Teahouse Comics is the result of two comic book masterminds. Shelley's been working in the industry for over 18 years, until recently when she decided to branch out and start her own comic book store with partner Mike. Mike is well-known in the gaming community for his creativity and fairness, as well as for being an all-around laid back guy. Along with Penny, the stores English Bulldog mascot, the team successfully launched Teahouse Comics in 2008, on Roswell Rd, in Sandy Springs. Teahouse Comics became known for being able to quickly locate the items that clients want. Teahouse Comics also specializes in statues, toys, back issues, old gaming products, current issues, trades & hard to find collectables
The shop is great, and the owners even better! There knowledge of gaming and comics is the best and there customer service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

I love this place! I will definitely be a weekly regular here! I love comics as do my children. They will absolutely be here for the long-haul & succeed!
Pros: Location right off of 285

I'ev always found that the greatest thing about the Teahouse comics, is that they will go up & beyond to find you what your looking for. Especially hard to find items. All you have to do is talk to either of the owners & they'll sit down with you, usually right then & start working on finding it. There's nothing I've asked for that they didn't find. Also, I don't think having Tea in the name of the store eludes to there being actual tea served. There logo has Alice in Wonderland in it, but I didin't walk in expecting to see the cheshire cat. Just saying.
Pros: the owners are knowledgable & they find things I can'tl

I found Teahouse by accident while shopping in the area the other day. I always love checking out new shops to see what I can find, so I looked past the odd name a logo and went in.
The new comics shelf was pretty standard, mostly the big 2. A small, diverse collection of random figures and some gothy-rock prints filled out the rest of the misc. Small to unnoticable back issue collection. The only thing that really stood out to me were some different prop guns and things on display that were kinda interesting.
Nothing special here. You can tell it's a first attempt at a comic shop, so I applaud them for trying. If they make it through the economy it could be something someday, but for now I'd only recommend it for someone who doesn't have a closer shop and wants to save gas.
Pros: Interesting mix of comics, art, and fan-made props of things
Cons: Sub-standard comic collection, no tea

Teahouse Comics is the only place I will go in Atlanta to buy my comics from now on. The shop is always clean & organized & the owners are always very helpful. It's also in a convenient location right off of 285.
