Horribly unknowledgeable staff. At first I loved it there, the staff seemed so friendly and such a nice atmosphere, but I realized that my bill is always so very high and always needing to do xrays and doing a variety of tests every visit saying it is absolutely necessary. Months later my dog was very ill and they told me that she has an upset stomach and prescribed her some medication. 1 week later she was still miserable, so I took my dog to another veterinary hospital to get a second opinion and it turns out that VCA was overcharging me and making me do procedures that weren't necessary just ringing up my bill during the months I had been skeptical. The new doctor took a look at the medical records and it turns out that all three of my dogs weren't properly cared for with their vaccinations and were unprotected. VCA has VERY unknowledgeable staff! My dog who was ill has now had NUMEROUS treatments to trying to help save her from what VCA and staff failed to vaccinate her to begin with.

Please, if you love your pets and if they are considered part of your family, do not send them to VCA.

Dr. Mark & his associates gently love and care the feral cat that adopted us. When I first fostered Taffy, they made sure she was healthy so my family was not at risk. Clean kennels, private comfortable rooms, and a support staff that truly makes the animals feel welcomed.

PROS: If Dr. Mark were a physician for human, he would be my doctor
CONS: The cost may be a little more than other vets but worth it

I brought my yorkie/chi mix to VCA Hualapai to get his annual check up. Dr. Love was his vet and she wasn't at all friendly. She was extremely pretentious. Maybe she was having a bad day. I would recommend going to this facility, but not seeing Dr. Love. I've heard good things about the other vets on staff.
