I have been tattooing my eyebrows for a number of years. The first practitioner I had did a beautiful job, by hand. Unfortunately she soon left this profession to become a nurse. Additionally, since my hair was red at the time, she had added a bit too much red into the color. \r

When she disappeared I searched for someone else. The second practitioner kept changing the shape of my brows without asking me or consulting with me. She also made them too thick and wide and they had different shapes, and one ended in a different place from the other. Also I had to have touch ups much too often. So I was quite upset and gain looked for someone else.\r
\r
When I found Pigmenta Julia spent a long time consulting with me and explaining that to do these brows properly and be able to establish a new shaping that would complement my features, I would need to remove the old dye. She laid the process and timing out for me and explained that she could absolutely fix it, that she had done it many times before but that I needed to be a bit patient. \r
\r
I was so delighted so know that she could fix it, and seeing her work, I could see how much I had to look forward too. She got rid of all the excessive width and the old red color that was below. After 6 months (during which time I used mineral powder on my brows and no one ever said a word about it!) she put in the new brows. It was well worth the wait.\r

Julia always discussed with me before doing anything. I have complete trust in her not only as an artist but as a person. I now have beautifully shaped brows in a natural looking color. Im so glad that I found Pigmenta!\r

I have been penciling my brows since I was 14 years old. Ever since I could remember, my brows has always been super light and fine, even though my natural hair color is black. So you see all this dark hair and when you see my face it looks like I have no eye brows. That was how light my brows were. I never pluck or shave it either. So it wasnt because of those reasons I didnt have brows. It was just how I grew up.

For the next 15+ years of my life I pencil in my brows. Dont get me wrong, Ive always thought about tattooing it but seeing a lot of older women I knew (my mother included) it didnt look so great as the years went on. Their brows changed colors, like a greenish-bluish; the original shape they had were no longer there, instead the tattoo began to bleed. When I say bleed I dont literally mean blood but the colors and shape loses it shape and is not defined. It looks messy. Seeing this on my mother and aunts around me I was always apprehensive in going thru with it myself for I didnt want my own brows to be looking like theirs as I age. I rather pencil than have the same effect they had. Knowing all of that, I still wasnt satisfied with just drawing. It didnt take me long or anything. Ive done it for so long that it just took me a minute.

I wasnt satisfied because I hated worrying every single moment if my brows was still there. People around me who I felt comfortable with I would always ask them if my eyebrows was still in place. I always fear it would smudge when someone hugged me too tight and their head might bump the side of my face and in turn, smudge off my brows. No matter how hot I get in the summer I can never rub my face, because why??? It would rub off my pencil in brows. Going to the beach I try not to get my face wet because then that would mean I would have to wipe my face. Thats a no-no. There are many reasons why I wasnt satisfied with penciling in. It was so inconvenient. I should be able to just go do things without always worrying about my brows right?

So I did my own research. I took my time looking for something that would guarantee I would not be looking like my mother brows as I age. I also didnt want it to look like a tattoo. I want mine looking natural like I actually have hair. I ended up finding JULIA BOWERS. Shes the BEST!!! I absolutely LOVE her! Her methods are wonderful and beautiful.

The day of my appointment with her I was very nervous. Once I met her and her staff they eased it all away. They were so nice and answer everything I needed. My brows came out beautifully. My family and friends who saw my brows for the first time always told me that it looks great and natural. They loved it too.

Im about to go back for a touch up. You probably wondering why it took me so long to write a review. The reason was shortly after that I became very ill and had multiple surgeries. Last year was a very hard year for me and I can honestly say having my brows helped me from feeling insecure with everything I was going thru and look. It was nice not to worry about my brows. Something so little can help tremendously. Julia gave me confidence with the brows while I fought to get better with my health. I love her. She truly doesnt know how much her work effect people. I am so thankful. Thank you Julia.

I always had difficulty applying eye liner. I am more than satisfied with my experience at Pigmenta. It was a very positive experience for me. I had no idea what to expect only that I wanted to have permanent eyeliner. No more smudging with application or during the day. I have gotten so many compliments. I recommend Julia to everyone. I met Julie and Carolee last month with the issue of penciling my eyebrows for the past LONG years! All I can say now is that I can do all the normal things (swim, wipe my face at the gym) that everyone can do. This has been one of the greatest investments for me so far in 2012. Over a month ago, I came to Julia for brows. The first time I saw her, she was nice and informative and my brows looked great. Some weeks later, I went back in for a touch up and had a different experience. My brows did not hold the color and Julia seemed to be annoyed by my questions and concerns. She wasn't so nice the second time around!

I have tried calling Pigmenta several times since my first touch up to fix more spots that did not hold color, after-all it is my face and I would like to look in the mirror and be happy with my investment. It has been a month of leaving messages, and have not received a return call.

I was hoping for a better experience from a company that comes so highly recommended. Obviously, Pigmenta needs to brush up on how they treat their customers and providing quality customer service!

I had the eyebrow permanent makeup done here and I couldn't be happier. The results are so realistic, no one will notice that it's not real eyebrow hair. Highly recommend Julia (unless you love filling in your eyebrows every morning, and everytime you go for a swim, and every time you workout...ha ha).

I have been going back to Julia for about 2 years now for an eyebrow boost and she is heaven sent. When I went to her in 2010, I had no eyebrows. I used eyeliner pencial to literally fill in my eyebrows because they were so thin. I was tired of ""drawing my eyebrows"" and wanted something that was permanent that wouldn't wipe away when I sweat or wash my face. I came across her website and fell in love with her instantly. She knew exactly what my natural eyebrow should look like. The first time I got them done I was almost in tears. I faithly go back every year to get a boost because the color does fade but it is so well worth it.

Last Saturday I made an appointment to get my lashes refilled at Skin Serenity in Haverhill, MA.
Once I arrived, I was told that Julia was running late. I waited for over an hour for her to see me. I was so annoyed!! I had another appointment that I needed to get to after that one, and ended up having to cancel it, which was very inconvenient.

I have been going to Julia for lashes for sometime now and she runs late more times then not. It's starting to become frustrating, especially when her services are not cheap!

It might be time to find a new lash lady!

I had my eyebrows done many years ago by someone else. That person did them way to dark and thick and I had to live with these hideous brows for a long time until I found Julia! She removed my old color and now they are normal again and I don't have to cover them up anymore. It was a long process but so worth it because I now don't have to worry about them anymore. Thanks Julia for the good work, you gave me my confidence back.

I went for a full set of lashes from Julia. I have gone many times before and never had an issue until the last time. Usually she uses comfy gel pads to separate the bottom lashes from the top lashes so they don't get glued together. This time, she ran out of the pads and decided to use medical tape. When she was finished with applying the lashes, she pulled the tape off and a few of my bottom lashes along with it. It hurt and now I have missing bottom lashes! Not a good look.

In my opinion, Julia should have made sure she had the proper amount of supplies on hand at the start of her day so clients are not subject to unnecessary pain!

For the amount of money charged for Julia's services, I expected my brows to last more than a few months. The day Julia did my brows, she was running behind and literally did my brows in 10 minutes. I felt like she rushed and did not do her best work because she was flustered about the waiting room filled with clients. I won't be going back to Julia.

On a good note, Carolee is such a sweet heart! She is informative and is very professional. Julia is lucky to have her.

I was slightly nervous about having eye liner applied but have always wanted it. Julia was incredibly informative, talking me through every step of the procedure. I found that it did not hurt and the only awkwardness was driving home because my vision was slightly blurred from the numbing gel. An easy price to pay for anyone who wants the ease of waking up and virtually walking out the door. Thanks Julia!

I just had my eyebrows done by Julia about a month ago. She was total y professional. I felt extremely comfortable and for the first time in years I don't have to worry about penciling in my eyebrows ever time I leave the house. Last week i went to Cancun and for the first time ever I could go to the beach or in the water and sun and not have to worry if my eyebrows were still there. It is truly amazing. I would recommend Julia's work to everyone

I am a man who has alopecia. I have no hair on my head, but for the last thirty years or so I have been able to keep my eyebrows. Until last spring, my right eyebrow began to fall out. Several months later my right brow was gone altogether! This was pretty embarassing for me. Walking around with only one eyebrow!\r

I have been very reluctant to get a tatoo eyebrow and I have heard every horror story out there about very bad eyebrow tatoos! Having no hair on my head, I couldn't simply cover a bad tatoo with my bangs!!! I needed someone who could make my eyebrow perfect! one that could perfectly match the tatoo eyebrow to my real left brow. Julia is that person :-)\r

Julie, just love what you did to my lips, the shape is so much better than before with natural color. I mainly use lip balm and lip gloss, only lipstick for evening or special events. So glad you mentioned trying the blended lipliner procedure before any injections. It really works and I would recommend this to any person who is not pleased with the lip shape they were born with. I did not fine it painful at all. You are a perfectionist and it shows with your work. Thanks again.\r

Julia is a genius and is absolutely wonderful with everything she does. For my entire life I was always so self-conscious about my eyebrows because they were only about 2/3 of what they should have been. Everyday for the last 10 years I have been drawing them only to look in the mirror several hours later and one of my eyebrows would be smudged and look ridiculous. I was so worried about going to the gym or to the beach and not wearing my eyebrows. I met with several permanent cosmetics artists before finding Julia. Once I met Julia I knew that she would be the one to do my eyebrows. From the first moment I called everything just felt right. I spoke to Carolee, who walked me through the entire process and was very patient. I learned more from speaking to her than both of the other appointments I had at the other permanent cosmetic offices. Then I met Julia, she was so different than the other artists I had been to. Instead of telling me what I had to do to my eyebrows she took the time to really understand what I wanted to do and how I wanted them to look. She did an incredible job and I could not be happier. My confidence is so much higher now and I would recommend Julia and Carolee to anyone looking for this service. Several months after I did my eyebrows I decided I would love to try the top and bottom eyeliner. Before deciding that I definitely wanted to do it I made sure to call Carolee to completely understand the process. She did a wonderful job explaining everything to me and from talking to her I knew I wanted to get them done. Julia did a wonderful job and they look perfect. Her work is so natural and beautiful that no one would notice that you have a tattoo. I was so happy with all my work that I started telling all my friends and family. I just got my eyebrows done about a month now and I am so happy for my new result. Because of Julia Bowers I am not afraid of showing my face in public. I have family and friends that had their eyebrows tattoo and after a few years it faded to purple when it suppose to be the right color that matches their skin tone and hair color. My eyebrows grew unevenly and have no shape at all, but with Julia she knows what best for your look. You won't even believe what it will look like after she finished. Now I don't have to worry about going to the salon every month to get them wax. I love her work and hopefully you will too.

It all started about fifteen years ago. A family friend did permanent eyebrow tattooing on my face. It came out awful. One eyebrow high and one down low. I know that no two eyebrows are exactly symmetrical but I looked downright foolish. To add insult to injury, I have black hair and the eyebrows were bluish green. I looked and felt ridiculous.

About five years ago I had enough. I looked into having the ugly eyebrows taken off by laser removal. I was told that in order to save what little natural eyebrow hair I did have left that I would have to have my eyebrow hair waxed off first. Thankfully the laser removal worked.

But then began the tedious task of drawing in my eyebrows everyday. For someone who is a makeup minimalist this process tripled my time to get ready. And to make matters worse my eyebrows looked fake and different every day. I tried all types of products and makeup. None of these things helped.

Finally one day while looking online I stumbled upon the Pigmenta Cosmetics site. After some procrastination I decided to make a call. Carol lee, Julia's receptionist could not have been more professional or kind. She listened to my story and assured me that Julia would be able to help me.

When I arrived at my appointment, Julia and her staff were able to put me at ease immediately. Julia explained the whole process before any work was done. And she was extremely patient and understanding about my concerns.

The results were truly amazing!! I am so happy with the way my eyebrows look now. They are natural looking and are the correct shade! I can't tell you what a difference it makes!! Now, I can just jump out of bed and go!! No more penciling in eyebrows and being fearful of them smudging off!!

My only regret, like many clients before me is that I didn't go to see Julia sooner!!

Let me tell you how Julia/Pigmenta helped me get my life back.\r

I am a 42 year old father, business owner, former college athlete. But since the age of about 12, Ive suffered from a condition that resulted in the loss of almost all of my eyebrows. Yes, it sucks.\r

It wasnt until the last 15 years or so that it got so bad I had to conceal my condition with make-up. That wasnt the worst part: because of the make-up (and what it looked like underneath), I was obsessed with making sure I didnt smudge/smear/wipe off my fake brows. Being an active person who likes to work out, swim, etc., my condition had taken away big and important parts of my life. I was really unhappy and did not know what to do. Then I found Julia.\r

Let me first start at the beginning: Carolee Brown. Carolee is Julias Service Manager and was just perfect throughout the process. In the beginning, I was embarrassed by my condition and uncertain about what to expect. Carolee made everything easy from beginning to end. \r

My procedure (semi-permanent tattooed eyebrows) took 2 sessionsthe first was about 45 minutes and the second was about 25 minutes. Julia was patient, professional and clearly an artist when it comes to this stuff. She spent as much time as was needed to get it right. The end result: amazingly natural looking eyebrows. (note: for the first couple of weeks, my wife would just stare at me saying I cant believe how real and natural they look!)\r

I just wanted everyone to know what an amazing job Julia did with my botched permanent eyeliner....Several years ago, I had my eyeliner done in blue, and it came out VERY BLUE.....And I basically HATED it....Finally, I found Julia, and she was able to lift the color in one visit, and go over it in a very subtle brown black....
I CRAVE the results...
She is a master artist....i feel so lucky to have found her...
I don't feel embarrassed by my eyeliner any more...
In fact, I actually love the way my eyes look now...

I just wanna share with everyone.. I'm 35 years old and have alopecia areata and for years tried everything.. I couldn't leave the house, answer the door, go swimming, or enjoy every day life because my eyebrows would rub off. My dermatologist said don't get a tattoo... easy to say when your not in the same shoes.... I found Julia online after years of researching and it's almost to good to be true.. I love my eyebrows my dermatologist was shocked my family too. I have ten brothers and sisters who all have opinions.. and are amazed at how happy i am... this isn't like those blue looking tattoos you might have seen.. the technique Julia uses looks like real hair I wish i would have found her sooner.. Truly I share tears of joy while a write this because I am so happy and cannot thank Julia and her staff enough..

I had Julia do my eyeliner 3 years ago and loved it. Since then I had been contemplating having my eyebrows done. I was so tired of trying to pencil in eyebrows that where no longer there! I was nervous about committing to this though.
I finally had it done a month ago. I love them!! I am only sorry that it took me so long to decide!

Julia does such a wonderful job. I spent many years frustrated with my eyebrows. I essentially had none and spent far too much time drawing them on, only to have them look very fake. I also spent a lot of money on pencils that were the wrong color.\r
Now that Julia has created brows for me I am thrilled. I don't have to worry about them smudging when my boyfriend touches my face. It was horrible and embarassing to wake up in the morning and find one on my pillow or on my boyfriends cheek! It is so nice to get out of the shower with eyebrows. Julia has a very nice touch and they look very natural!\r

I am thrilled with my eyeliner! I am an outdoorsy girl and am often not able to wear makeup because of outdoor sports, camping ect. Just having a little eye definition makes me feel prettier without looking madeup. Julia did exactly what I wanted her to do and it looks great!

Thats the work skillfully performed by Julia Bowers! I have had alopecia universalis for the past 12 years. It was very devastating at first. Eventually you adjust to wearing a wig, which are really pretty nice these days. However, not having eyelashes and eyebrows was even more difficult. Every morning I would have to apply eyelashes and paint eyeliner and eyebrows and hope it would last the day without smudging!\r

Thanks to my sister and after reading all the great reviews about Julia, I felt very confident about having Julia tattoo eyebrows and eyeliner. Julia and her Service Manager, Carolee, make you feel extremely comfortable. And the outcome is TRULY AMAZING!! The eyebrows look very natural because Julia uses small brush strokes. She is a gifted artist and I just LOVE the outcome. I wish I had found Julia 12 years ago! No more worrying about summer heat, swimming or just accidentally scratching near my eye!! I have never been able to get ready so fast. I had my eyebrows done with permanent makeup by Julia and I LOVE THEM!! In the summer it was so difficult to use a eyebrow or eyeliner pencil to draw eyebrows on that it was a constant frustration. Now I can get up and go. It was next to painless and Julia makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. I wish i did this years ago!! Thanks for everything Julia!!

I'm so happy to have found Julia after 2 years of researching eye brows tattoos. I suffer from Trichotillomania since my youth. Since the hair never grew back I have been using charcoal gray eye pencil over my brows for over 10 dreadful years which is very time consuming in the morning.

I was a little nervous meeting with her, but there is an aura about her--I became relaxed within minutes. She explained how it is done and she put brown eye brow pencil on my brows first before using the pigment. She turned my round brows into sexy arched brows and I immediately approved! I am very happy with the result and I will definitely come back again for touch ups. Thank you Julia for boosting my self-esteem. Now I'm ready to face the world!

After 3 decades of hesitating, I finally had my eyebrows and eyeliners done by Julia and my only regret is that I did not have it done 30 years ago. I have been extremely cautious about anyone touching my face, so I did an extensive research and interviewed several permanent make up artists before deciding on Julia. Even then I was very skeptical but the minute I met Julia, all of my fears and doubts vanished. Julia took time to listen and explained the procedure in detail which put me at ease.

I had the eyebrows done first. The procedure was rather simple and the results were so profound that I was actually looking forward to getting my eyeliners done. My eyes are slightly different sizes and to make the matters more complicated, my eyelids folds differently. But Julia worked tirelessly and made them look even.

The result is so natural I still can not believe I have a permanent make up done. I used to dread putting eye makeup every morning and worry about unsightly smudges and running streaks all the time. Now I just put on a lip balm and I am ready for the day. It has not only freed up my time but also gave me a sense of freedom; to laugh hard, to cry, to swim or sweat without worrying about smudges.

We stumbled upon Julia , perchance. My 15 year old teenage daughter had overplucked her eyebrows and she was utterly devastated. She was filling them in but after sport, would find herself looking at brows that were no longer there. I happened to do a search for waterproof makeup and uncovered this sight and within hours had an appointment (because of a cancellation). \r
I had no reservations after reading these reviews and yet I had never heard of permanent makeup. \r
We were met by the wonderful office manager Carolee Brown and were kindly told that Julia does not cater to teenagers but that she would make that judgement call after meeting my child. It was clear to Julia that my daughter was mature and understanding of the process and she embraced her and began her artistry. A few months after this gift of tatoo and threading, my child has her gorgeous eyebrows back. They have grown into the beautiful shape that Julia helped create and the tatood hairs blend in just perfectly. We may need a little touch up in the summer but how exquisite and natural the end result is. My daughter is eternally grateful. \r
While we were there, I spoke with Julia about my life with an auto-immune disease that had left the right side of my face drooping. It did not bother me for I am so able to be grateful for days and do not concern myself with aesthetic. My child suggested that Julia shape my eyebrows, which were thick and unruly in parts, having grown back in an arbitrary way post-chemotherapy. Julia gave my eyebrows a magnificent shape but here is the miracle that followed. For weeks after her threading, I was able to see my eyebrows in the mirror as I brushed my teeth. I tried day after day to invite my brain to connect to those muscles that control the movement of eyebrows, exercises that neurology had attempted to teach me. \r
Slowly I began to be able to use some facial muscles again. It took extreme patience but I perservered. Could I pull the right eyebrow to allign somewhat with the left? Did Julia gift me the premise for healing because I now had a visual cue? Yes indeed she did (my disease has rendered me with cognitive difficulties and I learn through visual patterns). Now I am able to move the right side of my face and my eyebrows are my spacial reference. \r
My gift that day was a reminder that in life, there are truly people whose vocation is to share joy and where kindness is the language and ethic for practice. Julia is a master of her craft and kudos to her dear assistant Carolee for genuine heart and professional graciousness. \r

Having lost my eyebrows to Alopecia, I've spent the last 2-3 years applying eyebrows before I would leave the house each morning. Work or weekend. Minimum 1/2 hour to use template to apply make-up base, use brow pencil to set outline with strokes, finish off with powder to fill, lightly brush so they didn't look caked on. And then there were the days when one would really be crooked and I'd have to start over again...and the very hot days when they would just melt down my face.
I started to look into permanent make-up a year or so ago, and until I found Julia, had not seen any work that I wanted on my face. Light skin and hair, ash tones - I wanted subtle. When I found Julia's portfolio samples online, I knew I had found the right person do my eyebrows (and I decided to do the top eyelash enhancer as my lashes had thinned).
I am 1 month into having a face again, just had my booster session and couldn't be happier. I wake up and am not reluctant to look in a mirror - I leave the house confident that I look normal, knowing I won't inadvertently rub brows off during the day. The natural brow line is nicer than I've had for many years! The very few sporadic hairs that still exist give the whole look total believability. The eyelash enhancer is a special extra perk that I gave myself & am very glad I included it! I'm only sorry I didn't this sooner. Julia is an amazingly sensitive artist, following natural brow line and working with skin tone for compatible palette. Carolee has been most supportive and helpful with even the smallest questions.

I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done by Julia about 7 months ago and it looks amazing! She corrected and outlined them for me and they look just perfect. Nobody could tell I had tatoo on my face, it looked like light brown pencil on my eyebrows (looks very natural, like my own eyebrow), and like black liquid eyeliner on my eyelids.
So it's been 7 months and it started to fade a little but still clearly visible. I would definitely go for the touch in 4-5 months, I like it very much! Thank you, Julia!

I have had Alopecia for about 2 years now, being a young woman this has been a constant struggle for me to actually feel like ""me"" every day is different, makeup for me always took forever because i have to draw my whole face on and once everything is done i have to just hope nothing smudges how embarrassing. I just got my eyebrows done and the only thing i can say is that i was so happy i cried it was so nice to just feel normal that is how natural they look it was just an amazing experience and i would recommend this to anyone thinking about having permanent makeup done. Julia is just a genuinely kind and compassionate person she didnt make me feel uncomfortable at all she is just an unbelievable artist, Carolee was also wonderful she was warm and easy to talk to she really helped me make up my mind about getting them done and im so glad i did! I feel liberated! Julia created eyebrows on my eyebrow and eyelash free face. I have Alopecia Universalis, a hair loss condition, which caused all of my hair to fall out six years ago. It is an autoimmune condition so I have had some hope over the years that my hair would return. My face without makeup looks like a person who has been in chemotherapy since no lashes or eyebrows exist. Fortunately my story is not about a killing disease but one of cosmetic deprivation. I wear a wig and now I have semi-permanent eyebrows which look so real that my face in the mirror is much happier and healthy looking without applying makeup.\r

Julia is incredible!
I was skeptical at first until my daughter had her eyeliner done by Julia. I went and had my upper liner done and couldn't get back there fast enough to have the lower liner done. Since then I have gone back and had my lip liner done. I love it!!! I have also had Julia perm and tint my lashes. I have also tried lash extensions. Love it love it! It all looks so natural. What a great feeling to hop out of bed, put some lip gloss on, and your good to go. I enjoy it in the summer at the beach, pool, vacation it is great to swim and still have your make-up on you always look great. It fun at the beach when people ask how do you swim and keep your make up on? Haha should I tell them? I always do its not fair to keep something so good a secret. Three of my girlfriends have had their liner done and love it.
Julia is not only extremely talented, she is professional, all of her tools are clean and sterile, she always makes you feel comfortable. Julia has a wonderful personality that keeps you going back. So if you are thinking about having the liner done or any of her other services go for it you won't regret it.

I came across Julia Bowers from Pigmenta USA on the internet. I was impressed with the natural results I saw in the before and after photos. I booked a consult for my teenage daughter who is very fair, blonde and blue eyed. She had overplucked her brows so much in the last couple of years, they were close to non-existent. She was using a liner and shadow to fill them in and it would wear off during sports and swimming with friends. She was very self-conscious and stressed about this. When we met Julia, we were struck by her compassionate nature. She spoke in depth about how she could help give her the natural look she wanted and never judged her. She practiced first with shape and color so we knew what it was going to look like in the end. My daughter also has very light colored lashes and Julia explained ""lash enhancement"" which she did that day for my daughter also. It made a world of difference. Julia stopped to show us when she had finished one eye. The results were nothing short of amazing. As she worked on my daughter, I began to see her face and eyes come to life again. Julia is a talented artist whose work is very realistic and worth every penny. She truly cares about her clients and wants them to be 100% happy with their results. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking to literally change their lives. My daughter is thrilled with the beautiful, natural results, not to mention the time shes saves in the morning! I have been battling severe hair loss/eyebrow loss for the past few years. I am a female and in my twenties so one can imagine how debilitating it is to your self esteem and self image to have little hair. I first have to say that Julia is a phenomenal artist and permanent makeup professional. I have seen countless clients of hers first hand who have had amazing results.\r
My personal experience with Julia came about after I had another ""artist""give me permanent eyeliner on my upper lid. The woman slipped and left a large line in the middle of my lower lid which stuck out like a sore thumb. She tried to remove it 3 times without any success. Julia came to the rescue and removed it with only one visit!\r
I am so thankful that I met Julia and would without any hesitation refer her to anyone interested in permanent makeup.

I recently had eyebrows permenant make up by Julia Bowers and I love it. She is an artist. I had two problems that are now completely solved:

- I had a scar from the childhood on one of my eyebrows that I had to fill in every morning with regular make up: After I went to see Julia, the scar has disapeared!!! Magic! I wake up in the morning completely free with no stress of doing the scar camouflage any longer!

- I had a shaping problem with my eyebrows and they were NEVER even, no matter how I put make up on them. I hated all my pictures because of this difference. Julia started by giving my eyebrows a shape so now I love my pictures!

Not to mention that she is very friendly and patient and her works looks completely naturel.

I was given the opportunity to have permanent eyeliner done. I was referred to Julia of Pigmenta and met with her. She understood I was a bit nervous and took the time to talk with me about what I was looking to achieve. She was very understanding and listened to my needs and produced the most amazing looking eyeliner I described to a T. She has a talent in not only her work but her ability to listen to her clients. I recently had permanent makeup to my brows by Julia and I love it. I had wanted to have this done for a long time, but kept hesitating until I happened on Julia's website and saw her beautiful, very natural work. She matched the color of my sparse brows exactly, and used fine little hair strokes to fill in and extend my brows; no flat tattoo look at all! I suffer from OCD which means I obsess about certain things and make up was a big issue for me. I am obsessed with appearance and struggled daily, often not even leaving my home because I didn't look ""right"". My eyeliner had to be perfect and was difficult to get perfectly done. It literally took me hours to get my face right enough to go somewhere. I'd lived like this since 1978. In 2009 I heard about permanent eyeliner! I was thrilled but terrified. I researched everything about it and everywhere to get it done. After several serious interviews with people who do this I found Juli. She was so professional, caring, reassuring, precise, etc. etc. I finally found the only person I would let try to attempt to deal with my extremely high standards. I THANK GOD LITERALLY EVERY DAY FOR JULI!! With her support I hesitantly gave in to never having to deal with my aggravation and stress of OCD perfect eyes again. I was scared and I told my family as I left ""Mommy may come home blind tonight"". Juli was so totally awesome at reassuring me and making me feel comfortable about everything. I got my eyes upper and lower done and get ready for this Miss Picky even got my lips done! I wanted both my eyes and lips done but was more in it for the eyes. Juli really took the time to be certain my lips were actually some thing I desired. I did! But I was picky and wanted a natural shade I did not want it to look like I had lipstick just applied coming out of the ocean... She matched the next shade of color up from my lips and did the most amazing job one could imagine. I shove my face right into others and ask ""Do you like my tattoo""? They look at me like I'm crazy. I then say ""seriously my face is tattooed on"" then I look really nuts till I explain that I had permanent makeup work done and point out where. I've had nothing but positive feedback. I love telling everyone as this has made such a big improvement for my life. I will enjoy the rest of it without staring in the mirror repeatedly to see if I look o.k. How much time do you waste on obsessing about your appearance? The amount of time I spent is countless. I can enjoy more time with my child and feel good about how I look. God Bless you Juli, you truly are an artist. I can't thank you enough for this!!!

Julia is absolutely amazing! The permanent make- up she applies is perfect! You look great afterwards and she really makes you feel calm and comfortable during and after the procedures! My sister and I both have had our eyeliner done by Julia and love it. It takes only half of the time to put on make up in the morning and it is always straight. I have had her curl and tint my eyelashes several times and they always look fabulous. I have saved so much time and money now that I don't need to purchase eyeliner and mascara.\r
She created eyebrows for a friend of mine and they look fabulous. In the past my friend had to carry make up in case it rained or she wiped her brow and now she can get up and leave the house without being concerned about not having her eyebrows on. They look so natural, match beautifully and the color is perfect. My friend and I were both amazed. \r

I have had numerous procedures done by Julia and it has always turned out fantastic! She shapes my eyebrows by threading them, and permanent make up on my eyebrows and eyeliner. I always get compliments on my brows, as to how perfect they always look. The permanent eyeliner is so natural looking, that people don't even think I am wearing liner, but compliment how beautiful my eyes are. Julia is so professional and very conscientous of her work. I originally had eyelash enhancement 2 years ago, loved it so much went back to have a thicker line done. So far, I have had eyelash uppers and lowers, and lip liner. I have brought my mom (81 years old), sister, cousins, and a bunch of friends to Julia. She is awesome. She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. There is no pain and very little swelling. I would definitely recommend permanent make-up and more importantly Julia. She is the best!!!!
