Ratings_icons Great Food Drinks and Fun!

Love this place! It's a hidden gem near Penn Station. The food is delicious and always fresh. Love the Sunday Night Bartender. I've become a regular now on Sundays just for her since she keeps the place lively and is always ready to serve me another drink!
But I will return to Alpha any day of the week since it's just that good! Seriously what a great find that Alpha Fushion!

Pros: Great Food and Friendly Atmosphere

Ratings_icons Fresh Food. Great Drinks!

Was just here on a Sunday night with a big group of friends. The sushi was so fresh. They have cool and creative dishes like spicy tuna tartlet (served on pringles). Ask the bartender for a big red lemonade- its not on the menu but it will knock your socks off. Yum!

Pros: Sushi is SO fresh.

Cons: Can't wait til they expand to a bigger space.

The service is friendly and the decor, in spite of the size, is warm and comfortable. My friend and I have been going once a week.

Pros: This place has excellent food. It is all fresh.

Cons: Wish it was a larger place, however, they will expand.

Ratings_icons Greatest food in the world

OMG I am not a big sushi fan. I had the greatest experience at this restaurant. The manager is cool as hell. The service is excellent and the food was awesome and prices are reasonable. You must try the kc roll and ask for the henry hook up which is brought to the table in flames (literally). I live in nj but it is only a train ride away. I will surely be back. I thank henry and the staff at alfha fusion for their supierior hospitality and i wish you them all the best.

Pros: kc roll and the fried snapper

Cons: none

As a New Yorker who dines out several times a week, it's so refreshing to find a restaurant that continues to make the grade over and over. I've been a fan and have turned on many friends and business associates to this not-so-hidden gem.

Ratings_icons omg I'm in sushi heaven!!

Finally, here's a pan-asian restaurant that offers great food, great staff and great prices all in one! The lunch special is $6.50+tax and you get soup or salad and more than plenty heaping of food!! AND the food taste really good and fresh. Try the crispy red napper or flounder served with hot & sour sauce, sesame chicken (sounds lame, but it's so crispy and sweet and very lightly battered), or the beef tenderloin or seafood lover's From the sushi bar, ask for the Centipede Roll or Uni Tempura (this isn't even on the menu.. it's the sushi chef's SPECIALS). Those guys prepare the sushi like it's a five-star restaurant.. Order the Volcano Roll and it comes with FIRE (seriously!) The manager Henry is one of the nicest people I've ever met.. He does birthday parties, cocktail party, pre-fix menus, anything you want.. Great place to bring your date to also because it's very calm during dinner time. The food at Alpha beats those at Haru, Nobu or the cheap-o East.

Pros: great price, fresh sushi and delicious kitchen food

Cons: a bit small for parties 30+

Ratings_icons Most Beautiful Tasting Cuisine, Interior and Wait Staff this Side of Town!

bestpest

The music in this place makes my classsically trained ears wimper. Fortunately they turn the music down when I begged. If your young at heart this funky place has lots of love, in terms of its delightul menu. The green tea crepe is my absolute favorite moment of bliss for my sweet tooth. Oh the real food is as eye catching as the adorable to hot waitstaff and the cool interior, My blissful evening tonight began with the Alpha Baby Ribs with Honey Sauce, The moist melting ribs went to a great cause:: my happy tummy!! The vietnamese mango salad kept my tongue saited for spicy. i hope the waitress thought it was because of her i was waving my hand over my mouth when I bit a pepper! Oh yes! The sushi and sashimi is on par and presented like a five star restaurant! My favorites are the funny fantasy creatures created with the combination roll platters like the dragon and volcano. I have brought groups of friends for pre-fix dinners. Alpha's owners arranged a great pre-fix selection, according to my budget, during the holidays. All my guests were very happy and ready to return for more. I often order the lunch specials such as the Thai Crispy Flounder and the Sambai Sauce with Tofu that are more interesting than other asian fares between Hells Kitchen and Union Square. Much of the staple favorites of Asian cusine are also available for the less adventurous. Unfortunately they do not have a liquor license yet, however they allow you to bring your own and no fee!!!! Dont forget to save space for the green tea crepes! You will squeal for joy!

Pros: Parking next door, Bus stop in front, Penn Station One Block Away, Always Fun Staff

Cons: The music is loud for oldies like me and made it hard to whisper sweet nothings

Ratings_icons Fantastic food in the Penn Station area

camillah

Wow, there is finally a good restaurant in the Penn Station area, just across the street from the giant movie theatre, in a not so crowded area. You no longer have to wander far away to another neighborhood to find food. The atmosphere at Alpha Fusion is so warm, friendly, and hip with nice decor. The food is delicious and prices very fair. The Sushi is so fresh and beautifully crafted by their famous sushi chefs. It is a work of art that makes you whip out your camera to snap a few before chowing down. And If you run out of film or batteries, you can always cross the street and get some at the world famous B&H store. It is a great place for meeting photogs from all over the world, as well as anyone who travels in and out of Penn Station (Long Island and New Jersey residents) with very little time to venture elsewhere in manhattan. A favorite cookded dish is the crispy red snapper that is so tasty and healthy. Alpha Fusion is highly recommended and approved by all my asian friends of the most discriminating palates. See you there !!

Pros: food, price, atmosphere, location near penn station, parking lot next door

Cons: space is tight, but they make it work somehow

Ratings_icons Mouth Watering! Best Asian Food!!!

saswat

Looking for great food around Penn Station always used to be a struggle. And since ambience and service matter to me as well, it used to be quite a search. Well, now the search has finally ended. Alpha Fusion provides some of the best food, service and decor I have had anywhere.
For starters, my favorite is Grilled Sake-Miso Black Cod. I have it almost everytime I am there. I also love how pineapple is blended in the shrimp tom yum noodle soup!!! Or, the crispy coconut shrimp! Can i forget the Green Tea cake...I dont remember the name of the item, but be sure to ask about it for your dessert!
Ah...its early morning now when I am writing the review, but already pining for Alpha...! :) Fabulous service and friendly smiles and conversations...Henry, Eva, Donny...be prepared to feel right at home, right in the center of Manhattan!!!

Pros: Diverse Asian Menu, Friendliest Service, Unique Healthy Desserts, Fresh Seafood

Cons: none that comes to mind...
