I went to Jamaica House for lunch with my dad years ago. I ordered the curried goat for my main meal and plantains for dessert. The curried goat was tender, a little spicy, and a little sweet with a strong flavor. This is the first time that I'd eaten a plantain and I thought it was good, like fried bananas. The drink that I ordered was grape with ginger flavoring and tasted like a very strong ice tea. My dad had the jerk chicken and thought that it was tender and semi-spicy. I don't recall having any problems with the service or staff.
