Ratings_icons Bark & Call Inn is JUST LIKE HOME!

The Bark & Call Inn in Ashby is a hidden treasure. My husband and I have been to many training sessions with our very active Boston Terrier. He had become more aggressive in the past six months. We tried more aggressive training - which did not work with Cooper - maybe for the first few weeks. We were so happy when our Vet gave us Rebecca's name for training. Rebecca arrived at our home and instantly we (or all 3 - Jim, Cooper and myself) knew she was going to be the one. She was so patient and TRULY KIND. She stayed for one hour and Cooper loved her and formed a bond very quickly. We then learned of the Bark & Call Inn. We dropped Cooper off in the morning and we were like nervous parents. When we picked him up later in the day, he was happy to see us, but so calm and not nervous at all. Yesterday, I took him to the Inn for the day and he was excited to go.
We wanted to find somewhere we could leave our best friend, Cooper if we have to travel or just for day care - THIS IS IT FOR SURE. The prices are so reasonable - far below any kennel we have been to in the past.
It is like he is in their family. WE LOVE THIS PLACE and would highly recommend for any doggie's stay or just for the day.
I have to mention they are fabulous trainers too!
Truly angels - just walk in and you will feel the calm, happy place where your dog will be staying.
Elaine & Jim F.

Ratings_icons Bark & Call Inn is the best!

Jason K.

The Bark and Call Inn is a wonderful place to board your dog and give you complete peace of mind while you are away. The co-owner, Heather, first helped us train and manage the fearful, hyper dog we rescued from a shelter. Heather worked wonders with our pup, who now loves staying at Bark and Call Inn where she can play and socialize with other dogs. The quarters are clean, and the play yard is a huge, safe, fenced-in lawn on a farm. The owners are dog trainers and vet medicine profesionals, so we know our dog is being well cared for. From talking to other dog owners, I have learned the rates are also lower than neabry kennels. I highly recommend Bark and Call Inn.

Ratings_icons Best Boarding Experience, bar none!

Amy H.

I have boarded my dogs here several times and I can't say enough good things about the care my pets received. Both Heather and Rebecca are warm and caring, as well as being extremely knowledgable and professional.
My dogs come home to me happy, relaxed & well-exercised. There is none of the post-boarding stress and anxiety I have often seen after other experiences.
Unlike other places at which I have boarded my dogs, at the Bark and Call the dogs are allowed lots of well-supervised group play in a huge (and safe) yard. Both my 100# german shepherd's and my 10# boston terrier's needs are met and they have had lots of outside and play time when staying with Heather and Rebecca.
My little old blind dog had an experience that was as enriching and fun and SAFE as that of my crazy young dog!
The dog areas at both locations are very clean, and there is none of the frantic noise and barking that one often hears at conventional boarding kennels. Without exception, the dogs I have seen there when dropping off/picking up my dogs seem to be relaxed.
I love that the dogs get personal attention and that Heather and Rebecca really get to know the dogs and take pains to create play groups and social situations that benefit the dogs.
I now live over 3 hours away from The Bark and Call Inn, but I have made the trip, and will continue to make the trip, because my dogs love it and I can rest easy...totally confident that my animals are safe, happy and having a blast.

Ratings_icons My dogs love it here

Hi

When your dog gets out and runs to Heather and doesn't look back they're telling you how great a time they are having! My beagles Charlotte, Charlie and Timex all go to Heathers and they really enjoy their stay. I also have the peace of mine that they are being well cared for so I can have a good time as well. The acre fenced in yard allows the dogs to really run and stretch out and really be a dog. In the warmer weather there are even kiddie pools. In the winter all you have to do is provide a jacket for your dog and Heather makes sure they have it on when outdoor playing.

Highly recommend letting your dog stay here for either daycare or for dog boarding.

Caroline
