Acme Van Lines Corp

I hired these movers on my move to New York, and they did a wonderful job.I would recommend this moving company to my friends and family members. I used them 2x recently. The first time was for my move (local) and the experience I had with them was so great (Larry and his team arrived on time, worked quickly and were courteous) I used them again to help some relatives with their move. The relocation consultant I worked with James was absolutely fantastic. He tried to accommodate all the little details of my move which included trying to coordinate time schedules between buildings (elevator reservation time frames, etc) He worked very hard to make everything work out for us and I was so appreciative. I would not hesitate to recommend this company!

I researched for movers on Google and booked with Packing - Moving - Brooklyn Moving because of the good reviews and their quote was comparable to other quotes I had received. They helped me book the move over the phone and were courteous and responsive when I told them that I wasn't sure whether I would need them or not since I was looking at using family. When I called to confirm the move, they were leaving for the day, but went ahead and put me on the board. They called me promptly the next day to get the rest of the details. The movers arrived on time the day of the move and called me when they were on their way. They were courteous, as well, during the move and paperwork and were all wearing Best Movers DC t-shirts. They wrapped everything in blankets and cellophane, and I could see that they were even trying not to scratch the wood floors at my new place. There was one piece of furniture that didn't fit well where I had asked them to place and they moved it to another room without problem

I recently used Packing - Moving - Brooklyn Moving for my apartment move. The prices were fantastic compared to some of the large interstate movers and well worth the price. The whole experience totally beat a do-it-yourself move. The movers were on time, didnt waste any time, and were very professional. Everything was transported intact. This is the best moving experience I have ever had. Ive tried a mover or two in the past and the experience was nothing compared to this. I have referred this company to a girlfriend and she had the exact same experience.

My friend moved from the Bronx and I have to say that the guys that did the pick up were just great and the delivery guys were even better! I want to thank them for doing a good job and in such short notice. Your estimate was also right on the money! You guys are truly professionals, and I will always recommend you to my family and all my real friends (fake friends get Oz moving) I used them Once and Never Again!
With the rew I had three nice clean cut guys that knew what they were doing and did not try to add all kinds of surcharges and stuff. Eagle van lines is on the top of my list when I move May I'll write how the big move goes.

Hi I would like to say that when I used acme to move me it was one of the best moving experiences I've ever had and I've moved 4 times in the last two years! I wish I used them the last time I moved because the one I moved with was a total disaster!What ever you do do not use Coast to coast they are the worst! Take it from a former client,they were slow and smelly! With the Acme crew I had three nice clean cut guys that knew what they were doing and did not try to drag the hours or add all kinds of extra charges or extra fees, at the end I am very happy how my move was done by and would highly recommend Acme vanlines.

When the movers showed up on time I was already feeling good about hiring Acme.When the movers started taking all our stuff to a big yellow truck, I was impress on how they wrapped all our furniture *no charge!* and carefully loaded everything on the truck in a timely and sufficient manner. I mean these guys were really good and they worked hard and fast but most of all they did it with a good sense of responsibility because of how careful they were. I would love to thank every one at Acme and also City-search which helped in my decision in hiring acme in the first place with all the good reviews on this site. As a single mom in Ny it's hard to find such honest MEN.....

I was almost fooled with some bad reviews but I choose to use Acme and I was more than please these guys did a great job and were very professional ,careful,really experienced and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. I will be using them again if I will need to move again.That said I would recommend them highly because this is a great team that Acme has and the customer service is the best to deal with. Use them and you will be on here to writing a good review just like me,Thanks Acme

When I first called Acme I spoke to Hector and he was very helpful and opened my eyes to a lot of ways to save money on my move,that was like a first! But with all his suggestions and honesty I ended up saving about 300.00 dollars and the guys that came to move me were all good hard working men.I would use them again with no hesitation and would highly recommend them. I was very pleased and thought that every thing was handled with a lot of experience and professionalism just like Hector promised me. Thank you Acme van lines!!!

I used Acme to do my move from Queens to Fl and they did a superb job and they got it all to Fl as promised. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.I would use them again if I needed to move again because I've moved a few times and this was the best experience I've ever had with any mover. Acme is one of the best out there and you can email me to see that I am really Pleased with this great company and that I am a real client. I picked them because of their professionalism and the referrals that I contacted (thanks MrsB) They did just great.

This company is very very very bad.They are very good talker,they say they are professional and when they come to pick up your things all they thing is finish it and go. The last thing they care is caring for your furniture,they dont use enough of blankets or material you paid for and they saying they would take care of it in the storage. They day they delivered it was missing items and damage that I dont know if their insurance would cover. What they made me sign for was only 60 C per Pound which is nothing. They did not deliver my plasma screen and put Void in their copy which I took them to court. You really dont want to deal with this guys. As the other writer said I dont think normal customers are happy with these guys and all the good comments are false and only from their own company for the marketing. If they leave a number to call or send you prove of their agreement- that counts otherwise everyone can open an email and write good about themselves. No one would know right? I tell you the truth experience I had with this company. They are just piece of CRAP. Now your choice!! Choose wisely, if you want to destroy your furniture plus your peace of mind go for it.

This guys are fraud, all the good comments you read in ere is from their own employees to market themselves. I lost all my furniture plus 42 days delay on my delivery. They were really nice on the phone but when they came to pick up my things they asked for three times more saying you didnt tell us about all the furniture . They stole everything and even insurance couldnt help them. They create fals documents and simply dodnt deliver on time or not deliver at all. They stole $18000 from me and I am helping FBI to close down their business. DO NOT trust every review in here. When you see their business is closed down you relised what I am saying to you. Stay Away from these people. Email me I show you all the docs from DOT and General Attorny's office.

the guys that came to move me and my sister were a bunch of hot guys!! all married though =( but they did a great job and moved all our things with care and they were fast!I would use them again if I were to move. Acme Van Lines is a great moving company!!

WHEN I USED ACME VAN LINES I WAS EXPECTING A DISASTER,LIKE MY LAST MOVE.BUT THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND MOVED ME WITH SUCH AN EASE THAT I WAS GLAD I CHOSE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.I HAD THREE GUYS COME AND I MUST SAY LEON,DONELLE AND RAY WERE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH AND THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. When we called the number it was clear that we had a professional company on the line,I spoke with the sales rep for over 20 minutes and by the end of the conversation he had my deposit.we were happy to see a great team of guys showed up on time and and with all the right equipment to get us out of the building.They did a great job and they did it fast.over all it was really not that pricey but I could of get someone else for at least $15.00 an hour less,when you think about it it was well worth the extra 15 an hour as they did a fantastic job and I would use them again if I need to move again.

It was a pleasure to see these guys last weekend at my door at 8 am sharp! They were very nice looking guys and they all had a great disposition.I was very happy with their services and would highly recommend them.Thanks again Anthony,Camble and Abe,You guys were very good, and let me not forget the man that brought it all together for me Hector,you kept your promise ,and so am I. WE GOT STOOD UP BY ANOTHER MOVER,BUT ACME WAS THERE 4 HOURS AFTER I GOT A HOLD OF THEM.THEY ALSO DID A GREAT JOB AND I WOULD ONLY USE ACME VANLINES FROM NOW ON!!!

When we searched on line for movers this company kept standing out to my wife,so we decided to call them and spoke to a very pleasant fellow there that certainly put our minds at ease. On the actual move day they showed up on time and uniformed and so ready to go! They actually took less time than we thought it would of taken.At the end of the move they even took all the plastic saran wrap that they covered our furniture with,these guys are good and they do not try to pump up your bill with all these extra charges we have heard about.I sincerely give them 6 stars because they deserve more. The tip was small because of our fixed income but the guys excepted it graciously and acted as we gave them 50.00 each!!You need to move you need Acme vanlines.

When they got to my door all bright eyed and uniformed I was impressed,when the next hour and a half we were on our way to the new place in Bklyn I was impressed when they off loaded and had us in on a forth floor walk up in like less than an hour I was impressed, When they gave me my bill I was impressed that it was lower than the estimate I got off Hector that came to see everything and give me the quote (nice guy) These guys were fast friendly and just a great team of men that did our move. I would recommend them to my Moms and all my friends! ACME VAN LINES is the best in Brooklyn right now!

As a professional I was very pleased with the men that serviced our move.We had a four man crew that frankly knew exactly what to do from the minute they walked in. It was like a movie Slam bam move us man!! but it was a great experience and they were a great bunch of guys. We have to thank Hector and his teams

when you need to hire movers you have to do alot of research and hopefully you will get a good company to move you.We were lucky, we went on all kinds of sites looking at reviews and getting as much information on any company.We finally settled on three and all of them were in pretty good but for some reason acme vanlines put in a little extra effort in their sales pitch and we decided to go with them.We were very lucky! These guys did every thing for us moving out and did much more for us moving all our stuff in. There was one broken mirror but I had been the one that brought it down from the attic and I was the one that broke it. So they did not let me do any more work no matter how much I insisted.My boyfriend was very pleased as well and since I was the one that found Acme on line I only had to pay the tip (he paid everything else) and these guys deserved at least $50.00 each (which I did 3 men here in NYC and 3 men in Atlanta GA) But over all it was money very well spent! Thank you Acme van lines your company is really a great company and I will recommend you as well as my Boyfriend will also the move was done just like you promissed , stress free and 3 to 5 days!! (smile) thanks

This was the second time I've moved in the city and the last movers were good but not this good the guys ACME sent me were truly experienced and trained movers.I was very happy with the way my move was all done, I would use ACME again and I would highly recommend them.

We moved to NYC from CA and Acme did the job for me They did a great job and everything got here in one piece.I would use them again and certainly recommend them.

I was given Acme vanlines number by a friend and when I spoke with their representative I was hooked from the moment I heard his voice.He was so kind and answered all my questions by the end of the phone call I was sure I had called the right place.On the day of the move I knew I did! They showed up on time (smelling good) and ready to move me.They did it really quick and when I realized that it was time to let them go cause they were finished, I felt like I was gonna miss these guys (weird?) tell me about it but the movers were so good they sorta bonded with me ,ha ha,like I am that easy to get along with but yes Acme vanlines and their team of men are the best in my book!

I HAD USED MY FRIENDS AND A RENTAL ALWAYS IN THE PAST BUT I HAVE SO MUCH STUFF NOW I HAD TO HIRE MOVERS.WHEN THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME I KNEW WE WERE OFF TO A GOOD START,WHEN THEY FINISH LOADING I NEW I HAD MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. When I picked acme van lines it was the best decision I've made in a long time (my wife does all our decisions) Still I put my foot down and I picked ACME. Me I picked them REMEMBER THAT!!! they are great ,and i picked them,they did the best job ever and I picked them.You moving? call this company ACME VAN LINES " BECAUSE I PICKED THEM!"

But when our moving day came, we were met at our door by a team of uniformed movers and boy were they ready to go.The foreman that ran our job was like a dictator ,but he certainly got the team "moving! They did a superb job, with no damages or any kind of malfunctions! Clothing our otherwise!! Kudos Acme Van Lines (smile) I will tell all my sisters about your wonderful company and how respectful (no matter what) You Know? They really did a good job and deserve much kudos, this is with out a single doubt one of the best out there (and boy there are a lot) =)

I was given their number by a friend and I'm glad I used them.At first I was gonna rent a truck and do it with a few of my boys but you know it would of been more expensive and I would of have to lift and load my shit.I be lazy when it comes to stuff like that.Hence acme van lines.they did a good job and charged me what they said it would be (no extra charges here and there) The group that moved me was just friggin good man!

Guys were done with my move sooner than we thought and they did it with such care I swore they were moving their own mother.Everyone of my crew of three men worked and worked hard,no slackers there! Professional guys are so cool to watch bring in an over stuffed sofa in a door way that you would never think it possible.But they did it (no tares or rips) Acme Van Lines is the best simply the best!!

When I first called it was clear that this was a professional company I was hiring.When they showed up (uniformed) and with their own truck ( with logo ) I knew I had the right company.They did my job so quickly and professionally I had to write this review.If you need movers get ACME VAN LINES and you will be JUST another satisfied customer. I hired Acme Vanlines to move my items fron Nyc-Nyc and they got the job done quickly proffesionally. There were no surprises because they gave us a flat rate up front. The movers were curtious professional and very friendly. If I were to move again Acme would be my Number one choice Overall i would give the move a 5 star rating.
