This is my experience with Ann N. Nguyen a very savvy and dedicated lawyer practicing out of Oakland.
I recently had a great experience concerning a very involved stressful legal matter.
Just a bit of background:
I had been given a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS in October of 2007. I was very ill and almost died. At the time we were going through some tough financial times. My wife had not been able to stay employed, it really was the beginning of the economic downturn. I don't make a lot of money and we had gotten into some serious debt. After struggling for some time through my illness and against the tide of overwhelming bills I was ready to throw in the towel. I knew a bankruptcy would be my only way out of this mess. Reluctantly I decided to seek help through the A.L.R.P-AIDS Legal Referral Panel. They searched for a lawyer to assist me and gave me the number for Ann.
At first meeting her, I immediately felt comfortable and she seemed to be quite personable and professional. We discussed the case and I thought her fee was perfectly reasonable. Never during this time period between consultation and the hearing did I ever feel pressured about the money which was a great relief after what we had been through.
Ann was very attentive to details every step of the way which was quite reassuring. I felt like I was in good hands and with someone who really cared. There was never a glitch in the process at anytime. She had a habit of double checking and continually updating pertinent information as we went through the process. She was also prompt and on time at every meeting.
Afterwards I actually felt a little sad that she couldn't have lunch with us and we had to part ways.
Everything went absolutely smooth and I would ask for Ann's assistance in any legal matter in the future. I highly recommend her to anyone with a legal matter. I hear she's an avid Snow boarder also and gave up going professional to work in law so, her hip factor is +10!
Thank you Ann...and that's from my heart.
