5 Stars: Great Cafe for Brunch (by Deirdre W.)

AQ Kafe is bright, welcoming and family-friendly. The food is excellent, and the service is terrific. The food is Swedish meets American brunch, and the result is that there's something on the menu for everyone. Our experience was an excellent one, and we've been back to pick up rolls and pastry from the separate bakery area. Yum!

4 Stars: Biskvit in Columbus Circle! (by 54nomore)

I walked into the cafe tonight on a whim, to see what they had. I was interested after seeing the Princess Torte and the Sarah Bernard. I decided to try the Sarah Bernard. I'm a big fan of biskvi, but at $3 each, I was very ready to be disappointed. I was impressed. The almond bottom was softer than I'm used to, and the chocolate coating was surprisingly rich. Either they use cheaper ingredients in Sweden, or it's been too long since I had one. Either way, it was good.

The chocolate creme filling was not dark chocolate, so the "Sarah Bernards" are actually biskvi, but they're very good. Even at $3 each, I will probably go back for more soon.

The cashier seemed harried, but I'm used to crappy service in this town.
