5 Stars: Helping better the comunity (by Bill L.)

I just visited Joe Cheiffo's shop in DE. I'm the owner of Generation 3 Electric in Philadelphia. When I went down there he gave me a tour of a solar panel installation that they were working on. I have to say that is guys and operation was top notch. Very skilled and knowledgeable. Even with all that going on Joe still took the time out to help another electrician learn more about solar power. With rising energy prices that is a skill the in needed in this country. Thank you Joe.

1 Stars: Chieffo Electric is a bunch of crooks (by Unhappy C.)

I called chieffo electric to do a small job at my house. When I made the appointment the woman on the phone said that it would be $49 just for them to come and give an estimate but that fee would be waived if I had the work done that day. This should've been my first clue that this company was planning to rob me blind. I wanted to pull power from an existing light switch to create a new light switch and outlet. The new receptacles were directly behind the old one in the next room. The wall was already all opened up and I supplied the light switch, outlet and had even already fished the wired for the new light through the wall down to where the new outlet would be. The work took about 30 minutes. I was thinking it might be $50 make $100 tops. No, they charged me $250 dollars for that minimal amount of work. They do give you the price before they start but then your only other option is to pay them $49 to have nothing done. If you are on the lookout for an electrician, and you considering this company than please look elsewhere unless you have money to burn.
