Rockaway Beach Resort

The Rockaway Beach Resort was most likely an older hotel that turned itself into a time share resort with only partial success. The location is great - right on the beach in Rockaway, a small town so you won't have the usual crowds at the more popular beaches. The view is awesome, the staff is friendly and extremely accommodating. But, the rooms are old. Even granite tile on top of old cupboards can't disguise the age. The rooms need ovens and dishwashers and a bit bigger kitchen. However, my family enjoyed the town, the small pool, the game room, and the hot tub.
