I agree with the other users who said this studio has a funk. This studio has an AWFUL FUNK. I don't know how often they clean the carpet, but by mid-class, the place REEKS of sweat odor. With the MERSA issues and other diseases, this can't be sanitary.
I would recommend they get rid of the carpet entirely. The can put grippy strips on the floor for some of the postures, but the rest should be wood.
Also, a word about instructors. I really enjoy two of the instructors there. But one of them is consistently extremely unfriendly to everyone. For a yoga practitioner in a pretty sleepy town (i.e., vs. L.A.), this is unexpected and really aggravating.
Pros: Early morning yoga, some great instructors
Cons: Smelly, seems unhygienic, bitchy instructor

Instructors are energetic. Class sizes are smaller than most of the yoga studios in town. Very clean. I have really enjoyed myself here.
Pros: Smaller Class Sizes, Good Instruction, Clean

I read the earlier reviews after I'd joined this studio. It's great and I've never had a problem with the smell. I heard they recently replaced carpet and painted, so perhaps that fixed it. The instructors are great...very helpful and encouraging. I love it!

all of the instructors i have had at this studio are very knowledgable and helpful. they call you by name and help when they see you are struggling. they are especially kind toward first-timers.
Pros: great instruction, good class size, very friendly

The instructor was fine, but the smell of the studio was awful and intense. Because it was my first Bikram class I thought it was the price of sweating en masse, but other studios do not seem to have the same problem.
Pros: good instruction
