Amazing atmosphere, but a little pretentious. The food is great is are the cocktails. The service is very professional but not that well-versed on the food.

We went to Spice Market for New Year's Eve with friends. We were not disappointed. We had a modified tasting menu. The cod was great. The ginger rice was amazing! My favorite was the pinapple shrimp.

I was so excited to eat at Spice Market while in Atlanta. I Eat at the NYC Spice Market a few times a month. The New SM at the Mid Town W was a real let down. Made a reservation and the table was not ready. went to bar and ordered a drink, then the table was ready. Waited for ten minutes and finally we got our drinks. Ordered a few of my favorites to share with an old friend and I was shocked at the difference in service, food and experience. The food was ok. Just ok. the desserts were right on! coffee (latte') was really good. One thing i love about the NYC location is the bread and the dip they serve, guess it was not in the budget for the ATL location,
No halibut either. When I was told by the server that the red snapper was prepared in the same manner? I ordered it... She was clearly confused.

Spice Market is the Atlanta branch of a popular NYC restaurant from famed restauranteur Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The food is quite good, although extremely expensive and on par or worse than some of the many Asian Fusion restaurants in Atlanta. But if you're into see and be seen scenes, this is the place for you.
