The decorations in this restaurant are very interesting. The food however isn't the best. They also have a club downstairs that seems a little sketchy.

I am not a fan of Moya. The food is VERY spicy which I understand Ethiopian food should be. However, this seems excessive. The atmosphere is geared towards college students.

I like Ethiopian food, and I usually like the atmosphere at Ethiopian restaurants. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of either at Moya. The restaurant is just off of Emory's campus, so I think they have really Americanized the menu to attract students, so much so that they have added a whole pasta menu (like fettuccine pesto). In doing so, they have lost a lot of what makes the experience of an Ethiopian restaurant. I also think their prices are higher than most other Ethiopian restaurants in town.
Want Ethiopian food? This is acceptable, but there are better options.
