My son loves this camp and will be back at Oasis next season! He raved about the exotic zoo and Mad Science during on-site days and was crazy about the humongous slip-n-slide and the trip to Wrigley Field.

I appreciate the owners greeting my son by name as we arrived at camp in the morning and their hands-on approach. I also liked Oasis' organization. By the time I pulled up to their doors at the end of a long day my son had said his goodbyes, had everything packed and in his bag, and was skipping to the car. I didn't have to get out of my car if I didn't want to but often did when a staff member had a fun story to tell me about the day's adventures! My son just felt very comfortable at Oasis and their staff always made him feel appreciated and valued.

The drop-off and pick-up flexibility are great for working parents and I love the fun educational themes. Children who love water parks, trips, and activities that are not highly competitive should check out this camp. Oasis is not cheap but it's worth it. We utilize their pre-registration period in January to save a bit of money. Summer camps are supposed to be fun and an opportunity to make new friends and meet up with old ones. Oasis did just that!

This is a great camp on the North Shore whose best feature is that the owners are an experienced teacher and a school psychologist. This equips them to plan and deal with many situations and types of children. Two of my children have gone to this camp and their favorite parts were all of the swimming trips, the costume days, the dunk tank, and field trips to the Lake County Fair and Wild West Town. There is also time when the campers can choose what they want to do, which kids find fun as well. Check them out.

Oasis Summer Day Camp, by far, exceeded all my expectations. My boys had an unbelievable camp experience and many thanks go to the talented staff. My kids loved each weekly theme, especially wild west week, the varied day trips were exciting, and the overall programming was educational and so much fun.

I love that reading during the summer is no longer a struggle as The Tree Fort Challenge has turned what typically is viewed as work into a fun part of our summer. It's also nice knowing I get to take a break from making lunches as healthy catered lunches occur weekly.

Oasis is a regular topic in our house and my sons can't wait until camp begins this summer. It is November and we are still talking about the dunk tank! The individual attention and great care my boys received is unlike any camp I was a part of as a kid. I highly recommend Oasis Day Camp!

I have three kids (ages 7-17), years of experience with various day camps, and this is absolutely the best camp we have ever found. It is designed and run by educators who have a real appreciation for kids as human beings, and who have never lost their sense of what is fun. Their choices for activities are spot-on. My older daughter (10) just had a glorious second summer with Oasis where she reconnected with old friends and made some new ones. My younger one went for the first time this year and she??s already talking about next year. The kids go on swimming field trips twice a week, usually to the beach or to a water park, and then there??s a third field trip to some special place associated with a weekly theme (e.g., the movies, the wild west, etc.). During the on-site days, the kids are busy with sports, science projects, and other activities. Not infrequently, there will be a special appearance by a magician or some other performer. And the camp makes photographs and video available online so parents can see and share some of the fun. Also, there??s the flexibility to change plans if the weather won??t cooperate. Last year, autumn weather blasted in a little too early on an August day when they??d planned to be outside. Next thing you know, a bus arrived to take the kids bowling in Wilmette instead. Awesome. The hours easily accommodate working parents, too. This is not the cheapest camp you??ll find, but trust me, it??s worth it. Childhood is short, and summer is even shorter. Send them to Oasis.
