Anyone who put a postive review WORKS FOR THEM!!!!! They are TERRIBLE! Showed up without the men they needed, over charged us thousands of dollars and held our things hostage. Added extra weight to the truck and when we DMANDED a reweigh that we could witness..guess what...OVER 1,000 pounds less. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR OUR REFUND FOR THAT!!!! DISHONEST CRIMINALS!!!! DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD!

Awful service. We constantly called about our shipment and no one could ever tell us where it was in the country or when it would arrive. No one ever called back with the details, they obviously did not care to find information about our stuff. A whole month later, our household goods arrived, days later than the 4-21 day range in our contract. No one arranged for a refund for the delay, still 2 months after our shipment arrived.

On top of it all, they arrived at 9pm and didn't leave until 11pm. Not only was it extremely late, my husband was out of town and I was alone with the 2 movers, because they did not show up at the arranged time for delivery. Also, some of our goods were damaged in transit, of course with no refund.

For all the trouble and time, we definitely would have rented a truck and driven the 3000 miles across country ourselves, which we made in 3 days and had no furniture, clothes, etc until our stuff finally arrived.

I had to move from one apartment to another in Brooklyn, and it had to be done on very short notice. I had some specifics such as walk up and some heavy duty furniture. Everything was done professionally and very accurately, not a single item was damaged.

Highly recommend them.

Last year,I moved from New York to Florida.Alpha Van Lines, Inc performed a terrific job by moving my 3 bedroom apartment with multiple pieces of ultra-modern furniture.The amount of fragile glass pieces was enormous. I couldn't believe my eyes when I finally opened carefully handled parts into a new house, in one piece. What a terrific job, done. Everything else was moved in according to our prior conversation and with great deal of care.
I really liked the way they handled themselves on the road.I was always able to reach them and they were always anxious to let me know how things are going on the road from time to time. That made me feel very secure.
Furthermore,I did some research on "moving prices" in New York and Florida .I went through seven companies and price-wise they were not only very compatible, but also better then almost all of them.
I would, absolutely, recommend them to anyone who decides to move locally or long distance.These are terrific people with a strong sense of pride for what they do!
Good luck with your move,I know it's not easy .I recommend you to deal with "Alpha" people.They will make it enjoyable,take it from my personal experience.

Thank you guys for moving our household on such a short notice. We are very pleased with the services you provide to our family. Your service was quick, professional, and in timely matter and the most important thing is that you work with my budget. You gave us the best estimate out of all companies we called. Your movers were courteous, professionals and respectful to all out household goods. They packed everything nicely and there was no problem what so ever to get it in and out of the truck. You are an honest hard working people and I would recommend to all my friends and family your services when need it. Thank you once again and good luck in your business in such a tough time.
