We were re-sanding the sealing of oak floor at our house. It was a long day (they were on site before 7 AM, and did not finish until 8 PM). I must say they worked diligently and conscientiously the entire time, barely stopping for a cup of coffee. I would be the first to say that it was an OUTSTANDING job with lots of awkward corners and confined spaces, uneven and cupped boards, but they understood that a good job was more important to me than a quick or cheap job and took the time and trouble to get it right. Their attention to detail and cheerful spirit were much appreciated and I want you to know that I am delighted with the results achieved. I shall have no hesitation in recommending you to others. My check is enclosed. Thanks so much for your hard work!!

WoodFloor NY team was professional, courteous, and very accommodating. The crew was able to install and finish 1100 sq ft of unfinished white oak over one weekend. We ran them ragged with a last minute change to install trim. They made no gripes and were able lay out the cost and the availability of materials that we wanted for this additional service. I would find it hard to believe that there is another contractor in the area that can it do is as reasonable, fast, and as professional as European Floors. We are very please with WoodFloor NY service!

I had high hopes when I contacted this place, since they had so many five-star reviews on Citysearch.

However, they sent two men to measure our floor, and they gave me an estimate based on measurements that seemed wrong. I called and asked them to have someone call me and they didn't call back. Then I measured myself, and found one area was 246.5 sq ft when they said it was 420 sq. ft, and another area was 28 sq. ft when they said 60 sq. ft. I don't know if they were intentionally inflating the measurements or whether their workers lacked skill in doing measurements and calculations.

I called and asked to speak to an owner, and told them the story. He promised to send someone to re-measure today between 11 and 1, and said he'd call if they were delayed for any reason. It is now 3 p.m, and they have not come or called.

I'm moving on to another company. I suggest that if you do business with them, you double-check the measurements.

My floors are totally awesome! I was so ready to just cover them up but I called Woodfllor NY to get me an estimate. They came over and told me what the price would be. I was so surprised. I figured for that amount, I had nothing to lose. He started right away and finished in no time. My floors look like new they are so beautiful and now so easy to care for! If I did not see this for myself I would have not believed it! Thanks so much for everything!

We had our kitchen hardwood floors redone by Wood Floor New York. They have arrived on-time, were friendly, worked quickly and finished the job in timely manner. The only major disruption was having to take the cats away from the home for one night. Our kithen floor looks like new and looks awesome!!
