I can see why it's so busy on game days. It's always a great time though. Even with all the hustle and bustle, the service staff has always been nothing but cheerful and nice, it's great. My friends and I have nights out on a regular basis and we've all had a lot of fun with the people working there. I've been in a few times when it wasn't so busy as well, and nothing changed. Great service with a smile. The people are very charming and welcoming, which is probably what has kept me coming back! That and the food...on the right days the place has a sports bar feel, but the menu is definitely much more than bar food. I recommend trying the fried green tomatoes, baked stuffed oysters, and the ribs. The ribs are fantastic! I've tried most of the menu, I could go on and on but just take my word for it, I've had nothing but quality every time I've gone in there. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. They've made me a fan for life and I always recommend it to new people!

Pros: Food, atmosphere, fun friendly staff, great for game days or a regular dinner, excellent beer/wine/liquor selection

Cons: none

I was a lettle skeptical when I walked in on a Monday night becuase there were not many people there but the food and the service was great...They have a great menu and a really good variety of sides. They have also turned the old Box Seat into a much nicer place. I also loved that there were flat screen everywhere to watch MNF. BBQ was great and seafood looked good also. I would definitely reccomend Crows Nest to others and would go back again

Pros: food, TV's everywhere, new look

Cons: it was a little cold because of all of the patio space they have downstairs

Ratings_icons Very smoky

I was excited to see that the Box Seat was being redone, and I had read that the Crow's Nest was more of a restaurant than a sports bar. We went there tonight for the first time, and it is definitely a sports bar. The food was good but the entire bar and restaurant were extremely smoky. It reminded me of the old Box Seat! They allow smoking on the patios which are completely enclosed with plastic and open to the restaurant. Obviously there is not good ventilation because I now reek of smoke. Also, we arrived at 5:30 for a 6pm game and put our name on the list for a table. After waiting over an hour we got a seat at the bar. Three and a half hours after we put our name on the list, the called our name for a table. I will not be going back.

Pros: Lots of tvs and pretty good food

Cons: Extremely smoky and very long wait for a table
