Milwaukee Career College has a good MA program
by Veronica B.
I liked MCC. I got a job as a medical assistant and I am happy with my experience. I had alot of good teachers and know I am out of working at day cares which was 20 years too long!

Milwaukee Career College is nice
by Candice M.
I liked it. I would say the class sizes were smaller in the end cause our group started big. I liked the labs when we would do injections and blood draws. I am on the externship and hope I get this job because I love the site.

Milwaukee Career College has a good MA program
by Crystal M.
MCC is got me a good externship and I was just hired at an allergy clinic. It is a great job and I was happy with my classes. I just wish it was closer to my house because I am out in New Berlin. Gas is so expensive right now. We did have a couple of immature students in our classes that wanted to create drama all of the time. Those students struggle to gets jobs cuz of their attitudes not cuz of the school.

Milwaukee Career College is personable!
by Jennifer M.
I love Milwaukee Career College! I just got a job at Aurora and I feel like I couldn't have done it if I didnt go to this school. I think MATC didn't have this type pf connection with the healthcare community like MCC does.

I Feel Like I Got Sold a $12,000 Dream
by UnhappyMCCStudent
When I signed up for MCC, I thought everything would be great. They told me that I'd be taking the AAMA CMA certification test, and that I'd be placed at an externship where they would hire me if I did a great job. I worked really really hard during school, got A's and B's, and was given two externship sites where I'd be completing my externship. The first site was a free clinic where the entire staff were volunteers, and the second site said they didn't hire MA's. I was shocked!! They won't hire MA's, yet you can use us for free labor?! Even after I found this out, I continued to work hard at both sites, because I take my schooling seriously. I also found out that I would not be taking the AAMA CMA exam, but the NHA exam. I am really upset with the school, because I feel that they lied to me. I have graduated, and have applied everywhere. I have not had any interviews. If I had been placed at an externship site that hired students, I feel I would not be in this situation. Why would a site hire when they know they are going to keep getting MCC students every six weeks that work for free?! I lost my job, because my employer didn't think my education and externship was important. I have nothing to show for it. I'm much worse off now than when I started the MA program. Now, I'm going back to school for an Associate Degree in Nursing. This school was a complete waste of time.

Stole Students Loans in 2000, owner sent to prison.
by tonymilw
This is the old MBTI
They closed MBTI after they stole students loan money. The owner and treasurer went to prison and the students including myself were left to pay their loans. You can read about it in the report to congress in may 2006 by doing a search on yahoo MBTI SCAM CONGRESS REPORT or see the link below.

Friendly Counselers and nice price
by McNeilMarquita
Starting the MA program in April. The counseler I saw was great. I like the family spirit and the fact that the school is accredited. I will get a grant and a loan. The receptionist is really mean it is true and the school is not too new looking. Overall I am glad to be all signed up.
Pros: Price, counseler Laurie
Cons: Rude receptionist

Good Program
by jesstaylor777
I am in phase 2 of my MA program and I know most of the people in my classes really like our experiences here. The instructors are smart and we are doing things that are important for when we get a job after we graduate. They have high job placement rates and have a better reputation then Sandford Brown. I am getting almost all A's right now and am proud about that.
Pros: short programs, financial aid
Cons: none

Nice School
by cuteygrrrl1987
I liked this school more then MATC . Nobody took my money either. I think that if you cannot get a job you should tried harded to get hired at your externship, and stay there for at least a year, because its very hard to get hired without atleast 1 years experience. The starting pay for a medical assistant for me a yr ago was 11 dollars. I knew a person im my group who started out making 10 dollars an hour. I worked hard and now a year later I am making 15 dollars an hour. She is at 14.15 now and I worked at 6.50 before I graduated. My tuition pd for itself in only one year and I got only one grant.
Pros: nice teachers and grant
Cons: mean receptionest

an ok school
by proudUSMCwife
It's funny I see people writing bad things bout MCC...I understand people have opinions of their own but my experience there was great. The whole time I was there I only had one new instructor...the job placement is not just the school's responsibility the student also has to communicate with them. You can't expect to have them do everything for you and get something for nothing. I got student loans and everything frm them and they didnt run off with my money. My education was suppose to be $10,000 but I only end up paying for $6,000 of it because I got grants. I am proud to say I graduated with HIGHEST HONORS and I am Nationally certified as a CCMA frm this college. But I guess everyone's experience is different. I would recommend this college just as long as you COMMUNICATE with them, just as anywhere else, you'd be impressed with what can happen for you.

pharmacy technician program is fraud
by student12
I was promised job placement but the school never helped. I wasted $11,000 dollars on a useless education.
President of the school is dishonest and only wants to collect tuition. He fires good teachers and the staff turnover there is very hard on students.
Pros: none
Cons: dishonest, only care about the money
