4 Stars: Paper-thin crepes from a Japanese-fusion restaurant (by Mo J.)

I happened upon Unicorn Crepes quite by accident in the International District, near the historic Chinatown Gate. The staff is willing to load just about anything onto the delicious paper-thin -- actually, thinner crepes. You can build a breakfast or a lunch -- from bananas with cereal, to tuna salad. At the suggestion of filling maker, Yumu, I tried the Blueberry Custard Whip crepe. It was an absolute delight -- the crepe was thickly coated with sweet, buttery custard and heavy whipped cream, and topped with several heaping spoonfuls of blueberries. For those on the go, they will roll it into an easy to manage cone. This is one sweet surprise worth stopping at next time you are in the I.D.
