The Sofa Company - Pasadena

After a month of shopping for a sectional, we enden up at the sofa company. We were pleased with that experince. The salesperson, Jeannie, was very helpful. She helped us with the fabric selection, the sectional style, the dimensions with no pressure at all. It was easy to customize our sectional. Now, we are looking forward for the delivery day!!

I was really surprised at the ease of selecting a sofa at this place. I wasn't expecting to make a decision to buy that day, however, w/ the help of a great salesperson, I was inclined to buy since the experience was very easy. One drawback at the moment is that I am still waiting for my sofa after over 9 weeks...

We came into The Sofa Company looking for seating options that could also include a sofa bed. We were very pleased with the number of different sofa styles and the option to configure many of them with a sofa bed. Jeannie Kwon helped us on our initial visit and also on our second visit when we came in to place an order. Jeannie quickly and efficiently assisted us with our fabric selection and wrote up our order. Our furniture was completed within the estimated time window and we look forward to its delivery very shortly.

I couldn't love my sectional more. It is exactly how I ordered it and was delivered on-time.

The shopping format allows you to shop for sofas and chairs without the confusion of a regular furniture store. Their delivery is fairly quick compared to regular furniture stores, but not quite as quick as they advertised.

We were in love with a couch from Restoration Hardware that was beyond our budget. The staffer at The Sofa Company, Victoria Vascelli, was sympathetic to that -- and even offered to walk over to RH to look at the couch! We didn't have to do that as we looked it up online in the store. The elements that we liked we recreated in a couch that will be nearly as lovely and $1000 less! Victoria was great and patient and understanding. The only con is that it's going to take 6-7 WEEKS to get the couch -- but then, we did have a few requirements on size and such. We saw this company's advert in the LATimes and thought well, maybe we'll find something close to what we loved at RH. We did. I recommend this company at this location as everyone was helpful and friendly and professional.

The sales staff, manager Chad and salesperson Victoria in our case, made our experience easy and fun. I had looked for a sofa to go with our funiture and art for several months, but had no luck with anything we could afford until we came here. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and very pleasant to work with. There are no "inexpensive" sofas here, but I wouldn't call them expensive, either. I'd definitely come again, and recommend them without hesitation.

We had a great time picking out our sofa and the cost was very reasonable. The lady who helped us was really attentive and had great ideas. We haven't received our sofa yet but if it is anything like our shopping experience, I'm sure we will love it. I will definitely go back for more sofas!

Jay & I had been looking to buy a sofa for a while. We accidentally run into the Sofa Co in Pasadena, but little did we know we have just found our couch? We left there we exactly what we both wanted. I really like that you are able to choose and create exactly what you want at a very affordable price. We would definitely go back to the sofa Company; I believe Victoria was very knowledgeable of the products, which made our experience a lot easy. I still have not received my Sectional but I?m pretty sure it's going to exactly what I want.

Customer service was excellent. The sofa can be made pretty much any way you want it. Depending on what you want, it can get to be a bit pricey. Then again it is still a lot cheaper than a place like DWR for a comparable sofa. Our consultant, Victoria, was very helpful. There is also a consultant there named Chelsea Couch. How funny is that?

We were skeptical about finding a comfortable sleeper sofa and we found a great one at The Sofa Company.

Victoria was very help and expalined all the details.

We were also interested in having some existing cushions on an old down sofa restuffed and The Sofa Company also offers this service. Victoria explained all our choices and we were able to sit and test out all our possible optiions. She was very informative and helpful.

The Sofa company has many designs that many of the other furniture company doesn't have. The sales personnelles were helpful into our decision. The only draw back was the price. It's a little expensive. Overall it is a good shopping experience.

My husband and I wanted a sofa for our new house. We went to several companies looking for the perfect sofa. We found so many sofas but each one had something that we wanted to change or tweak just a bit. Finding the sofa company was like a little bit of heaven. We were able to customize our sofa from the style to the size to the fabric to the buttons. We found the sofa we wanted at the perfect price. The sofa was so wonderful that we bought 2 instead of 1. We highly recommend the Sofa Company!

We needed a shallower than average sofa (33"). All TSC sofas can be made shallower, deeper, longer, shorter in 2" increments. We had many styles to choose from. Plenty of fabric selections; you can check them out and see them in your own home. I was in several times checking out/returning fabrics, so I met several salespeople. They were all helpful and incredibly knowledgable about their product. I will shop there again and recommend it to anyone looking for any kind of sofa and/or chair.

My fianc? and I just weren?t finding the couch we were looking for to fit our new home. We were looking at all the cheaper places like Macy?s furniture outlet, living spaces sales, etc. There really wasn?t anything we wanted to settle for. I Goggled sofas and found the Sofa Company by accident but I was so happy I did. We walked in, looked around their showroom for a basic model to start from and went from there. They walked us through customizing our own couch for about the same price we would have paid for a couch at the other couch stores that wasn't really exactly what we wanted anyway. For our 121? long couch with chaise, some custom options like a Teflon stain resistant coating and increasing the depth of the couch to make it ridiculously comfy, it came to just over $2,000. I highly recommend the Sofa Co. because of all the perks they offer, including ?greening? your couch, and the freedom to design your own furniture. The staff was amazing, tremendously helpful, honest, and fun!

I'd seen the Sofa Company online and really liked the fact that they are an LA company, so I walked into the store in Old Town Pasadena on impulse. I was still at the browsing stage, and not expecting to have such a helpful shopping experience that I could actually make a purchase of a sleeper sofa so simply! Salesperson Victoria was wonderfully helpful - giving me 'Sofabed 101' and quickly figuring out what I liked or didn't, and pointing me in the directions I needed to go. I never felt any pressure to purchase, just friendly and highly professional staff who were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their compamy's products. Their prices were also very good for the quality - I had been looking at PB and C&B but the Sofa Company was better value.

I have needed a sofa for some time now. I have a friend who recently bought a sofa from The Sofa Company and had a good experience. I started with their online sofa builder, and that helped me a little in narrowing down what sofa I wanted, but in the end, I needed to go to a store. I went to the Pasadena store and was met by friendly and helpful staff. Overall, I am very happy with The Sofa Company's selection and in-store service.

We saw the store ad in the LAT. We had been to other furniture stores and we were particularly impressed with the fact that the sofa would be built locally.
By bringing home the little cards, we were able as a family to narrow it down to a few designs and eventually make the final decision today.
Throughout this long process, Design Consultant Victoria Vascelli was a delight! She remembered us, even if she had not seen us for a week. Victoria offered suggestions and ideas that helped us as we determined what would be best for our room.
We are now looking forward to our new sofa arriving!

After spending months looking for furniture that would fit our hard to please floor plan we finally found the sofa company!!! the awesome thing about this place is that you build your furniture exactly the way you want it, not to mention the options of matching couches with chairs, etc. they had exactly the color i wanted and you can choose the options according to your budget. great service, will definitely go back.

Buying a couch from the Sofa Company was a wonderful experience. We had seen a few of their designs at the LA Green Convention, and really liked what they had on display. A few months later we headed over to Pasadena and we're thrilled with all the other designs to choose from! We decided to go with the Sofa Company because they had so many green options to choose from: Bamboo frames, Organic cotton, and locally made fabrics, Soy cushions, and water based stains! All in all we got exactly what we wanted. The best part was that we never heard the word "NO" Everything was "Yeah, we can do that" We were never limited in our options. Very refreshing:) Thank You Jeannie for a great couch buying experience.

Went to the Sofa Co in Pasadena after stopping in to the Santa Monica location to see what they were all about. Their staff was knowledgeable and friendly, never hesitating to tell me what they thought about certain selections or possible problems which might occur.

Our saleslady was very helpful and patiently waited while my girlfriend and I worked out all of the finer details about our sofa purchase. After explaining everything that we wanted, she went over every last detail, that way there were no mistakes since every piece is custom made.

Plus, this weekend they were offering No Interest until 2011! Can you beat that? We had a great experience at the Sofa Co. I highly recommend it!

The customer service is outstanding. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our selection. We were able to tailor our sofa from the arm shape to the sofa length, to meet our specifications. The staff were very knowledgeable with fabric options, colors, and fill properties, which further enhanced our sofa shopping experience. The prices were beyond reasonable as we shopped big box stores, to boutique furniture stores and the sofa factory was the winner hands down. They deliver quality, and comfort without sacrificing style at a very reasonable price.

We have just moved here from overseas and were looking for something nice that we would be able to bring with us in the future but most importantly would fit with our new fabulous apartment and the shape of our living room. We tried a lot of different stores but we could not really find just the right thing.

Then we came accross The Sofa Company and spoke with Chelsea and we immediately felt that this was the right place offering just the right service and choice of sofa fitting with our budget. Now a short few weeks after tailor making our own personal sofa we have received our bespoke sofa delivered right at the door according to all the specifications that we asked for. The only problem now is the danger of ending up as couch potatoes or messing up the sofa in any other way.

The team at The Sofa Company in Pasadena could not be more service minded and helpful all the way through. We can warmly recomend a visit. Check it out.

me so I vfisited it as I needed either to replace my
sofa or re-upholster my existing one. The two
sales reps who helped me decide were informative and
I was able to reach a decision based on their input.

We had such a hard time trying to find something that fit in our living area, desire of comfort and style. Everywhere we went there was compromising on our end. Finally we got to the Sofa Company and they had the style and comfort we were looking for and they custom made it to the exact size that we needed it-not compromising one bit on our end!! Jeannie-the sofa expert there was great in showing us the different options we and how creative they could be with everything. After our first there we went home and did our homework and came back the next day and placed our order! The biggest bonus for us is that the company is environmentally conscious and that made us feel even better with our buy! We should receive our couch in approx. 3-5 weeks so we'll see how our finished product comes out but I'm sure it'll be everything we imagined!

My wife and I were looking for a sofa to put in our TV room, nothing too fancy but not a piece of junk either. However, the doorways entering the room were far too small for normal sized sofas we found at other places. We were planning to have someone widen one of the doorways, but luckily stopped by the sofa company first.

Not only did they have types of sofas which would fit through the door as is, they would have decreased the height of any sofa we wanted free of charge to make it fit. We just got our couch yesterday and absolutely love it. After a good deal of shopping around we highly recommend the sofa company and will certainly go there first when we need a new couch.

There is a variety of styles one can choose from. You can select one, two or three peace seats. You can also choose the level of firmness and the type material you wish to have the seats and pillows stuffed with. There is also a great selection on fabrics and leathers to compliment the design and to fit your budget. The customer service at the pasadena store was excellent. The make to order and delivery times where very timely.
Overall it was a good experience shopping at the Sofa Company.

It is very hard to find a company that makes furniture that is not laden with chemicals and synthetic fibers. This company offers standards and options that are both eco-friendly and have minimal chemical residues. This store enables you to customize your furniture to fit your living space (add 1,2, or 3 feet to a sofa, or you change the depth, or height of your piece...no problem here), and they have their own local factory so you know it's made in the USA and you know it improves the local economy. They can make your specific furniture needs a reality. Save your time and look here first!!

I wanted really scaled, really simple, really modern, like the furniture I've seen in Canada and Boston.
Almost nothing like in on the Coast outside of Plummers "you get it in one color, one fabric" or very low quality Ikea with cotton covers. I could have this any style, any fabric, any color, narrow arm size, 6 cushions for rotation and maximum wear, I could even raise the height of the seat for comfort! Unimaginable versitility!
You won't believe this place!

More than a sofa store (sofas, chairs, chaizes, tables, recliners). They make their own furniture in LA and have a great selection of fabrics, frames, customizable frames/sizes. Friendly, knowledgable service. Warranty seems good, including teflon add-on (5 year) which might be needed because of the cats! See Victoria or Chad.

What a treat to find a sofa that can be custom made without mortaging the house or cashing a 401k! My husband I have been shopping for months to find just the right furniture for our home. We tried all the big name companies only to find cookie cutter styles, colors and styles. When we did find something we liked the price was outragous! Then we decided to drive 70 miles to The Sofa Factory in Pasadena. There we were greeted by Chad Conner, given a brief introduction in how they manage there store and then left to explore. But as soon as we had questions, there he was to give us all the answers we needed. And he was able to sit down with us to show us the abundant combinations of frabrics to choose from. We had an idea of what we wanted and even pulled a picture up on the internet to show Chad a sample of what we wanted and his immediate response was "We can do that!", the best four words we had heard in a long time and the price? well be got a whole room full of furniture for what some places wanted for just one sofa. Now I can't wait for the final product to arrive, then I write another review!
