Uptown Grooming

Let me give you a little background about me : I am the most difficult, OCD, demanding, needy client a groomer (or any person) can meet . I am usually NEVER happy and I am supper sensitive about who handles my dogs. I get panic attacks if I see one little tiny mistake. The guy who took me in this morning was Richard. The minute I talked to him I felt like a weight was lifted of my chest. He was calm and accomodating, he understood exactelly what I was expecting and when I came back to pick my two little darlings I realized that he did it all perfectly - I am not kidding, i don't see perfection very often in this town! . The nails, the ears, the shiny coat, the smell, the little bow. I was amazed. yes me the client from hell , I was actually satisfied 110%. Lilly and Wally were glowing and happy. Here is the thing If I am satisfied you will probably be too . These guys love and care about dogs you just can tell by the way they do their job.

I would highly recommend Uptown Grooming to anyone who truly loves their pets and even considers them to be 'part of the family.' I have a 4 year old Shitzu (Vinny), a 3 year old Boston Terrier (Mack) and a 6 year old Labrador (Spanky). My doggies are always so happy to see the friendly groomers. They always come home smelling great and are as clean as can be! I noticed they still smell clean even days after the visit! The salon itself is very clean and offers a more personable experience for my boys and me. The stylists are very knowledgeable and experienced and offered me wonderful advice on food, shots, exc and once even saved me a visit to the vet! You can count on seeing us every 2 weeks! Thanks again, Vinny, Mack, Spanky and James.

I am writing this Review on behalf of Elaine Schneider (Elaine is 80 years old and does not have a PC).
Elaine asked me to post the story about the day Charley met Dannie.
Dannie has been Charley Schneider's Pet Stylist long before Uptown Grooming was even a thought.
Elaine had met a beautiful little shih Tzu on her street during his walks.
And decided that she also would like to have a little dog.
So she contacted a shih Tzu breeder and arranged to purchase a pup.
When she arrived at the breeders house there was this ugly little scruffy shih Tzu pup,
that looked nothing like the beauty she had met in her neighborhood.
But he was the last of the litter and Elaine figured he would be good company, and took him home.
The next time she saw her neighbor with her little dog she asked who the dogs groomer was, and booked an
Appointment hoping that her little Charley might look somewhat better after a hair cut.
To her surprise when she picked up Charley he had been transformed from ragamuffin to stud muffin!
And now everyone on Rodeo Drive knows Charley Schneider he is the celebrity of the neighborhood.
So do your pup a favor and visit Uptown Grooming.

I highly recommend Uptown Grooming not only for their amazing haircuts but for the whole experience. You can always tell the people who really love animals and everyone at Uptown Grooming falls in that category. My dogs (two Shih Tzus) actually drag me into the shop which has never happened to me with other groomers. Not only do my dogs come out looking and smelling beautiful but they are never in a hurry to leave. The shop is not only super clean and organized but also fun and interesting from the big screen TV always showing animal features to the walls lined with photos of the many dogs that they groom. Plus the grooming stations are right out in the open so you can actually watch the animals getting their haircuts-it's just like a hair salon.

Pros: Excellent Groomers, Upbeat and Fun Atmosphere, Super Clean
