Both my daughters started in summer camps with kidsActing when they were 7 & 8 years old. They loved the first camp the second and the third. Then they started doing the musicals, and loved it even more. The gifts they were given through the kidsActing programs are too numerous but I'll try. Confidence, friendship, joy, connection, excitement, the thrill of being onstage, performing and the ineffable experience of a standing ovation. Well, there it is...they spent 10 years with kidsActing and continue to support the programs, always looking forward to the next show so they can give their friends the same ovations.

Our son is currently in his 8th musical with kidsActing. He always refers to kidsActing as his "Happy Place." The environment and support with all of the kids and staff has strengthened his self confidence immensely and it gives him a place where he is always accepted and comfortable being himself. The direction that he has received has broadened his talent and his love for acting. When on stage, there is no doubt that he is loving every minute of it.

Dede Clark is absolutely amazing in her ability to give every person their moment to shine on stage. She is one of our most favorite people in the world.

Our son was 10-years old when we moved to Austin, TX. Our son wasn't really interested in sports, wasn't competitive, and didn't really fit in anywhere.We enrolled him in Grease in 2006 with KidsActing. Our lives as we knew it would never be the same. The impact KidsActing has had on our son is amazing. He found a second family that at times seem inseparable. These kids are not only high achievers but talented in so many ways. Our son is now 13.5 years old and has performed in 6 productions. In addition to performing, he plays tennis and runs track for his school and loves to run in 5K's around Austin.We are so proud of our son and we can't thank Dede and her staff enough for the impact they have had on his life!
