Olivetto Cafe and Wine Bar

I went to Olivetto for San Diego Restaurant Week. We were lucky enough to get there during happy hour (before 6 pm) So we got a $30 three course meal and a bottle of wine for 20 bucks. The food was delicious. I had the calamari and the salmon with bread pudding for dessert. my friend had the gnocchi and a beet salad.for dessert he had the cheese cake. Our waitress Debbie was friendly and attentive and guided through the menu. Everything was excellent. The decor. The food. The service. We are going back next week for their wine dinner. (they have one every month)

This is a cute looking place nestled in a newly remodeled building. We stopped in because we had seen the signs and had a coupon. The service was okay. The wine selection was pretty wide. The server was helpful in helping us pick a bottle. The food was so so and bit overpriced.
