I bought into the membership for a year. I was told that I could use my pre-paid massages at anytime. I went to use 2 of my remaining 4 massages on December 14, 2010 and was told that they had expired.
Nowhere in my contract does it state that pre-paid massages expire! I went into the office and spoke to Mandy the office manager. She agreed that it didn't say anything about an expiration date anywhere and said usually once a member decides to cancel; they fill out a form that tells them when their pre-paid massages would expire. I didn't sign any such form, I just sent in a hand written note on 8/02/2010. She left a message for the owner Allison, saying that it looked like I didn't know about an expiration date and how could we resolve this.
The next day I called Mandy and she informed me that line 6 of the contract states you have to be a member to use pre-paid massages. I said that I thought I was a member as long as I had pre-paid massages left and that line is to vague to expect me to understand that there is indeed and expiration date. Mandy then stated the pre-paid massages expire when your 1-year contract is up. My contract was up 9/17/2010, yet I used one of my pre-paid massages on 9/23/2010 with no problems. Mandy then stated that I had 30 days from my membership expiration date, which would be 10/17/2010. I said it doesn't say that anywhere in the contract and why would nobody tell me that I had 3 weeks to use my remaining 4 massages when I was in there 9/23/2010. She said it's not their job and that?s company policy and I'm just supposed to know that.
This company is VERY shady and did nothing to inform me of any expiration date on pre-paid massages. When I spoke to Mandy again to leave a message for the owner she said the owner did not have time to call me and hung up on me.
VERY rude and unprofessional company!!!
Better than massage envy. I was impressed with the atmosphere and the monthy fee is a better price. I love the staff.. I have gotten an excellent massage every time I have been there thus far (four times total) and they offer aromatherapy, and some different add-ons like a cold stone, hot towel facial massage great for sinus and other head pain. I am very happy to have switched.
Cons: needs more locations throughout town
I have had several massages in the past but I have to say the massage I received at Massage Heights was the first one I actually caught myself snoring! I was there for 50 minutes of heaven! I can't remember the name of my therapist but she was awesome! It was so nice and peaceful there...I would recommend it to anyone. And for $39.99....how can you go wrong?!?! Make sure to check it out.
I visited Massage Heights and received an amazing massage by Simone. All of the staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The membership is a great way to escape the daily grind!
Pros: High Quality Massage
I have had one of the best massages that I can remember from Trisha. The timing was perfect (as I did arrived 10 before as asked) and I feel like I got my moneys worth and more. The facility was high class compaired to Massage Envy, and the staff was really kind. I have decided to become a memeber because of the excellent service and value. I look forward to my monthly massage!
I went there in Nov. 08, right after they first opened. I had a very nice massage by Maria, but it was supposed to be 80 minutes (they list in on the menu as "hour and a half") but it was only a 70 minute massage. I was not there 10 minutes early as they said to be, but still, there was no one else in the building, so I think they could have given me the full time I paid for.
Pros: Nice surroundings
Cons: short on the time
