Stone Mad Pub

This bar is built to last 100 years is what I was told by the finishing carpenter, with parts of the bar itself pulled from Amish Country, hand made "with love," is the general feeling you get as you look around the atmosphere that in my mind best reflects what you would see if you were to walk into a nice classy bar back in the 50's. There is even an older feel to the doors (solid wood) with their giant school door hinges, or the paintings and the bar hop are reminiscent of a "Cheer's" episode. After the initial viewing of the place, the most notable thing (that really made this a 5 star establishment) was the smell, the authentic smell of wood... not that of being burnt, but of that finished wood quality smell. If you do not have any memories that you can fall back upon, or smile about, Stone Mad is a place where you could start making some. Even if this is not what you are interested in when hanging out with friends, there is even more!!! "How can that be, possible," you ask. Well for starters, they have a patio with stone furniture made by a local artist that in the very least, its uniqueness will inspire even the most leery to settle in on a nice summer night. There is also the general restaurant area, where they have an indoor Boccie Ball court, and cheese cake that will make any fan of desert satisfied two times over, with more than enough for a friend or left overs for breakfast the next day!

I love Stone Mad and would recommend it to anyone, because truly, Stone Mad has something for everyone!
