I called last minute, and got a same day appointment. When I got there, I was in a rush, and in a lot of pain. I got a massage with Irene and let me tell you, she took the time to listen to me and to find out what was hurting and where she needed to focus on. During the massage I could clearly see that she focused on my problem areas and didn't give me a 'routine' massage.
I really needed time to relax in my busy schedule, and they got me in and out on time, but I never felt rushed. The massage was so focused on my needs that I was hoping not too accidentally drool (lol). I am HIGHLY recommending this spa.

I went to Spa Mercer because I was staying in the hotel nearby this island. I am very glad it did. I highly recommend the Monthly special package. It is a scrub, and massage . Even though my daughter and I had different people we both left very happy. It was exactly what we needed. We will definitely return the next time we are in the city.

I just wanted to say thank you for the great day today, My husband and I came to your spa this morning after our Anniversary...we both got a massage. It was wonderful, I have had a lot of different types of massages over the years becasue of my scoliosis...and this was the bests massage I've ever had. They really knew how to make a deep tissure massage very relaxing and luxurious. My husband had a wonderful massage as well..and the spa was beautiful, clean and very peaceful.
Thank you for helping us end the weekend wonderfully... I'm so glad we live so close, so I can come back again!

I had the most amazing massage of my life. It was with Sherrie. She is the best possible masseus I have ever had and I have had TONS of massages. She is strong and works your body over like you've never experienced. I have a really bad back and I have never felt better. And this is my third time with her and each time it gets better. John is also amazing.. truly. They are some of the best around. And it's very conveniently located right off of the freeway on Mercer Island. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Best massage in town.

3 girlfriends and I went for a Birthday Spa day and had the best time at Spa Mercer. We all received facial and massage. they did a great job helping us each pick out the products that best fit our facial needs and mixed up mineral based makeup for us that really enhanced our complexions. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back.

Spa Mercer is a great place. The staff is always friendly. I recently had a series of treatments done at Spa Mercer. I feel wonderful. I really like that they are a family oriented clinic and my young daughter has had adjustments too. They have good massage therapists and nice new office location

I have had massages all over the United States, England, China, etc. and Spa Mercer has the best massage therapists I have found. The soaking, body scrub, shower and massage package make a very relaxing combo. I am really amazed that they always have such great massage therapists. The surroundings are relaxed. Go with the idea of getting a great massage at a reasonable price.

Spa Mercer is peaceful, relaxing, and refreshingly fragrant. Customer service was excellent. They were friendly and professional. I've been to Spa Mercer three times and I will make a fourth. I feel nurtured at the end of every session. It's a lovely place.

What a great experience! I took my friend here for her birthday and we had the spa to ourselves for a complete day of relaxation - I've never felt so pampered (it was almost worth us turning 40 ;-). I was impressed with their customer service, experience and knowledge. You get their full attention - no assembly line feeling here! The spa was relaxing, private and very clean (very important with what's been in the news recently). We're going again for her birthday this year, and whenever we can put aside some time to escape from the everyday grind.

I have visited Spa Mercer several times for massage mostly. Being a nurse in Dermatology I was nervous about skin care especially facials. I decided to experience it once. After talking with the Therapist about skin, I decided to try the Spa Mercer Signature Facial. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I was really interested in the Facial Toning procedure to see if this really did improve muscle tone. I purchased a series of treatments and must say I do see a marked improvement. Both my husband and friends have noticed the improvement. This is a great way to improve facial atrophy... I now have more confidence in this type of care for the skin. Happy customer!

Absolute Bliss. I am so lucky to have found Spa Mercer...Been there twice and both times have been fantastic. The facial is wonderful and so very relaxing. The Head and Shoulder massage is heavenly. Recently moved to Seattle from Mercer Island, which meant I needed to find a new esthetician. I don't just trust my eyebrows to anyone, so I took a chance with Spa Mercer. Well, I am so happy that I took this chance! The moment that you walk in, you are treated as a special guest in her home. You get slippers, tea, and such wonderful hospitality as soon as the door shuts behind you. The therapist gave me a wonderful body scrub and massage. Amazing!!! Definitely worth drive to Mercer Island. You will not be disappointed!

My husband gave me a gift certificate to visit Spa Mercer during New Year. I was hesitant since I had never heard anything about this place. We moved here from LA; I was a regular at many nice places in LA. Well, this place was very unique, different from what I am used to. I was greeted with slippers, warm tea and the Best facial, Massage and body scrub. I have ever received. I will definitely return. My gift to myself was buying a monthly special?buy 10 times I get 2 times free for these services! That is very good deal!

I was surprised to find that the cost for their massage equivalent to a major resort as from the red flashing sign that advertised "Open" really scared me along with the major language barrier. I thought instantly that considering this, I was in for a positive, culturally inviting experience.
Instead, I walked into a room with hard cold floors, metal fold out chairs and a bright spot light over head. Aesthetically, the place was very unapeeling. Given the benefit of doubt, I was doubled in dissapointment when the girl who massaged me was rubbing my skin, not my muscles (mind you, I am slender) and she was massaging fast as well. My fiance and I were in a couples massage room and the two technicians were rude to talk openly in front of us in a different language during our treatment. I also asked that they turn the bright light off during the treatment and the tech said " I know, light is bright" and still did not turn it off so that we could at least enjoy the little positive there was with the candle lit. When we were done with our massage, my right arm remained a little numb and tingly for two hours (maybe thats a good thing)
All in all, my fiance enjoyed his massage and my technician was good at rubbing my limbs at least. I will definitely go elsewhere to get a Thai massage and would strongly discourage anyone from going here if you are looking for a true "Spa Escape" experience.

A friend of mine gave me a gift certificate, at New Year time. I have been to lots of Spas, this is my past time enjoyment. My company provides gifts to Spa Mercer when I travel. So, I have visited many resort/destination Spas around the country. There are many different types and specialty services in each Spa I experience. This time I decided to try this specialty Spa. I experienced the Head-to-toe Rejuvenation Package: Therapeutic Soaking and Scalp massage, Chinese Body Scrub, Spa Mercer Signature Massage, Spa Mercer Signature Facial, Foot and Hand Therapy. I added on lunch, which made my day even brighter. I absolutely loved the service; the privacy was wonderful, the products smelled pure and felt great. Very Unique concept and most enjoyable experience by far in Spa Mercer!!

I love to visit Spas, I moved here from Florida where we enjoyed going as often as possible. I have several favorite spas, each has their own special qualities; depending on what you are interested in at the time. I have visited large spas in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond/Woodinville and have traveled into Mercer Island, I have really enjoyed each experience, don't care for the midi-spas but that's my preference. That's the point, Preference! If you want privacy, higher quality time with wonderful treatments, this is the place for you and oh, I forgot, focused around Spa Mercer only!! Love it! It is great there is so much variety in Mercer Island!!

This was probably one of the best massages I've ever received! I was a little surprised that they asked so much detail regarding my health history, but now I know why...the massage addressed every point in my body that needed attention. I also really enjoyed the space and personal attention....it's really nice to know that you are the one they are focusing all of their attention on (it feels a bit narcissistic saying that, but it does!).....it really makes a difference in the level of personal attention that you receive. I do wish that I'd had more time to get there and relax. I *definitely* plan on coming back. I'm so glad that looking on here led me to finding this great little place!

I have been a customer of Spa Mercer at the Mercer Island and I have received nothing but excellence at their hands. I have indulged in most of the treatments they provide and I must say that they have all been excellent, the Moor Mod Therapeutic Body Soaking and Chinese Body Scrub services have been delightful, the massages heavenly, and the facials nothing short of amazing. Aside from the services I have recieved, I am pleased to say that the front desk staff has been inviting and amazingly helpful even in the most challenging situations. In my opinion The Spa Mercer is a wonderful place to take a break.

I just have to say Spa Mercer is amazing! The other day I went in to experience their Signature Facial. After I was greeted with a smile at the front desk, I was escorted to the very clean, well appointed changing room where I put on a fluffy robe and slippers. I then proceed to the relaxation area and sipped on some warm tea. The facial was awesome! Along with a deep cleanse and exfoliation, the therapist gave me a wonderful massage. My skin felt so clean and hydrated when I left. I will definitley be back...maybe next time for a massage and body scrub as well!

just moved from NYC and was looking for a new place for waxing , i just tried Raya and it was great ! I have been waxing for 12years, so i can comfortabley say this was an excellent experience and job well done. The price was very good, for those of us who wax every month this is definately part of the decition factor , in fact i often think salons should have deals for those who wax all year long every month, some small discount , or one of those cards you stamp like in a coffee shop-if you guys at Raya are reading, think about it...;) great job, excellent wax, great atmosphere, the place is beautiful and super clean, and great pricing, kudos! i highly recommend it, and no doubt will be back myself.

I just had a facial at the Spa Mercer for the Woman and my experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and I left relaxed with glowing skin. The therapist is friendly and caring manner is wonderful...listening to my concerns and advising with a holistic approach to skin care. The experience was nothing short of pure bliss...AND I have clear, healthier skin!! I couldn't ask for more in a spa!!

I first went to The Spa Mercer.....as a gift from my husband and have continued to go since.
I have done a Moor Mud Therapeutic Body Soaking, Chinese Body Scrub,and 90 mins massages from Sherry. and her professional staff. That's amazing!!!!
I have always had great service with a special touch on each occasion. It is a great, private atmosphere, relaxing, and a wonderful way to get away from the busy lives we all lead. Schedule a special session with a friend or family member and enjoy the time together, or just pamper yourself. Sherry can set up the occasion to meet your needs. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

I had a chronic neck pain for more than 2 years. I had tried several chiropractors and physical therapists, but nothing made a drastic change to my condition. I read reviews about John and decided to try this one out. John is a Pro. I must say that I started seeing the difference after my very first visit. He does a great deep tissue massage that completely relaxes the body, getting rid of all the stress points. He is very knowledgeable, he would inform you about what he is doing and how it would help you. With almost 5-6 visits, my neck pain is reduced by 70-80%.

The spa is beatiful the staff and management always greet me. They have always listend to my concerns. They have always recomended more then one option and not alway the most expensive. The staff truly their to help you. I love the fact that this place as a physician and nurse on staff and are always ready to help with skin to health concerns. I will be a client for many years to come I do not trust any other spa to do the types of treatments I have had done. I also love the different types of items they sell from undergarments to jewely and much more. I just love this place.

I am extremely picky when it comes to getting a massage... A year ago, I was searching for awesome massage in Mercer Island and I found John via City Search. Over the past 10 years, I have had cronic back, shoulder and neck pain that ended up causing pain in my left arm. When in chronic mode, nothing seemed to bring me relief. I recently realized that I have not had any chronic pain in the last 12 months. John spends lots of time on my neck and how it relates to the rest of my body. He has a great technique for finding what muscles need to be worked on. I have an appointment with John every week. Over the past year, I have tried other therapists when I could not get an appointment with John, and no one comes close to John 's skilled technique. It is time for John to train others his technique so more people will be able to experience massage heaven. Why am I addicted to massage? My 91 yr old dad always told me that having a massage was one of the best ways to reduce stress and support yourself in today's hetic lifestyle. I think everyone should experience awesome massage on a regular basis instead of treating it as a special occasion!!!

My girlfriend and I went in for a day at the spa. We had the most amazing experience, it's hard to accurately describe it all. The entry reception is SPA MERCER with an elegant music and a delightful staff to greet you. Jolin and John were both there to greet us when we came in. We sat in a private cozy waiting room filling out papers and were offered our choice of teas. Our massage therapist and aesthetic specialist greeted us with warm, inviting smiles and walked us towards our treatment rooms. I happily complied . Come on ladies from Bellevue and Mercer Island, this spa will offer you more that you could ever imagine.

I have to tell you, as much as I look to Citysearch for recommendations, I've never written a review - not once. After seeing Spa Mercer at Mercer Island,and getting a self renewal. I feel compelled!! That is fantastic! I've been to a lot of massages - and I mean A LOT ! I don't need all the fancy stuff (although it was very relaxing and the spa gave me the best foot massage I've ever had), I just want my body to be clean and unclogged . In the past, I've always left places feeling like the massagist had missed critical areas - not this time. The Spa Mercer was so thorough, honest and NICE. I really feel like I've made a new best friend and I'm on the pathway to flawless body. I am not ashamed to admit it: I AM ADDICTED TO LOVIE's MASSAGE I WILL BE FOLLOWING THIS PLACE WHERE EVER .

I highly recommend indulging in one of the treatments at the new spa mercer. This is a great spa. Wonderful staff and treatments. I love this spa - cozy and comfortable with a great array of services. My favorite is 1 hour massage and foot reflexology . John is especially talented. He is really helpful and always does a great job with any treatment I have. He has great suggestions and really understands massage. Try it on one of those days when you're looking to treat yourself to something special. It will rock your world!

This is one of those places that you'll love! and you'll want to go back every week for a massage! I didn't think i'd need a massage more than once a month...but I felt so good after I left every time, that i had to schedule a massage at least twice or three times a month. Spa Mercer is a great massage place. So great that I book on a monthly basis. I walk into the Spa Mercer and I greeted warm and welcome. I have a fabulous massage and walk out refreshed and relaxed. When my massage is over, I am provided with fresh cold water and it is so comforting. I highly recommend Spa Mercer to any one!

My first review but with such an excellent experience at Spa Mercer had to share it with others. After doing so much work for Christmas, my daughter and I really want to have a massage to relax a moment. I called a couple spas I used to go to make the appointment, but they were all closed because of the heavy snow. My daughter recommended trying the new spa at Mercer Island town center?? Initial greeting atmosphere was conducive to serene relaxation. My daughter truly enjoyed her deep tissue massage "one of the best ever!" (she is something a spa connoisseur, having experienced many great spas in the US, Hawaii and other parts of the world.) I later joined her for a Chinese foot reflexology and could not believe how good my feet felt after this. If I didn?t know any better I say their massage therapist were a healer because there is something truly magical about Spa Mercer massage staff! The Spa Mercer staffs were very professional, friendly and extremely good at what they do! My daughter and I will never, ever go to anyone else for spa treatment!
