i HAVE TRIED OUT MANY OF THE LOCAL "GROOMERS". I TOOK GINGER TO VARIOUS GROOMERS AND ASK FOR A NICE CUT BUT MOST OF THE PLACES WOULD TURN AWAY MY POOR LITTLE GINGER. THAT IS UNTILL I TOOK HER TO THE PUPPY SHOP. SHE WAS TAKEN CARE OF AND WAS SENT HOME WITH A NICE CUT AND SMELLING FRESH. THEY EVEN LET ME STICK AROUND AND WATCH THEM GROOM HER.

I took my Puppy in for a full service grooming. He had been groomed prior at a spa in Oak Park and the Groomer said he was great and his coat was meticulously cut. Well I decided to try this new place. Bad idea. His coat was patchy, longer areas and shorter in others. He looked all choppy, not smooth. They didn't bother to cut the hair on his head, because "he was being difficult", yet they managed to cut the hair around his eyes, which I would think would be more difficult. They did however charge me the price for a FULL Service, when these FULL services were not rendered. This puppy is never scared of new people and never shakes, he was a shaky little mess when I picked him up. He didn't even have water in his cage. Will not recommend. Tried to go back and they did nothing about it. I guess you get what you pay for, and I have learned my lesson to go to the professionals.
