Albrite Bathtubs

We had Linda refinish our clawfoot tub (original to my great-grandparent's house) and brought it to her place. The overall work on the tub seems fine for now although there were two spots we noticed that didn't glaze right (small spots). The only time After picking up the tub we heard from her on the way home because she RAN to the bank and she said that the bank couldn't cash the check...we weren't even home yet and hadn't transferred from our other account yet.We have repeatedly tried to call her, email her, etc to get the 10 year warranty paperwork and receipt that is promised on the website and she has never called back. This has been over a year of trying to contact her. She provides poor customer service and is very unprofessional. Use at your own risk.

Linda refinished my shower stall and before I could inspect her work, was out the door with my check. Upon inspection, I noticed drips and a missed area along the top of the shower. I called her and my message - stating that there were several "unexpected" drips that needed to be fixed - went straight to voicemail. Linda called me back immediately, convinced me that the drips were due to some caulk she had difficulty removing and that she would be back to fix the drips. After three weeks of telephone tag, I decided to research her business on the Internet. I saw that she has had several previous quality issues (drips) and has ruined other people's bathtubs. Based on what I discovered, I have decided to chalk this up to experience and have someone else fix her mistakes. I would not recommend this business for tub/shower refinishing work.

Contracted with Albrite Bathtubs for a refinish of complete tub-surround at the quoted price of $645 with a 12 yr warranty. Albrite (Linda) the owner, quoted prior to viewing. Once visited she wanted to change the price, she indicated that she was unaware it was a tub surround, even after I told her prior to quoting, Finally, after speaking with her, she agreed to do the job at the quoted price. She did the job, (WHILE GETTING PHONE CALLS) and to my shock, it was horrible. The area re-surfaced had numerous paint runs, job was very poorly done, spoke to her again, she sent a contracted person to come back and fix the mess, after about one week, he resanded the whole tub, and resprayed again with very poor results. I called Linda again, she sent the same person back, now the third time, resanded and repreped yet again, I now have paint runs, on the walls of the tub, and the base of the tub, the non skid surface on the bottom of the tub, is completely gone all filled with paint. Basically our tub is ruined. I spoke with Linda again, and asked for my money back, I figure 3 strikes and your out. She is scheduled to look at it again week o f 5/11/09. I would never recommend this company to anybody. They were un-professional and complete lack of experience.
