We hired SHI in August for a remodel to start in September. Little did we know that they had overextended themselves and taken way more jobs than they could reasonably handle at one time. They told us they would lead us through the entire process, telling us what to do and when so that there would never be a question of what was expected and we would never be left wondering what was supposed to be happening and when. After several emails that were ignored by SHI, we were finally told we should choose granite first so we asked where to go and they finally got back to us with a vendor list. We chose granite then heard almost nothing from them, in spite of repeated calls and emails, for several months, until they finally said they could start in December. We were constantly asking what they needed from us and constantly ignored or told that we didn't need to do anything. I have emails to prove this. The December start date was then pushed to January 2-then January 7th. It is June 7 and the job is still not done.
We recently found out permits were required by the city of Round Rock for the extensive plumbing, electrical, and gas work they did as well as the addition of a window. They moved two gas lines, lots of plumbing, and added a 4 by 4 foot window all without any permits. We are new to TX and trusted them to know what was required. They claim no permits were required and I strongly suspect they have never acquired permits on any of their jobs. The clerk I spoke with at the city of RR has never heard of the company.
While that is by far the biggest problem and will result in the biggest headaches down the road, there were huge problems all along the way over the several months it took them to complete a job that should have taken 5 weeks. They promised to start in the FALL and take 4-6 weeks. They made numerous mistakes along the way-communication errors they blamed on us, measurement errors that resulted in us being quoted the wrong price and later being told we would have to pay more for granite and tile, and much more. Emily has no respect at all for anyone's time. She was consistently late for appointments and almost NEVER answered an email, phone call, or text. Overall communication of office staff was also poor.
During construction they managed to flood our laundry room and our kitchen with our brand new custom cabinets already installed! Water went underneath them. Emily acted like it was no big deal and never even apologized. This was caused by an independent contractor, which their contract states they never use and who they sent out without telling us.
Their literature also states that they have rec'd numerous awards and accolades but if you do a little research you will learn that all of them were earned while the company was owned by Jason Flippo, before they bought it. NONE of the awards are "theirs" but they claim them as their own.
They are not bonded or licensed because it is not required. They don't get permits. We are still trying to get them to finish the final touch ups and one drawer accessory. They also dented our refrigerator when fixing another problem and refuse to take responsibility. The island stain is uneven and has a strange sheen and they have not taken responsibility.
They could not keep the details of our job straight or schedule enough people to get it done in time. They only have one plumber, one electrician (the one that they had quit during the course of our remodel),etc. One couple had to bring their very young child to work with them because they couldn't, for whatever reason, drop her off at daycare. I came home to find out that she had been sitting in their car on my driveway while they worked in my kitchen. They also sent workers out with incomplete instructions many times so that they had to be sent out again to finish the job another day. I caught several mistakes that, had I not, would have resulting in tearing out cabinetry and starting over! On several occasions workers were called away from our job to go handle an "emergency" at another job. Many many times we were told to expect workers and no one showed up after we had planned our day around them being (and vice versa). This was extremely inconvenient and we explained that to them several times but it kept happening over and over again.
The only positive: the workers, who did do a great job where the management failed. The independent contractor they brought in when their plumber was unavailable was completely incompetent (flooded brand new kitchen).
They have made it impossible for the A/C tech to install our downdraft fan because of numerous electrical code violations and the junction box being in the wrong place. Finally had to hire our own electrician to get the job done

We chose Signature Home Improvement (SHI) to remodel our kitchen and master bath because they do not use subcontractors. We felt that the job would go more smoothly. SHI workers have a good comradery, work well together and help each other if needed. They are skilled and their work is impeccable. We felt that each crew showed great attention to detail as they worked in our home The job took about 7 weeks. Being home alone all day, I cannot stress how comfortable I always felt with the SHI employees in my home everyday.
It was a pleasure working with Emily, Heather and Savannah. No matter how big or small the problems, they were always there to solve them. It is comforting to know that we can count on them for any problems that arise in our home. I would absolutely hire Signature Home Improvements again and have already recommended them to numerous friends.

My husband and I are extremely happy with our new granite kitchen counter top and tile back splash installed by Signature Home Improvements. The demo crew, installation crew, plumber, tiler and finisher were such professional craftsmen and obviously took pride in not only their work, but their company.\n\nWhile we knew what granite we wanted, we received much-needed assistance with the back splash tile selection ?? thanks, Emily! We highly recommend Signature!

After checking Angie's list and consulting with three contractors, we chose Signature Home Improvements to remodel our 22-year-old kitchen. We wanted new cabinets with inserts, granite countertops, tile backsplash, cabinet lights and wallpaper removal. Estimates were about the same from all three companies, but we were impressed with the fact that Signature would do nearly all the work, rather than subcontracting, which meant they could complete it in a much shorter time period (three weeks compared to up to three months) than the other two companies we contacted. Mickey was very knowledgeable and was able to give us an estimate on the spot that was very close to what we ultimately spent.. After we committed to a contract, Armanzo came out to measure and to tweak our design plan. He had great suggestions that resulted in a very attractive and very functional kitchen. The demolition was limited to about a week and the mess was kept to a minimum with plastic sheeting. The cabinets were being constructed in their shop during that time, so they were ready for installation as soon as the demolition, painting and wiring were complete. When all the lower cabinets were in place, templets were drawn for the granite counters and they were installed a few days later. Lastly, the backsplash was intstalled. The majority of the work was done in the estimated time. From start to finish, the workers were polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves every day. When everything was complete, Armanzo meticulously went over every inch of the kitchen to personally fix anything that was not perfect. We now have the kitchen we had dreamed about for years. In a year or two we plan to remodel our bathrooms and Signature will be our first choice.

We did a complete renovation of our guest bathroom including removal of the tub, moving the toilet, taking out the double vanity and installing a pocket door to replace the regular door.\nSignature was great from planning to completion! Everyone, to a person was skilled, friendly and responsive to our needs. We were called each evening by the office staff to review the plans for the next day and who would be arriving at our home.\nThey installed beautiful travertine tile in the new, curbless shower, on the floor and a 48"" wainscotting on the walls. The custom single vanity cabinet with granite top is amazing and they even built a ponywall between the vanity and toilet with adjustable shelving to my specifications. Frameless, sliding glass door was installed in the new 45"" wide shower.\nWe would definitely recommend them and will use them again when other projects arise. Completely satisfied.

We upgraded our kitchen five years ago but didn't replace the cabinets at that time becuase they still looked good and were completely serviceable. After five years they had started to show wear and tear. Signature Home Improvement offered a very cost effective solution to our problem in cabinet tinting. They provided an in home visit to scope the work and provided an accurate estimate of the efforts. They completed the work on schedule and within the cost estimate. The workmen were professional, courteous and responsive to our requests. We love the results and are totally satisfied with the project and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for similar services. Definitely a five star company! \r\n

My husband and I were incredibly impressed by Signature Home Improvements. We remodeled our ""master bath"" in our 1950's ranch home (quotations used because the bathroom was the size of a coffin -- were people Hobbits back in the 50s?!). We gave up our original master closet to gain more room for the bathroom, and lost a little square footage in the bedroom to add in a new closet. \n\nOur project included the following tasks: demo, wall construction, flooring, tile, cabinetry, putting up drywall and insulation, moving plumbing, moving light fixtures, patching walls, hanging doors and bi-fold doors, installing glass shower doors, painting, matching our old moulding and installing/repairing our hardwood floor (where needed). They also had to match the 50's style texturing on the walls in the bedroom, but in the bathroom I requested and got a much smoother wall finish, since all the walls were replaced.\n\nThe benefit of going with SHI is that MOST of the work is done in-house and they have a much tighter control on costs and scheduling. They have a much better grasp of time frames, costs, scale of work, etc. and communication is a lot easier when you are dealing with one company. \n\nI have heard friends' horror stories about construction and escalating costs, and I experienced none of that. My husband is an architect and has had to create tons of punch lists for projects to catch errors made during construction. He was so extremely impressed when it was our time to make a punch list at the end of the project -- everything was done at a high quality and done right the first time.\n\nThe staff at SHI was always courteous and professional, and I felt like I could communicate with them easily during the entire project. I would recommend them to any of my friends in town. \n\nAlso: I posted photos of my new bathroom on Facebook and a friend gave me the ultimate compliment: ""At first I thought this was a photo of a fancy hotel you were staying in. This is your home? That's lovely!""

Complete master bathroom remodel. Removed old tub, shower, tile, vanity, sinks, cabinets, ceiling mounted swag light fixtures, wallpaper, ceiling popcorn texture, flooring, toilet, and exhaust fan. Basically removed everything down to the studs in the shower area, and down to the drywall and foundation throughout the rest of the bathroom.\n\nInstalled hardibacker board in the shower area. Built custom shower pan, marble step, and subway tile surround with two marble shelves. Installed frameless glass shower doors. Installed new shower control, handheld shower, and bar. Installed new recessed can light fixtures and exhaust fan in shower area. Installed new toilet and control valve. Replaced broken flange on sewer connection. Built new custom cabinets above toilet. New custom vanity cabinets with flush mount doors and drawers. Marble countertop for vanity with two undermount sinks. Installed two new faucets and controls. Custom built and installed two new recessed medicine cabinets. Installed new wall mounted sconce light fixtures. Installed new recessed can light. Textured and painted walls and ceiling. Installed and painted new beadboard wainscoting. Installed and painted new baseboards. Painted three doors. Installed new tile flooring throughout bathroom and wood flooring in connected walk-in closet. Installed new towel bar, towel rings, and toilet paper holder. Replaced all switches, plugs and wallplates.\n\nEveryone at Signature Home Improvement was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely hire them for our next remodel project.\n\nOur initial contact was with Jason Flippo (founder) who came to our home to gather information, measurements, and scope the project for an estimate. Later, we went to Signature Home Improvement's office to finalize a contract and take a tour of their facility.\n\nThe office staff (Heather, Savannah, and Mimi) coordinated workflow, materials and schedules. They communicated with us everyday to let us know what to expect. We were never in the dark about when the next craftsman would arrive and the work they would perform.\n\nThe project supervisor (Armanzo) came by frequently (every day at the start of the project). He helped us a lot by coming up with multiple design alternatives for vaious aspects of the project, and then helping us choose one that made sense.\n\nThe craftsmen (Ventura, Carlos, Martin, Aurelio, Tara, Joe, Sergio; apologies for any names I omitted) arrived either on time or slightly earlier than scheduled every day. They were friendly, skilled, and thorough. They were professional and treated us and our house with courtesy and respect. Except where logistics prevented it (waiting for grout to dry, epoxy to cure, etc.), someone was working every day. Their attention to detail and quality is very much appreciated. There are also many craftsmen (whose work was completed at Signature Home's facility; cabinet builders, painters, stone fabricators, etc.) whom we never met. Their attention to detail and quality is also very much appreciated.\n\nThey took steps to protect floors, walls, and furniture that were not part of the remodel. The crew cleaned up every day and at the end of the project hauled away excess construction materials.\n\nThe only way our project could have gone better is if they did it for free.\n

Armanzo and colleagues have done an outstanding work in reconfiguring and remodeling our master bath. The custom cabinetry and tile are excellent in every way. Joe, Humberto, Aurelio, Tara, and others were careful with our home as they demolished, jackhammered, scraped, taped, floated, tiled, grouted and painted an exquisite master bath. Five years ago, Signature did a superb job with a complete remodel of our kitchen. This group also designed, built, and installed lovely custom cabinets and vanity for our hall bath. We highly recommend them. \n

We loved the end result. There were a few minor issues that kept me from giving them 5 stars, but they tried to correct them and that means a lot that a company will stand behind their work. I would recommend them to a friend.

Overall, very pleased with the process and the outcome. Signature was very good about keeping us informed of what would be occurring and when. A couple of bumps, but nothing critical and nothing that wasn't addressed immediately. Adam who managed the remodel onsite was very thorough and listened to any concerns or questions that we had and he addressed them right away. The professionalism of this company was outstanding. Very impressive from the owner of the company down to the folks actually doing the work. Other big plus for me what that they had respect for my home. The pathways through my home that they would be going to were all covered with paper. This was the first thing they did when they started the job.

Signature Home Improvements replaced out kitchen cabinets and countertops. We are very pleased with the results. There were a copy of minor issues but they were resolved quickly. Armanzo Saucedo was very helpful in getting the project completed.

Jason Flippo' and his staff are professional, courteous and efficient. The attention to detail they devote to installation is awesome! I will use SHI for additional home improvement work and highly recommend their services.

Jason Flippo and Signature replaced a tub with a walk-in tiled barrier-free shower. From start to finish they were the most responsive, pleasant remodelers we have ever hired. Their office personnel: Heather, Mimi, and the others, are very pleasant on the phone and extremely efficient. The workers on the job are similarly polite and pleasant to work with and do fine work: Joe the plumber, Venturo the all-around helper and finisher, Armanzo the job engineer, and the tiler, who was a perfectionist! We would recommend this company without reservation and use them again.

We had a wonderful experience with SHI. They installed new granite countertops and backplash as well as a new kitchen sink. They helped with design ideas, were very professional and finished the job on schedule and with no issues. We plan to use SHI in the future and will refer family and friends.

This was our first Kitchen and bathroom remodeling since we build the house 14 years ago. Signature Home Improvement (SHI) Staff were very cordial, professional and knowledgeable. In addition, prices were very competitive \n\nIn the very beginning, they were always willing to accomodate our busy schedule by meeting us late in the evenings to review our requirements before providing the quote.\n\nOnce the project started, they showed up everyday on time and at the end of each day they called to provide the schedule for next day.\n\nBut the thing that I enjoyed the most about SHI staff was their flexibility to meet last minute changes either requested by us or due to unforeseen events. It didn't matter what the issue was, one of their full-time professional staff was able to fix it. \n\nWe didn't know what to expect as we started the project but they continuously provided us with guidance and allowed us to make the final decisions. \n\nMy wife and I definitely recommend this company to whoever is interested in using their services.\n\n\n\n\n\n

Signature Home Improvements remodeled our kitchen recently. We are very pleased with the whole process and the completed work. Each step was properly communicated and performed. Everybody involved in the process is a company employee which enhances the expectations of the customer. Each person performed at a high level of competence and it is all done with a great, positive attitude. Scheduling is a breeze and each person showed up as scheduled, performed his work and cleaned up before leaving. The office staff of Mimi, Heather and Savannah were outstanding! One of them was in contact with us each day so that we were completely informed of all aspects of the work as it progressed. While we do compliment each worker we would especially like to recognize Tomas (granite: from measuring, to design & cutting, to installation of the countertops; Martin (tile installation. Our friend, who is a tile installer, complimented his work); Sergio (electrician. He went out of his way to find the under-cabinet lighting that we desired) and Armonzo (foreman) who would not let anything pass inspection without his approval. There is so much quality product and work that it is hard to single out individual steps. Rather than doing the minimum written into the contract each worker gave added value to their part of the project. Such as Joe (plumbing) who cleaned up the ""can of worms"" under-sink drain lines so that we actually can utilize the space. As with any remodeling project there were some surprises. They were all handled fairly & with a minimum of concern. This company offers a quality product, work done with pride and a fair price to boot! I should not neglect to mention Jason, who is the company president. He came to our house, gave us good suggestions, wrote the proposal and followed through to the end. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHI FOR REMODELING WORK!

I have worked with Signature on 4 different projects around my house: 2 bathroom remodels, a kitchen remodel and replacement of hardwood flooring. Every project has been a painfree experience where I got excellent service and qualityat a fair price. The best part about this company is that they clearly put making the customer happy at the top of their priorities. This attitude permeates from the owner to the craftsmen to the office staff. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in a kitchen or bath remodel.

We used SHI for a kitchen upgrade. The upgrade included installing granite countertops and refinishing all the kitchen cabinets, and updating the plumbing fixture. Everyone working for the company is FANTASTIC from the girls in the office to the the plumber who hooked up the new faucet. They kept in contact with us by phone on a daily basis to let us know progress made and what would be occurring the next day. We were so impressed with how neat and clean our house was at the end of each day. They vacuumed up all dust and debris before they left each day. They even swept my kitchen floor! SHI was patient with us answering all our questions. We anticipated this job to take a little over a week and they were in and out in 3 days! We had a beautiful kitchen at the end of the third day! We cannot express how pleased with are with the new kitchen and the professionalism of SHI. Would we use them again for future remodeling projects? ABSOLUTELY!

SHI did a master bathroom remodel for us in January 2012. The remodel included: granite countertops, re-finishing of all cabinetry, tile floors, complete new shower, and all the plumbing hardware. The shower included new tiles walls, frameless glass doors, decorative tile band, and granite corner shelves. We were very pleased with the time of the remodel. SHI completed the project in about 3 weeks. They were very good at cleaning at the end of each work day. We got everything we wanted in our new bathroom with the budget we had to work with. SHI had excellent communcation throughout the project. We will definitley contact them again for future bath and kitchen remodels.

SHI recently completed an upgrade project on our kitchen. They installed granite countertops, new tile backsplash, a built-in desk with an new overhead cabinet, under cabinet lighting, and some interior cabinet amenities. They also freshened up our pantry. Upon us being ready for work to begin, the project took off quickly. Within a few days, the entire project was complete except some final touch-ups and we were INCREDIBLY pleased with the work, the daily communication, and the pleasant disposition of the employees. Unfortunately, one of the employees did not re-hook the dishwasher up properly and we belatedly discovered that our laminate floor was destroyed by water seeping in beneath. Because of so many bad experiences in the past, I did extensive research on whom we would hire for this work in order to increase the likelihood that, should something go wrong, we would be properly taken care of and WE WERE! Immediately, SHI took ownership of the mistake and promised to make it right. Unfortunately, we were not able to replace the same flooring due to unavailability and so they offered an upgraded tile floor. We were able to choose the tile we wanted, and now have a beautiful procelain floor that really enhances the work that they had already done. It is unfortunate when things go wrong, but we all make mistakes. What makes a good company is one that takes an error and converts it into a loyal customer. We not only recommend SHI to anyone, but also we plan to have them remodel our master bath later this year.

We had a complete kitchen remodel done by SHI. They made our cabinetry, installed granite and backsplash, made us an L-shaped breakfast nook that includes storage, painted the walls and the ceiling, added recessed lighting and new electrical outlets. We had such a wonderful experience working SHI. They were professional, timely and did high quality work. Jason came to our home before creating the initial bid. After we received the bid, he invited us to the SHI offices/shop to see how they work. We really werent sure which contractor to choose, but once we went to the shop and saw the quality of the cabinetry we were sold. They make all their own cabinetry which gives you great flexibility. Once we signed the contract, Armanzo came to our home to do more measurements and discuss our kitchen design. He created the drawings within 2 days. He also gave us some great ideas we hadnt considered, some of which are my favorite features in the kitchen! We worked with their recommended vendors for our granite and backsplash and it was a positive experience with both of them. SHI moves very quickly. They did our drawings right before the New Year and started demolition the last week in January. Once they started in our home, the entire job was finished in 3 weeks. Someone from SHI was at our home every day progressing on the project. Every single employee that came to our home was friendly, respectful and professional. As we progressed through the project, there really were any surprises. The work was true to the bid and when we requested something a little different than initially specified in the bid, they worked with us on the price too. The employees showed up on time every day and the office staff at SHI communicated with us if anything unexpected happened. They also let us know what work would happen each day and if we needed to provide something (garbage disposal, faucet, etc.). I think what makes SHI unique is that they employ everyone who works on your home. There are no sub contractors. This gave me great piece of mind and really keeps everything on schedule. We really could not have asked for a better experience for a kitchen remodel. We would have Signature Home Improvements complete another project for us with no hesitations. Our kitchen is amazing and really exceeds our expectations.

We hired Signature Home Improvement to demo our existing walk-in shower down to the studs and replace with natural tumbled travertine stone tile and frameless glass shower enclosure. Everything went flawlessly from start to finish. Received initial visit from Signature Home Improvement representative to preview the project and answer questions. Received email with description of work and cost breakdown for the project.\nMet with our SHI representative at the tile supplier to select the travertine stone for the surround and visited SHI office to sign the contract. SHI demo team tented the adjoining bedroom furniture and constructed a heavy duty paper walkway from the front door to the bathroom worksite. The worksite was cleaned up at the end of each workday. Members of the demo team, plumbers, fiberglass worker, tile installer, painter, shower glass installers, etc., were all very courteous, neat and respectful of our home.\nSHI phoned at the end of each workday to inquire how things went and to answer any questions. All workers arrived on time when SHI said they would be there and worked diligently to complete the work. The craftsmanship of the tile work is awesome. We are very happy with the finished project.\n

We went to SHI with a vision of a new kitchen and hardwoods in our house and now we have it. \n\nAt our house we had quite a bit of work done. We replaced our countertops with granite, a new undermount sink, backsplace replaced, new tile floors in the kitchen, all cabinets and drawers painted, all of the main walls painted and hardwood flooring and baseboards installed in nearly every room in the house.\n\nThe material selection was a breeze and once that was complete, everything was in motion. The countertops were removed and replaced with a nice selection we found at one of the SHI vendor suggestions, all in one day. The backsplash was installed and then grouted the next day. The painters came and repaired some cracks and holes in the drywall and then painted all of the rooms. \n\nThen our old kitchen flooring was demo'ed and removed along with removing all of our existing cabinet doors and draws which got taken to the SHI office to be sanded and painted like new cabinets. After installing the flooring in the kitchen they prepared the kitchen cabinets to be painted with the same high gloss cab-acrylic paint. We had some molding and trim installed on the top to raise the height (a suggestion by SHI) and it worked dramatically well. They look like brand-new cabinets.\n\nAfter the kitchen was done they tackled the rest of the job which was a large amount of hardwood flooring. They were installing nearly 1400 sqft of flooring so after a number of weeks we were ready to be done, but the results are just amazing. New hardwoods, new baseboards, caulking, touch ups, every detail we needed addressed was handled. \n\nThe staff in the office are excellent; any time we needed information or any attention they were a email or phone call away. The workmen were excellent tradesmen and women who knew how do to great work and had pride in everything they did. One look at our house now and you can tell SHI has an awesome team dedicated to making your home renovation come out better than you imagined.\n\n

We had SHI install granite countertops and an electrical outlet in our kitchen.\n\nFirst we had a sales person come out to our home to take a look at our kitchen and give us a price for the countertops we wanted. While he was there we also asked him about our cabinets as we were looking to do something to update them around the same time. He gave us a quote to do the work for us but also gave us a lot of information and tips about doing it ourselves (which is what we ended up doing). As he inspected the kitchen he also noticed that we didn't have an electrical outlet for an over-the-range microwave and said that they could install one for us. I guess good sales people are always looking for an ""upsell"" but I didn't get that feeling at all -- him noticing the lack of an outlet saved us frustration later on and his tips on DIY for the cabinets were honest and gave us confidence he cared more about the relationship than squeezing a few extra dollars out now.\n\nThe price he quoted us per square foot seemed high at first but I was pleased to learn that it included everything (demolition, edging, a stainless undermount sink, hooking up the plumbing after installing the sink, etc.). The other people I talked to about countertops advertise a lower cost but then charge extra for all the (necessary) ""extras"".\n\nWe ended up just going with the granite at which point Mickey (our sales guy) met us at their office to show us their facilities and to begin looking at stones. We didn't care for any of the exotic level 2 and 3 stones they had left over from other jobs (that they offered to us at level 1 prices) but found something we liked at a local granite distributor. After we picked our stone we wrote SHI a check for half the project cost.\n\nThe next day an electrician came to install the outlet. He was on-time, quick and efficient.\n\nThe next day we received a call from the office saying that the granite guys wouldn't need the full day to install and was it OK if they came around 12? It was. They were waiting for to get home from work at 12:10 and were done by 3:30 or so.\n\nThe day after that their plumber came by to install the faucet and garbage disposal I had provided. Once he was done (again, on-time and no fuss) I asked him how you were supposed to install a dishwasher under the granite. He said normally you would fix a piece of wood under the countertop and screw into that -- he then got on the phone to the office and arranged for a carpenter to come out and do so for us. I'm not sure if was a miscommunication between myself and the granite installers and should have been done earlier or just a favor based on my question but either way I'm happy with the result.\n\nWe were really impressed with the communication. While some of the workers weren't the most talkative (at least not in English), I felt comfortable that they knew what they were doing and that the girls in the office were keeping everyone in the loop with regards to the schedule and who would be showing up when and to do what.\n\nI realize I sound like an ad but I was happy with the service and am happy to recommend SHI. I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives but I value the confidence that comes from working with a company that values their reputation (I mentioned I found them through online reviews and they did ask me to review them).

We used Signature on a partial bathroom remodel. They converted a walk-in shower to a shower/tub combo, tiled the bath area and removed and remolded an outdate built-in vanity. We loved their work. Their estimate was well priced and we feel like we got great value for what we paid for. Their work was extremely well done. Their office staff particularly impressed me by calling each day to report on progress and receive our feedback. When we hit a small snag with one of their employees' tardiness, they immediately put a new person on the job that was amazing. We'd definitely work with them again and recommend them highly.

We are very satisfied with the remodeling of our kitchen by Signature Home Improvements. I would give the customer service and installation services an A+. Awesome job!\n\nThe lower cabinets in our kitchen were refaced and the upper cabinets were replaced. You cannot differentiate the refaced ones from the replaced ones. \n\nAfter paying for my own design drawings and obtaining a very competitive bid from another company, Jason was able to beat the quote and provide additional design options. \n\nMy family and I will continue to recommend Signature Home Improvements.

I had a lot of work on my house that I have been putting off for a while, so I finally decided to get someone to do it. Jason Flippo came to my house to do my estimate, and he listened to my thoughts and had a lot of good suggestions. I liked Jason from our first meeting, and felt confident that his team would listen to my concerns and do a good job. He had an estimate ready the following day. We met later to finalize a written contract detailing all the work that was to be done which included granite countertops in kitchen and bathroom, new kitchen sink and faucet, kitchen cabinet refacing (new doors and drawers), tile backsplash in kitchen, recessed lighting in kitchen, tile floor installation, new 3 inch baseboards, scraping popcorn off ceiling, re-texturizing and painting of ceiling, painting the walls, new bathtub installation with new tile surround, new lighting in bathroom, new sink, and new plumbing fixtures for bathroom sink and tub/shower combo.\nI was assigned a project coordinator named Linda who was my point of contact and was in charge of scheduling all the work to be done at my house. As the work went along, we did make some additions to the original contract. She was extremely responsive in answering all my questions, getting the new quotes back to me, and updating the contract in writing.\nAt any point a different team of professionals was at my house working on a different aspect of the project. The painting team arrived first to scrape the popcorn off my ceiling, re-texturize, and re-paint. They were later followed by an electrician, plumbers, tile layers, carpenters, and a granite specialist. I was glad to know that each part of the job was being done by specialists. While the painters were working on the ceiling, I was working on picking out my paint colors, floor tiles, backsplash design, granite, plumbing fixtures, cabinet stain, etc. I was overwhelmed, and Jason met me at the tile store to help with the design of the remodel of kitchen and bathroom. \nThe team was extremely efficient and well-scheduled. The project took about a month to complete, and there was only one day where someone was not working on my house.\nOverall, I was very happy with the quality of work. \nAfter everything was done, I realized that my dishwasher was not attached to the counter like it had been before. I called them and they came out to assess the situation. It took a few days, but it was fixed.\nI have had a couple of other minor issues, and they have been very responsive to come out and fix everything that I have called about.\nI felt like I could have had this work done for less money, but I paid more for quality workmanship, responsiveness, and customer service.

After 8 years of looking at white formica and white backsplash, I finally bit the bullet and called Signature. They have done lots of work in my neighborhood and I went down the street and looked at a kitchen they had done for an acquaintance. Really nice work- so I called for someone to come out and give me a bid. Jason, the owner, came out within a couple of days to take a look and I had a bid the next day. The amazing thing to me was how quickly they could put me on the schedule- within 2 weeks!! So I had to hurry up and make my selections and we were good to go. It is not that they don't have many jobs to do that enabled the quick service, but because they DO have lots of projects always going, keeping their crews working. NO subcontractors! Their crews are very professional, on time and do great work. They have a VERY efficient office staff who communicate with you daily and always have a prompt answer for any question or concern. I have read reviews by others that Signature is more expensive than other firms. If this is so, it is not by much and definitely worth every penny to deal with such a professional group. We had granite countertops, travertine backsplash, new sink and faucet and undercabinet lighting installed....in 5 days!!! I'm sure Signature will have more work in my neighborhood since I have already had many inquiries by my neighbors. A great company!

This remodel of our master bathroom was our first experience, and could have been a disaster, but it was such a good experience that I'm ready to do it again! Jason Flippo listened to what we needed and made suggestions to make it even better. All the workers (SHI employees, not subcontractors!) were professional, friendly and helpful. The office staff were helpful, calling daily to update us on progress andlet us know what was happening next. I'd definitely reccommend them to anyone!

SHI remodeled our kitchen and master bath, and we couldn't be more pleased. What sold is on this company was its reputation (and its use of employees versus a ton of subcontractors), and we were happy before, during, and after the remodel. Everyone in the office and on the job was respectful, helpful, professional, and courteous. We knew what to expect each step of the way, and there were no surprises or hidden costs at the end of the job. It almost seemed too easy! We made our selections of materials, and they handled everything else, making for a very stress-free experience for us. \n\nThe only thing that we would do over is to be extremely explicit in what we wanted done on the original quote - get every little thing on there. Not having done remodeling before, we were unaware of how important this was, but we had some minor corrections along the way and SHI was great about working these into the overall job.\n\nWe were very pleased with the results (beautiful!!), have recommended them to friends, and will use them in the future.

Signature Home Improvements owner, Jason Flippo, personally came out to inspect and submit a bid. He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He told us exactly what we needed, what steps would be taken and exactly what they would do and what we needed to do. We were impressed because there were no surprises. Horror stories that we have heard about remodeling are endless. Jason and his crew were professional, friendly and meticulous. The job was completed on time and well done. Follow-up was immediate and precise. Signature Home Improvements staff from beginning to end were delightful to work with and helpful in every way. I would recommend this company to friends and family.\r\nRandy and Judy Daugherty

I used Signature to complete a total remodel of my master bath and a partial remodel of both my guest bath and kitchen. After a lot of research, I went with Signature due to their ability to manage every aspect of the job. Using other services in the past, it is a nightmare trying to juggle multiple contractors at once. Signature made this a breeze as all i had to do was work with one person for all of the remodel activities.\n\nSignature was a pleasure to work with from the start. Jason was very open and helpful in providing advice and suggestions as to what I would be able to accomplish with the budget and time I allotted for the project. The quote process was easy and Jason did not push me to make a decision before i was ready. \n\nOnce the project got underway Savannah was great. She called me every day to provide me with a status update on what was completed and the list of items that were going to be addressed the remainder of the week. Everyone i dealt with along the way was pleasant, respectful and mindful of my schedule\n\nThe process of selecting the tile was easy as i used one of Signature's recommended vendors. They were patient and honest and guided me along the way of knowing what was in and out of my quoted cost. I chose my counter tops from existing inventory at signature. Because i chose from existing stock Jason let me upgrade for free. My counter tops are beautiful and everyone who has seen my kitchen loves the Shanghai river granite. \n\nAs mentioned in the beginning of my review, i chose Signature mostly because they use their own employees and coordinate everything. If there was a blip along the way, Jason, Savannah and others made sure it was fixed quickly. Again, all i had to do was call Savannah and it was taken care of within 48 hours\n\nThe quality of the work was excellent. The tile in the bathroom and kitchen was clean and done with great care. There were a few minor fixes required but Signature quickly corrected the issue. The counter tops came out spectacular. Signature really tried to do their best to cut the granite in a way that the seams would not be visible. The granite tops I went with were unique with a lot of veins and character. Signature made sure they spent the time with me to map out how the counters would lie once installed. \n\nI rated them 4 stars only because there were a few minor issues with the plumbing and paint but they corrected everything quickly. I would have chose 4.5 if allowed. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a company who can complete all aspects of a remodel and have employees who will are open and honest. I had Signature employees in and out of my home every day over 4 weeks and they were always respectful of my home and cleaned up each day after their work was completed. Having piece of mind that you do not have to worry about your valuables/property is something not every company can offer\n\nThe one piece of advice i have is to make sure you list everything you want to have completed in detail on the original quote. I had to modify the work list several times over the course of 3 weeks. Signature quotes by the job so to be fair for both Signature and yourself; make sure all items are captured on the original quote. Otherwise, any additional items to be added are quoted separately. \n\nBoth my wife and i are happy with the outcome and will use Signature for our next home improvement project in the future \n\n \n

In October we contracted with Signature Home Improvements to remodel our master bathroom, removing a large garden tub and replacing it with a large tiled handi-capped accessable walk-in shower. We are extremely pleased with the finished product. We are also appreciative of the daily follow through and completion of the project in a timely matter. Approximately 4 years ago we also used Signature Home to remodel our kitchen to our complete satisfaction. We were happy to be a repeat customer and heartily recommend Signature Home!

Full bath remodel, demo to studs, tub to shower conversion, custom cabinets, framless glass shower doors, bench and nitch inside shower, new faucets/grab bar/soap dish in shower, new sinks, faucets, granite countertop, plumbing, tile on floors, fully tiled to ceiling in shower, baseboards tiled, painted walls and ceiling, removed ceiling popcorn, electrical and lighting in shower and closet, mirrors, towel racks, etc. Had laundry room cabinets painted also.\n\nEstimate about the same as other bidders, but SHI was going to do it in half the time, I hired them for that not knowing until the job was completed - on time - that they are excellent. They provide stress free high-quality work and are worth every penny. SHI runs like a well-oiled machine with impressive scheduling and a noticeably professional staff. I was kept informed daily of all upcoming work. I'm remodeling my home one room at a time and Signature Home Improvements is by far the best contractor I've ever worked with and who I will use in the future. Excellent job with no surprises, no delays and no cost over-runs.

SHI remodeled our old shower into a beautiful walk in. he worked with us on the design and were very cooperative with issues we had and things we wanted done. They worked with us so we could use tile left from the original construction of the house. Final project exceeds our expectation.\n\nEmployees were professional and easy to work with.\n\nWe would highly recommend them for your project.

We recently had a wonderful experience with our kitchen remodel by SHI. This was a process that we took a lot of time to research, and we are very pleased that we chose SHI to use for the remodel. The initial bid was for cabinets to be stained, custom cabinet around a new counter depth refridge, back splash, granite counter top, removal of florescent box kitchen light, 12 can lights in kitchen and living room with new wall dimmer switches, under-cabinet lighting, in ceiling surround sound speakers , and finally painting the kitchen and living room. After some more thinking we also re tiled the fireplace and replaced our floors (hardwood, carpet and tile). Basically a whole downstairs remodel. \r\nWe signed the papers in June 2011, but we did not want to start the work until Labor Day time. We spent the summer time picking out all the materials so when the work was to begin everything was ordered and there would be no material surprises. We took our time picking it all out, matching the granite to backsplash and cabinet colors etc. (This was much harder than we had anticipated. )\r\nPrior to the first full work day we had a few people stop by for measurements and the electrician, Charles came to mark for placements of all the can lights (we have a 2 story house so it was not so easy). The demo group of employees; Amador, Humberto, Tara, Charles also came to check out what type of layout and work was to be done. Tara was early and came in and started working even before her peers arrived, you can tell this team works together well.\r\nOnce the demo was complete any sheet rock that needed repair was done and the new paint went all the walls (Amador, Humberto). When the cabinets were stained the scheduling of the staining was very mindful of our family, we did not want the fumes in the house over the weekend, so they waited until Monday to start the spray to make sure as few people were home as possible. SHI also made sure to bring many big fans and let us keep them for a few days to keep the fumes ventilated from the house.\r\n The 2 people that spent the most time at the house were Martin and Lonny. The tile guys- they did a fabulous job! Martin had some great suggestions on laying our backsplash and did a stellar job. Both Martin and Lonny laid the floor (travertine brick pattern with minimal grout lines), this took about 5 days. They were both always early to arrive and were very courteous to work with, very often keys were left out for them to come in and work in the house without any concern.\r\nThe custom cabinet is beautiful, though we did have a few concerns with its finished dimensions. Every time our concerns were discussed and the issue was resolved ASAP. Ventura, Carlos, Armanzo, & Adam were great to work with for the cabinetry and took the time to add the hardware and make sure everything was right down to the last day. This brings up the communication level: I give SHI a A+ on communication, Savannah who works in the office was our point of contact, is wonderful to work with. We received a daily phone call from her on how the work progressed and who and what would be happing the next work day. E-mail was our main form of communication, often with status pictures. Be sure and request that Savannah handles your build!\r\nOverall I would not hesitate to suggest SHI to my family or friends. Top class operation. Workers who know their trade. All items handled in house (ie no subcontractors to worry about), plus all the workers were very accountable for the job they did and the company stands by their work!! We are happy and our downstairs looks fabulous, we cannot wait to use them on another home project.\r\n

We recently moved into a house with a kitchen that dated from 1962 and definitely showed its age. Because the layout of the kitchen was great, we decided that refacing the cabinets would be the way to go. Jason helped us to make decisions as we chose the style and color of the cabinets, granite countertops, and tile backsplash. His team was great and we couldn't have been more pleased with the result. We expected a better kitchen but instead wound up with a beautiful kitchen. In addition to the cabinets, countertops and backsplash, Jason's crew replaced a window and a light fixture. All of the work was done quickly and efficiently. We would definitely hire Signature again if we had more work to be done.

Signature recently renovated both our master and guest bathrooms. We are VERY happy with the final product! Last year we had Signature remodel our kitchen and didn't think twice to call Jason and his team back to work on our bathrooms. They worked with us to stay within budget and still get the majority of the work done that we wanted. I would highly recommend giving Signature a call if you are interested in doing any home kitchen or bath remodeling. The entire team is very professional!

I have nothing but great things to say about SHI. \n\nI was looking for a company to manage my whole kitchen remodel from start to finish. I am a working Mom and don't have time to project manage these things. I had all my cabinets replaced, granite counter tops, new sink and new back splash.\n\nSo many things to like!!!\nThe company - they are local and small. Everyone is professional and very experienced. Best of all, they are responsive and caring. \n\nProject Mgmt - They have 3 people that project manage all their projects and they did a fabulous job coordinating all the different groups (electrician, cabinets, counters, plumber..etc.)\n\nDesign - LOVE IT! They have great experience in designing what I wanted. They had very good suggestions and listed to everything I wanted. I had last minute changes and they were able to execute without making me feel like I was putting them out. They were eager to please and do what I needed. \n\nEmployees - Everyone that came into my house was VERY professional and very experienced. They were all very respectful of me and my house and were VERY clean. When I came home each day, I never saw a mess, I was just delighted with the progress. They hire top notch employees.. OH.. YES they are employees! They don't outsource!\n\nI will use SHI for all home improvements going forward. I just wish there were more companies like this!

Our complete kitchen remodel over the summer left us really wanting coordinating cabinetry in the adjoining family room. We returned to SHI to design and built 15 feet of custom cabinets and bookcases, with hidden wiring for AV equipment, glass shelves, cabinet lighting, and wine storage drawers. They also removed a ceiling fan/light fixture and installed recessed lighting, crown molding, ceiling speakers and other AV system wiring, switched the AV system electrical over to a circuit with little use, patched drywall and painted.\n\nAll the equipment is a perfect fit because it was designed that way. It looks and sounds amazing! Installation took longer than we expected, but the results were worth the wait.
