Message from Resound!
Resound! is a fun and dynamic Christian music theater and performance program for elementary age children offering a variety of activities, including ringing handbells or handchimes (depending on age level), singing, acting and choreographed movement. Enrollment is limited so each child can receive personal attention. The Resound! Summer Music Camp in August offers children an opportunity to grow musically and spiritually by participating in a fun musical theater production. Resound! is conveniently located at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Sunnyvale (near the junction of I-280 and I-85), and serves Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Mountain View, and Los Altos. Deborah Sutherland is Resound! founding director and has developed its curriculum over 12 years. She has studied and taught vocal performance and is a former public school music teacher with 25+ years of experience directing choirs and bell choirs for both adults and children. My son has enjoyed the time he has spent in the Resound! program. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting their child interested in music. Deborah has a wonderful way of teaching how to read music, lyrics, lines of plays, etc so that they comprehend and remember what they have learned and carry that with them as they progress in music and theater.

This will be our ninth opportunity to take part in Resound! If you are looking for a fun music experience, here it is! This program encourages your child to sing and dance while remembering important stories from the Bible. We all enjoy the final production. Deborah Sutherland's leadership and spirit is wonderful! Resound! is an experience that will echo in your hearts for years to come.

I would highly recommend the Resound program for you and your children.Your child will enjoy playing chimes,and ringing bells as they also learn how to read music along the way.Deborah Sutherland has a way of bringing out the best in every child.She certainly brought out the best in my daughter. Deborah Sutherland and her Resound program is outstanding. My daughter so enjoyed Deborah's passion for children and music. We have attended a number of the Resound sessions and each time I have seen my daughter grow in her appreciation of music and faith. We look forward to attending more of her sessions and enjoying her wonderful productions. As a parent, you will not regret it!
