Sitter Connection Babysitter Referral Service

I had to be in Wilmington unexpectedly for Work and had 3 days to find childcare for my two young sons. A local hotel resort recommended Amanda at Sitter Connection. She returned my call quickly and found someone for us on short notice. The sitter she set up was great! I would definitely use her service again. It was also very affordable. Sometimes childcare in resort areas is really pricey. I found the finders fee very reasonable and the sitters rates were what we pay our usual babysitter.

I have been using the Sitter Connection for 2 years and have always been pleased with sitters that I have been provided. The sitters I've used have all been very responsible and my 2 year old tells me that she wants to see all of them. So I know that she enjoys her time with them as well. I've requested a sitter on short notice and always been provided with several names in plenty of time for me to call each and decide which I wanted to use. I plan to continue using this service.

As a mother of 3 children ages 4 through 9 with both parents working as full-time professionals, I consider Amanda and Sitter Connection as one of my most valuable and trusted resources! We began seeking referrals from Amanda for part-time sitters about 4 years ago, and have been able to quickly find sitters who are mature, responsible, responsive, dependable, respectful, trustworthy AND who enjoy being with the children as much as the children love playing with them. When an occasional sitter has not been a good fit for our family, Amanda worked with us to quickly identify other candidates, while being sensitive to the feelings of all parties. This is an ideal way to ease the stress of juggling childcare needs.

I needed to find a sitter for my 2 year old Son 2-3 days a week for a couple of hours on a regular basis. I contacted Amanda at Sitter Connection on a Friday, and he had found 6 qualified & interested sitters within a few hours of my email. The first sitter I interviewed I loved and hired my new sitter on Saturday. I would highly recommend Sitter Connection for any babysitting needs.

I could not have been more thrilled with the service. I called Amanda two days before we left for our family beach trip to Oak Island, NC. I was doubtful she would have a sitter for us since Oak Island is such a small beach town. I was thrilled to hear from her the next day with a highly qualified person who was working down there for the summer. I highly recommend this service!

I can't speak highly enough of Sitter Connection. When our regular child care provider was unavailable on extremely short notice due to a family emergency, Amanda was a lifesaver. She is pleasant, friendly, responsive, professional, and diligent. She found us a sitter within hours of my call, and we couldn't have been happier with the young woman who stepped in to help us out. She was as responsible, mature, confident, and capable as our full-time nanny, and she won my children over instantly. Our Sitter Connection sitter will spend three days with our three young children (including a 6-month-old) this month, and it is invaluable to me to know that I'm leaving them in such good hands. I recommend Sitter Connection enthusiastically!

We have used Sitter Connection twice for full time nanny placements. Not only were we provided with a good number of qualified candidates from which to choose, the turn around was within days. Our daughter is thriving with the care they provide. The people at Sitter Connection are professional, attentive and place a high value on customer service. I highly recommend this service without reservation.

This service is WONDERFUL. I refer it to all my friends. I do the placement service every summer. I interview babysitters that Amanda sends to me and I choose one for regular days every week. Every year I have been SO pleased. The sitters are so good with the kids. They have all different types of services but this one works best for me. Also while interviewing one of the girls had a background in special needs children and I had a friend with a special needs child. It was a perfect match for them and I referred her to Amanda. She has been thrilled also. I HIGHLY recommend this service.

After almost 5 years of consistent use, I can wholeheartedly say that Sitter Connection is awesome! I have used all of the services offered by Sitter Connection - one time placements, summer placements, quarterly sitter lists, and weekend/overnight - and all have delivered on what I was looking for. I have 3 children who are 6 and younger and have relied on sitter connection since the first was a baby. The sitters are eager and lively, and incredibly professional. I know that when I come home after the sitter has been with my children, the kids are happy, the house is not a total mess, and I feel so content knowing my kids were well taken care of.

Sitter Connection has been such an asset to us! With two working parents and a new baby at home, we don't always have the time to find a sitter - Amanda takes the leg-work upon herself, and always finds us wonderful babysitters! We have greatly enjoyed using this service, and will continue for a long, long time!

Sitter Connection has exceeded our expectations from the beginning. Both Amanda and the sitters have displayed excellence in their services to the kids and families of our church. We can always depend on Amanda to do her best in helping us schedule sitters for our many activities. We are also very pleased with the interactive and personal quality of childcare that is given by each of the sitters.

I had a great experience with Sitter Connection. Very speedy response, the sitter was fantastic...didn't just sit in front of the TV with my 2 children - had them outside playing in the backyard, drawing pictures. Truly professional.

The membership is the way to go. It is nice to have a little bio about potential sitters, and there are plenty of choices!

Can't wait to use them again!

What a great way to find a trustworthy sitter on short notice! We tried it once and then became members. Amanda was very responsive and the sitter was incredible -- very sweet & we felt completely safe leaving the kids with her even the first time. The kids loved her as well. We plan to make frequent use of our sitter list!

Sitter Connection is a great service for families and sitters in the Raleigh area. It is a perfect way to build lasting relationships between sitters and families, or to find a sitter for a one-time event when your normal sitter can't make it.
