My daughter has attended this school for a short time, but she loves it. She has been in 3 preschools, and CMA is by far the best one. They offer great schedules that fit both my wife and myself. My daughter is thrilled and excited to go to school and she's very active there. We are very pleased with them. I would recommend this school to anybody looking for a great school that fits busy schedules and family budgets. But the best part is that the kids have fun, they get thought well and the teachers are super patient, super friendly and the kids love them.

Finding the right first daycare / school is tough!! There are a lot of Montessori schools in McKinney & we toured them all, a few times. The facilities are great but we felt like just another number & it was all so corporate & impersonal. Our son had never been in a school situation so we knew it would be a challenge to find a place that we liked every aspect of. We almost gave up & were going to hire another nanny when we came to Centennial Montessori. Thank God we did because it has been amazing & we are thrilled to have them as our sons school!! Peggy is very hands on & knows everything that is going on with every kid. Brad, one of the owners was also extremely nice & accommodating to our specific requests. We also love his teachers and are impressed by how they are with him & also that they take the time to look & dress well, so even though it is very cozy & homey there, the professional & educational air is prominent & strong. -- We love it so far & wanted to say thanks for your care & love with Julian=)

My husband and I placed our daughter at Centennial Montessori when she turned 18 months. It was a tough decision to make, as we loved her previous daycare/school and all of the staff. Our daughter is very independent, and we felt she would advance further in the montessori setting. Our oldest, my stepdaughter, attended montessori and she was always a "step ahead" of the rest. Now 2, our youngest sings "twinkle, twinkle" and her a-b-c's! Her vocabulary has expanded just since the fall session started, and she has achieved many 3 year old goals per our pediatrician.
Recently,
I had a teacher from another local school rave about what a wonderful school CMA is! That was an eye opening compliment. We are more than satisfied with our experience so far. Our daughter is safe, loved and well taken care of while we are at work and unable to be her caregivers. I do not question my decision to switch schools, and I am so glad I did! We can not wait to see how much further our sweet daughter advances in the future.
If you are searching for a wonderful school for your child, I recommend visiting Centennial Montessori Academy. The administration and staff are wonderful people with much experience with the montessori philosophy. Even if you are unfamiliar with montessori, you should consider this location for your precious one! We are so happy!

My Son spent the first 2 years of his life going to an in home daycare. When he turned 2, my Husband and I wanted him to get more of an education as opposed to a baby-sitting environment. We spent two months trying to decide if a traditional daycare or Montessori school would be better suited for him and after researching, touring and speaking with CMA (Centennial Montessori Academy), we decided it was the best place for him and our family in general. We love Peggy Hansen (The Director) and all of his teachers in the toddler room. He only got to go from February to June (as our family re-located to San Antonio due to work), but in the 5 months he spent there, we noticed that he became much more social, vocal, involved and enjoyed going to school. The first 3 weeks were very hard for him, coming from an in home daycare, but after the transition passed, he woke up every morning and asked if he could go to school. They really are a great fit for someone looking for an environment that will nurture and provide education. They are structured, but also allow a child to be a creative child. Love it and sad we have to start the process of looking all over again in San Antonio.

My son is a former student at Centennial Montessori (we recently relocated out of state) and I can't say enough good things about the school! It was his first preschool experience and everyone was so kind and caring. They went out of their way to make sure his experience was a good one and he loves school now. I would definitely recommend this school!

Centennial Montessori Academy is an excellent school. After months of visiting schools in Frisco and Mckinney, I was thrilled to have found CMA. My son Thomas has been there since he was 20 months old. After 2 weeks of attending school, I could really see a difference in him. He was becoming more verbal and feeling more comfortable around his peers and adults in general. Now that he's almost 3 yrs old, I'm excited to see him reach new goals. I am confident that he will thrive in his new classroom and that his new teachers will care and nurture him just as much as his current toddler teachers.
CMA is also conveniently located at the corner of Alma and Eldorado and is therefore, ideal as both a Mckinney and a Frisco Montessori Preschool.
I highly recommend CMA to anyone who is looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their children.

It occurs to me as a fellow educator that we do not receive feedback often enough when a job well-done. Therefore, I want to take a moment and compliment the teachers and support staff at Centennial Montessori Academy.
My husband and I enrolled Benjamin in your summer program to acclimate him to a school environment before I started my teaching assignment in August. CMA's flexibility with Ben's summer enrollment schedule and extra time spent with me and my husband at your early-summer open house immediately put us at ease. We were impressed with the facility and faculty present that afternoon, namely Mrs. Hansen and Mrs. Betty, who made us feel welcome and answered our questions.
Benjamin has not only adjusted to his school environment, but he seems to be thriving. He will eagerly stand at the back door each morning with his lunch sack in hand when I tell him that we are going to school. each day i witness new behaviors that tell me he is learning positive attributes: sneezing/coughing on the back of his hand, walking orderly with his hands behind his back, putting his toys away when told the first time (most days), wanting to sit on the potty after each diaper change, pushing his chair towards the table, and speaking new words and phrases.
For all of these reasons and more, my husband and I want to thank you and express appreciation for your collective efforts to care for and nurture our little Benjamin

We moved our 2 year old daughter into Centennial Montessori Academy after having her in a daycare center. We were looking for a school that would focus more on her individuality, education and include family involvement rather than just a "daycare" environment. My husband and I looked at many options, but knew from the first moment of arrival that Centennial was the one. Fortunately, Centennial has become exactly the school "family" for which we were looking. I can't say enough great things about Centennial regarding everything from the excitement our daughter has every morning when she gets to go to school to the genuinely caring and nurturing teachers. Our daughter absolutely LOVES Centennial. It's amazing to us how much she has changed in just the short time she has been there. She has become quite independent and suddenly loves to share with her friends. It's not just her attitude that has changed; she has more self confidence and is much more outgoing. She gets to enjoy art, music, PE, Spanish and nature all in a days "work" and tells great stories and sings songs. Its the best feeling in the world to pick her up at the end of the day and see her true delight as she tells me about the great day she had with her friends and teachers.
I would highly recommend a visit to Centennial if you are looking for a caring, nurturing and safe educational environment for your child that is miles above the rest. Believe me, we looked at many options.

We are so happy with the care, education and nurturing our child receives at Centennial Montessori. We were looking for a school that would allow my daughter to feel SAFE, accepted, and excited to come everyday. I am happy to say that the school meets all these criteria and much more. Our daughter is happy to see her friends in the morning and I have trouble getting her to leave in the afternoon. As working parents, we have confidence during the day that she is safe and well taken care of. We know that she is receiving great instruction in academics, but is also learning essential life skills through the Montessori instruction. The owners of this school take such pride in their reputation and really make sure that the teachers, parents and the kids are all happy. We definitely recommend this school!

This school is a blessing for our family. The staff is so amazing! The teachers truly care about my children and are so gentle and loving with them.
They have changed my sons into little independent thinkers and doers and it is so cool. I would highly highly recommend!

We have had a very positive experience with CMA, our son has flourished in the Montessori environment. We find the staff to be sincere and find their love of children shows. Every day our four year old is able to articulate a new experience he learned at CMA, whether it is planting bulbs and watching them sprout or new artwork or sounds. The facilities are beautiful, the location convenient and staff is exemplary. We found the self paced environment of Montessori exactly what we needed for our curious investigative child. It is certainly worth the time to see if CMA is right for yours.

Through the years our children have been in several Montessori schools and environments.
Centennial Montessori Academy is just an amazing place... from the credited staff to the very apparent investment that they have made in teaching of the Montessori experience....
We just love it.

I have two children (my 3 and 5-year-old daughters) enrolled at Centennial Montessori Academy, and I am more than pleased with the progress they are making.
The facility is beautiful and peaceful, well designed and well lit (I love sunlight, so I love the windows!). Just visiting the school, you can see how the environment would foster a sense of calm and learning.
My children enjoy their days and are always eager to tell me what they learned and what activities they participated in. They are learning Spanish (and teaching it to me), music, yoga, other physical games and education alongside the usual lessons one would expect - numbers, letters, motor skills, etc. They love playing outside and there is plenty of room to run and play.
The teachers are awesome - patient, kind, caring, and experienced in the Montessori philosophy and curriculum. When I spoke with them at the parent/teacher conferences, I was pleased to see how well they knew each of my children, their differences, their strengths, and their weaknesses.
I would highly recommend Centennial Montessori Academy to anyone who is looking for a great Montessori school for their children!

This Montessori early childhood education and preschool is a place for children where the parent, teacher, child and school work together based on mutual respect and support to enhance all individuals' understanding, knowledge and insight.
Centennial Montessori Academy is located in a beautiful and new environment on West Eldorado Parkway in McKinney and their vision is to create an independent Montessori preschool that serves the needs of the residents of McKinney, Allen and Frisco, Texas.
