Called Midwest Mobile, talked to a live person. Mike was very professional and scheduled me for an appointment the very next day. Called before they came out to let me know they were on the way and came when they said they would. Very fast, efficient and let me know everything that they were doing while the repair was taking place. Prices were very reasonable and both Mike and Brian were very courteous and went the extra mile to offer recommendations for additional repairs. Very satisfied and would most definitely use them again!

My alternator broke down right after I parked at O'Hare airport, and I took my flight. Before my flight back to Chicago, I called these guys up and described the problem. When I landed, they were waiting at my car before I got there! After around an hour, they had put in a new alternator and I was ready to go. Without them, I would have had to get my car towed to a mechanic and have it fixed the next day (it was late evening). They saved all the towing and the tension.

I think they provide a very useful service by coming over and fixing a car even at times when other shops have closed down.

I just bought a used car that has many issues, none of which I anticipated. I was given a referral for Midwest Mobile Mechanic. I called and Mike came out to my house to diagnosis the problems. Midwest changed my front rotors and repaired an oil leak. I am extremely happy with the service Midwest provides. I will be using Midwest Mobile Mechanic for other issues my car has. I recommend Midwest Mobile Mechanic to everyone I know.

I go to start up my van and I immediately realize I have a problem. I called Brian and Mike from Midwest Mobile Mechanic to explain my problem. They came to my home and found the problem alright--some animal decided to make a home under my car's hood. Well, my spark plug wire and cables to my battery and battery cover we all chewed up.

Mike and Brian took care of everything in a fast, efficient and affordable way. I'm very happy and will recommend them to my friends.

I live in Utah and was looking at purchasing a 2001 Blazer located in the NW Chicago area. The pictures of the vehicle looked fairly decent on the dealership's website, and the owner mentioned there were a couple of minor problems that they could take of.

Brian and Mike performed a used car inspection and determined there was very little maintenance ever done on the Blazer, and estimated there were between $1200-$1500 in immediate repairs that would be needed. They also advised against driving the Blazer to Utah without doing some of the repairs first.

I'm very pleased that I consulted with Brian and Mike first before making a decision to buy the vehicle, else I would have been saddled with a lot of hidden expense in getting the Blazer back in shape. Thanks again for your help - it was much appreciated!

I requested a used car inspection before buying and the results of their inspection were ready within 48hrs! Not only are they quick, Mike and Bryan also provided me with a detailed report of their findings and were generous enough to review the results while presenting their honest opinion, which weighed heavily on my decision. These guys will not BS you or jerk you around. They will present you with the facts, offer alternatives, and give you a sense of security in their work. I will definitely be employing their services next time I find myself in need of mechanics of world class value for prices that you cannot beat anywhere.

I found these guys on a desperate whim because I didn't want to deal with the headache of towing my car AND being jerked around with a shady mechanic for an ungodly amount of money on repairs. And with divine luck, I found these great guys. They were courteous, professional and went the extra mile to help me get my rubber back to the road. There wasn't any smoke and mirrors...you buy the part and they put it on for a set price given the job. The amount of money I saved by going with Midwest was ridiculous! I don't think I will ever go to any other mechanic again. Given that money is a commodity people want to hold on to given the times, if you find yourself in need of car repair, I promise you, you will be satisfied and glad at the value AND service these guys provide!!!!

I used Brian's services last week and was very pleased with the service. Not only did they come to my location to work on my SUV in 20 degree weather, they took the time to find out that my alternator was bad which I assumed but they also did a look over and found that my battery had a bad terminal. I replaced both with my own parts and they were diligent and friendly to say the least. I don't know if most of you know how Mercedes designs/engines are but let me tell you they are not easy to work on (on purpose) but Brian and Mike did a stellar job at a fraction of what the dealership would have charged me. I will definitely be using these guys for all of my future needs.-Jordan, C

I had a headlight out, and I couldn't fix it myself because the battery was in the way. I wasn't sure they would come out to do such a small job- probably 20 minutes max. I called Brian, and he gave me an appointment for the next morning. Later the same day, he called me back to say that an appointment had opened up for an hour later if I wanted it. I wasn't available then, but I really appreciated that he thought to call me about it.
This morning he called to confirm my appointment then showed up right on time. He was friendly and in a good mood. He took care of my car, no problem.
They have a $65 minimum, which seemed steep at first. My regular mechanic could have done the job for 20 bucks, but my regular mechanic is only open from 9am to 6pm. I am at work from 7am to 6:30pm. Unless I'm leaving my car with them for a period of time, it's too much hassle to get back and forth. I was really paying for the convenience of them coming to me, which was worth it. I would absolutely use them again!

These guys came out and replaced my alternator on a freezing cold day, on the side of a busy street - and for a very fair price. My car was up and running in 2 hours. You can't beat that.

Midwest Mobile Mechanics provide a much needed, reliable, and affordable service. I will definitely be using them again if my car needs anything.

The professional service that Midwest mobile provided exceeded my expectations. I have a Lexus that didn't start, but after a short moment with these guys, my car hums like a new vehicle again. They were prompt and very knowledgeable about cars. Even my foreign vehicle. I would recommend this service to all my family and friends.

And the rates were very affordable.

Great Job Guys

I called on a Friday night, for a malfunctioning car alarm and dead battery. The repairmen called to let me know when they were 30 minutes away. They provided prompt professional services and took the time to explain everything they were doing. Also provided recommendations of how to keep my battery from dying again. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They helped me when no one else could. My car broke down on the way to work during a snow storm. I googled for a mechanic & found these guys MidwestMobileMechanic.com. I called they came out diagnosed the problem & installed a new battery. The installation price was cheaper than just having my car towed to a shop.
Thanks guys,
Mike Martinek

Running late for work and these guys were wonderful. They come out and helped me get my car going. Not only were they fast, they were very knowledgeable and saved me lots of money vs taking my car to the shop.

Thank god I found these guys.
I tried starting my car after work and nothing. It wouldn't turn over. I went back in the office to call an auto service. I found out how expensive a tow truck or a shop would cost with all kinds of stipulations & fees. Then i found www.midwestmobilemechanic.com
These guys came out and gave me the choice of either diagnosing the problem for a $65 refundable fee ($65 fee is waived with every signed work order) or to just come out and install my (customer bought part), which was nice because you get a warranty in your name that way. I called, told them the problem They didn't charge me a diagnostic fee either because I was sure it was the battery, alternator or both.
They sent over two guys & they diagnosed it & I was wrong it was just a starter. The starter installation was fast, professional & fairly priced. They saved me a lot of money, time, & sanity.
If I ever need auto help in the future I wouldn't hesitate on using these guys again.
Thanks,
Don Perry Chicago,IL
