Donnie has been color/cut my hair for about 3 years. Has always done a terrific job. He is professional,funny and courteous. If you choose him as your stylist you won't be disappointed. Linda

This review is long over due. I've been going to John for who knows how long. He's the total package: Great stylist and person all in one. I'm always looking forward to my next appointment.
He does an awesome job every time.

I am a relatively new client to Lather Salon, recently relocating to Atlanta. I chose this salon because of the great reviews, online booking, and the talent I saw from their website. After walking into this place I knew it would be my "new home for hair". Donnie Shaw did an amazing job on my hair! He was very attentive and extremely professional....I won't go to anyone else!

Donnie is the kind of hairstylist we all need, one who will tell you the truth. When you need to change cut or color, he will let you know. he is always current on his knowledge of current styles,trends, and products. I have referred many clients to him and they are all satisfied customers and thank me for referring them.He has a great sense of humor and it is always fun to go and see him. Thank you Donnie

He has been doing my hair for about 2 years now.I want go any where else the very first time he done my hair he did my color ,highlights,and cute it and it looked so great.I will always have Donnie to do my hair he is great.

I was new to Atlanta about a year ago and was looking for a hair stylist. I was so lucky to find Donnie. He took my hair from an almost terrible state to looking unbelievably amazing. My hair has never been as heathly and shinny as it is now. My sister and I are both loyal customers, as long as Donnie is doing hair in Atlanta we won't be going anywhere else. I totally recommend him to anyone looking for a new stylist.

I have been with Phillip (and now Lather Salon) for many years and found him to be very good at his job. He is friendly, attentive, and reasonably priced. His new place is conveniently located in Midtown and well decorated inside to make you comfortable and welcomed.

The only request I would have is for appointment reminders - maybe a call a day or two before your visit.

Good job.

I really enjoy the experience @ Lather . It is very cozy and not too busy. I get the great service that I have always gotten from Donnie without all of the chaos of a huge salon!! I LOVE the new place.

Donnie is EXCELLENT! I've been going to him for about 2 years and have never had a bad experience. He definitely listens to what you want but also suggests things to make it a little more fun... he's always right! I've been stopped so many times by people asking me where I go and I just tell them Donnie Shaw! 4 or 5 of my girlfriends have also gone and now won't go anywhere else. He's great...I'd recommend him to anyone!

Katie has been my stylist since Lather has opened. She has always given me great advice on styles that would or wouldn't look good on me. I have more compliments now on my haircut and color then I jave ever had before! Thanks Katie for a job well done!!!!

I had searched online to find a quality salon since I am new to the area. I had been growing my hair out and not doing anything with it, I needed a quality hair make over for some headshots for my website and business cards. Donnie colored my hair and I LOVE IT!! It is the best hair style I have had in my life!! I have gone to the best salon's in Seattle when I lived there and I've never had such an excellent sytle!! I turned heads at the grocery store even on my way home!! Donnie had suggested we go darker, made me nervous but I went with it and my eyes stand out and my complexion looks better! Even when I left that day the two girls at the counter said "wow! You look like you have a tan!" I will be back many more times!! I don't want anyone but Donnie to cut and color my hair, I've never had a cut that worked with my waves and face shape. EXCELLENT Job Donnie Shaw!!!

I have never been able to trust someone fully with my hair. The first time I let Donnie cut my hair was when I donated it for Locks of Love. We cut off more than 10 inches and I was a little nervous about the whole thing. All I had to tell him was that I wanted a simple bob that could grow out easily. And the next thing I knew my hair was exactly like I pictured it in my head. He knew what worked with my face and was honest with what didn't. Since then he's also colored my hair, which was a first for me. I had highlights in the past, but I had never had a full color and he knew exactly what color would work with my skin when I told him I wanted to go darker. I love him and
Lather Salon and always enjoy myself. The atmosphere is always so inviting, even on your first visit!

Jim has been doing my hair for almost 7 years. He is so creative, but at the same time caring, about my hair! He's been a part of the Lather family for several months now, and I love this spot! It's relaxing and comfortable, and they really know their stuff! He not only is an amazing colorist, but his cuts are beautiful as well!!! Most recently, he did the permanent straightening (one of his specialties) on my hair.... I absolutely love it! My once curly, frizzy hair is straight and beautiful - ALWAYS!!! If you need a new stylists- give Jim a call. Not only is he a wonderful stylists, but a wonderful guy as well!!!!!

My experience at Lather Salon was absolutely the best ever. I felt completely taken care of and pampered. I have tried many salons in the metro Atlanta area and have yet to be happy. Now I can sleep at night knowing I have found a professional salon that is both welcoming and comfortable.

When I walked into Lather Salon for the first time, I was desperate!!! I had an upcoming photo shoot and had gone to another salon for highlights...only to walk out with orange hair...I NEEDED HELP FAST!!! After Donnie shaw had looked over the pictures i had brought in and had taken the time to listen to exactly what i needed, he had assured me that he could fix my problem...after reading all the reviews about Donnie on this website, I was confident that I was in the right hands...The salon was very clean and the staff was very friendly and I felt at home right away..Donnie gave me the exact color I wanted and I will not go anywhere else for my color..Thanks Donnie!!!

This is the third time I seen Donnie Shaw for my color and highlights. I used to have black hair. Now my hair is medium brown with natural highlights. My hair now is healthier than ever. There is something that Donnie puts in my hair that makes it really soft. I always get great haircare, color, and blowdry.
