I went to MOMO Laser Har Removal after endlessly trying other Laser Hair Removal places in NYC. MOMO Laser Hair Removal is absolutely the best in Manhattan. After the first treament, there was a noticible difference. After a only a few treatments I have hardly no hair. It is amazing that they did what no other place in New York City could do. I did extensive research before I decided to go to MOMO Laser Hair Removal. I called up some of the laser hair remocal places in New York City I saw online and I even went to a few of them to do a consultation. MOMO Laser Hair Removal was the best out of all of them in New York City. I felt at ease the moment I came in and everything was explained clearly. The technician who took care of me, Jessica, is the sweetest. I'm doing my legs and I love how smooth it is now! I love how I don't have to shave anymore. I go to Momo Laser to get laser hair removal and I?m very happy with the result. My arms feel smooth and hair-free. They?re very professional and friendly there. I can tell that they really care about their customers, unlike other places. It was also really nice of them to send me a birthday gift card! My own husband forgot to greet me on my birthday and it was a thoughtful surprise to get a greeting from Momo on my birthday! I?ve been wanting to do my upperlip, so I?m going back to use my gift card for it. Thanks again, Momo!!

I always had a problem with my facial hair. I have really dark hair on my chin and face. A friend told me about laser hair removal and I went to MOMO Laser. Not only did they take out my facial hair, but my face got brighter after the treatment! I thought it was just me, but the other nurses I work with have been complimenting me about my bright face. Even my attitude changed, I?m happier and more confident because I don?t have to hide my face. Thank you, MOMO!!

And it?s easy to park on the weekend cause they have valet parking on the weekend.

I?m getting married next March and this lady from the bridal shop told me about laser hair removal. They referred me to MOMO Laser Hair Removal where they have bridal packages. They have different packages to choose from and they helped me on which one works for me. I definitely recommend all the brides to do this before their wedding!

Jessica was my technician at her previous workplace, and I followed her here. She is amazing! Very thorough and really takes her time to remove every follicle.

This new place has a great perk, there's a wide selection of snacks and beverages. Very kind and thoughtful gesture from the owner. The space is huge, well lit, and most importantly - CLEAN. It may be located in crazy Times Square, but the moment you enter the space, it's pretty calming and relaxing.

if you're looking for a professional place to get your lasers done, I'd strongly recommend Momo. The owner has many years of experience, and based on her popularity at her previous work place, it's obvious she's the best out there.

I've come in for a few sessions and I find that my hair hasn't grown back. I love the results from MOMO Laser! My skin feels so smooth! I used to hate getting razor burns and bumps from shaving. I have always been plagued with course dark hair and a very light complexion. So even after shaving, my dark hair was still noticeable below the skin's surface, not to mention the irritation on the surface from shaving. From an early age I was very self conscious about my hair and it affected my choice of clothes and activities. The hair prevented me from wearing shorts or going to the beach, and shaving was a laborious painful event.

I have been to two other laser hair centers before going to MOMO and, in my experience, MOMO is by far superior! Jesica is my technician and she is so experienced and knowledgable that I know I am getting the best treatment possible. The lasers are brand new and state of the art. I never feel rushed and I can tell they value their customers. They even provide great snacks and drinks.

I have to say that MOMO has changed my life. My skin is smooth and almost hair free (still have a few sessions to go before being finished). I drive from the Jersey Shore to MOMO becuase they are the best and I recommend them to anyone with the same problem that I had! I don't make a lot of money so it is important to me how I spend it, and I can truly say that this is the BEST money I have ever spent. It's worth it!!!

Coming back to the office after a treatment... I had to share this with others....
I have been to a few laser places in my quest for permanent hair removal. I will say that out of all I find Mono laser hair removal to be BEST.
First is Location!!! If you are coming form NJ or any of the 5 boroughs they are literally around the corner from a hub of trains/bus stations. Then you have the amazing service from the moment you step.
A buffet to please you pallet and the immaculate facility to enjoy it during your very short wait. They are on point with the appointment times. You get a total package with the unbeatable service. The best part of all is when you have a technician that knows what they are doing!!! They truly give you the best service with outstanding results.

I am a little upset about all these untrue reviews that are posted on citysearch. I have gone to MoMo myself to see what all the fuss was about - and there is A LOT to fuss about. The place is truly wonderful. You can tell that the owner really cares about her clients. My entire life I have always been insecure because of my hair and my sensitive skin type, but the technician Jessica, really sat down with me and talked out my fears. She ensured me that all the lasers were new and would never scar me. And guess what, as I was being treated, I didnt even feel a thing. Plus they have a really nice AC system which kept all the rooms cool - which took the heat away from the Laser.
Getting laser work is a bit expensive so I'm not sure why so many ppl here are complaining about MoMo's prices. Did you think it was going to be a couple if dollars? No. However, being as stingy as I am, I have priced check other places, and these prices are reasonable for the work that she is doing. Also, she was even sooooo generous to give me a student discount which was WONDERFUL!!!
Please ppl, dont be fooled by the clowns here on citysearch who have written bad reviews against MoMo. The only reason I can think of is, is that they either have never been to MoMo or might be scared of some competition. This place is great!
And I won't even begin to tell you how great their staff are - and the fact that they treat you to snacks, tea, soda. Some of you might think that is no big deal but how many other companies do you know care enough about their clients to make them feel like home?

A coworker referred me to MOMO. It's a great place. Really nice, friendly staff. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming. I felt really comfortable there. I've had laser done before and had some bad experiences. Momo Laser is very gentle and they explained things well. I definitely recommend this place!

I tried to treat my back. The girl gave me a price that was expensive. I did not understand most everything else that she was saying. Not busy , just me. I did not like that. There was an Asian man reading newspaper inside. I will try another place before I decide.

I've been a client of Jessica's for a couple of years when she was at her previous place of employment. I followed her to Momo when she opened her own business. I've gone to other technicians over the years and NONE are as caring, thorough, understanding and gentle as Jessica. I have NEVER had a problem with any area she's treated -- and believe me -- she's treated my entire body.

I feel like a new person now -- the freedom involved with being hair-free is indescribable.

Don't believe the negative reviews -- there is a lot of sabotage out there. Momo is a new, start-up business, run by an incredibly experienced laser hair technician. The office is clean, and beautiful and the vibe is warm and welcoming (unlike other places in the city).

I was really nervous at first because I've never had laser hair removal before. Momo was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I finally decided to go. The place is really pretty and very presentable. And clean! The staff was friendly and the technician made me feel really comfortable and explained everything. I would definitely recommend Momo. Easy to find and close to the train.

I have been Jessica's client for years. She has always tried to pay special attention to me and my needs but was booked back to back. I used to be rushed through my previous appointments with her at her previous place of employment. I always had anxiety during my appointments as there was tension with the employers and employees so it had affected me as well.

Now that I had seen MoMo and how beautiful it was and that there was such a zen feel about it... I feel so much calmer seeing her. She took her time and we were able to chat as she worked. No anxiety this time around. She's running the show and I'm truly happy for her.

Please do not believe some of the other reviews- you can always tell when competition is trying to sully people's views on a new business. Citysearch is for people to get honest reviews and not watch this ugly display of competition.

You know how when you feel the butterflies in your stomach at the Dentist? Not here I recommend MOMO's due to the spectacular work they do, they really know how to take care of you. It's worth every dollar I have spent. I've done this twice before at this other place so I came here for my third treatment (my friend goes here she said I had to feel the difference here) and the woman really knows how to calm you down, and the outcome was spectacular.

by far i must admit this place seems like it's going to be the next ' it ' place for hair laser removal. the place is very up to date + everyone here is amazingly courteous. i think they did a superb job for me, only because i have so much work to get done then my job has long hours so they work with you. i'm indian so i have thick hair + ingrown hair on my chin and neck. the treatment was well worth the money because i just got this done two weeks ago and already great results. the ingrown hair is all gone which amazes me and my confidence has gone up im not always hiding. thank you guys at MOMO Laser Hair Removal

I found MoMo thru the recommendation of a friend who personally knew one of the workers here. My friend told me that there is a dependable hair removal place here in the city where I can actually be treated well while still being comfortable with my face. Note that after trying some other places here I was frustrated with the services and just about to accept my embarrassing facial hair. I am so glad to have listened to my friend and take my last strand of hope with MoMo. My facial hair is pretty much gone. I'm even thinking about getting my underarm and bikini done once I finish. This place is surreal compared to the other places I've been to.

i just got some stuff done just in time for my party and summer. the price is the same anywhere really in the city especially.

i think the people here have been experienced for over 10+ years because they all keep up to date and leave around these papers and even explain to you.

i recommend this place to any girls who have to look fantabulous this summer =D

I'm dark skinned with ingrown hair on my legs from shaving. I feared going to a laser hair removal and even though I was nervous, she explained to me and assured me so well that I felt much better and comfortable. I got it done for my first time. Now my legs look way better. She also gave me cream how nice of her.
I too recommend this place; very well mannered. Take it from me ladies, hairy legs are not going to be in anytime soon.

Wow laserman, I just read your review. There is no way you're the same person. I just met the person in charge of the machines who talked me into using their latest version of the other models. I know this because the rep was a WOMAN not a MAN liar.

Anyway, I came in here through a friend. I loved it all. They serve you like a queen, I met this other woman here who's been with one of the techs here. She told me how awesome the tech was and how she's been with her for years now.

I can't disagree no more, I know I took up her time asking so many questions but she still took the time to explain everything and so did the laser machine saleswoman.

Not sure why anyone would write such hateful things against this place but take it from me. They have brand new everything.

New York ambiance but the hospitality is speechless. Very hard to find. I originally bought a packge of 12 but had to cut to 6 due to my job loss. They didn't hesitate. They understood. I must say the one thing I know about the owener is that she's very understanding and will never screw anyone over. I have always been with her, she has these new state of the art lasers where you can't even feel as much pain compared to some places. You can tell a big difference even after you're done.

Jessica session was a fantastic experience and we really appreciate the passion she has for her craft - as well as her superior beauty/laser skills. best wax and service by far they're great!!
I have tried many places and i was impressed with there knowledge on wax it was excellent.
coming from south beach, i wasn't sure how different it'd be.

their appointments start on time which is definatly new for me. they really take good care of you and the laser is gentle and they take every measure possible for painless hair removal.

also, the aestheticians or technician are extremely gentle and friendly. this is truly the only place I will go from now on.

I was drawn to the place based off of their company's name, looking from the outside you would never imagine walking into this very zen/poshy upscale hair removal place.

I must say this is one of the only few in the City who walks the walk.

When you first walk in they greet you and even help you fill out all of your paperwork. Then to the munchies- so fresh and healthy. In the consultation I met with a very splendid young woman who walked me through all of the processes and steps to get to where I want to get to. She insisted on telling me the process even though I was experienced because I was a new client and because she wanted me to feel comfortable.

I rarely ever go on these things to rate unless I truly believe a company deserves it. I must say this company is genuine and makes me comfortable in every way.

I seen some of their ad's and coupons, thought I would try it out.

I read some reviews but reviews don't always mean the truth.

I went there with a coupons. They treated me so well, greeting me straight from the door.

Turns out the consultation was free, free snacks beverages.

I have a skin condition, and they told me that I should get a dr's note first to make sure it's okay so that my skin won't react.

I was very happy with the consultation that they were honest enough to tell me all of this rather than only coming after my money.

I highly recommend this place because there's only a few places where they actually look out after you than looking out after your money.

I've been to a lot of hair removal places and this has to be the best. First impressions of the place were that it's very calm, clean, and welcoming. All the staff were extremely friendly and the technician was knowledgeable and patient with me. She explained the process and I really got the feeling that she cared about how I felt about getting laser treatments and about my results. I didn't feel like I was rushed or being "sold" a service. The place just looked amazing and the first treatment was nearly painless. Overall, it was even less painful than waxing, for me. The best part was that it worked! Great prices, great service, great people. Highly recommended. I've never done a review before, but I was just so happy with how it all turned out.

I was embarrassed to even come in here due to the fact that I am a male.

I looked up city search before I went there. I read all the reviews for each company. I felt like some of these companies had some false advertisements as I called to ask about pricing and etc.

I walked into Momo and there were a lot of women staring at me. As soon as I met with this Korean woman who I think everyone should ask for; she made me feel comfortable.

I am willing to get some work done, well I have to for my wedding. I think I?ll consider getting it done even after the wedding.

I think the price range was a fair price. Like I said I?ve called other places and I think it was down to this place and one other place.

Anyone who needs to get work done like this should go to that Korean woman at Momo. Oh and call them ahead and ask about that deal.

I know the owner of this place for a long time now. I started first with my underarms and then I got hooked and did the whole body. My family got jelous of my smooth skin and I hooked them too. Now summer is here and we all happy and ready for the beach, thanks to MOMO and the owner who's so carring and professional and their stuff. I can't wait for them to open up in Florida where I live also, and bring my friends there too. We thank you MOMO for your great work, for your hospitality, and your professionalism.

I'm not sure what Mart4555 & kimrt56 was talking about I think you're the same person just upset over personal issues. I know the laser technician and she knows I fear hair laser removal. I personally got the best treatment from Jessica and she made sure it was painless. She had 4 other clients and she still took the time to take good care of me. Jessica is extremely professional and infallable service. Also she advised me there is a 20% off coupon, which she let me use today. I highly recommend this place!

My co-worker told me about this place by our area of where we work. Right by the trainstation so it's on the way home. I went there at 5:30 after work and they were extremely packed for a new place. I was skeptical to go in because I read some bad reviews but it turns out they were the opposite of what those bad reviews said. I've been getting laser hair removal for about couple of years now and I know enough to know whether a company uses new machines or not. This place bought brand new machines, furniture, and remodeled the entire place. This place almost feels like a spa. I'm not sure why anyone would bad mouth this woman Jessica, I'm pretty sure she is the owner not sure. But that woman went by procedures and added in a couple of new things I have never experienced. I never review places unless it's really bad or really great, and this place was really great. Quality over quantity- hands down this place beats the price of other laser hair removal places in Manhattan.

I just want to share my experience here, maybe for other people it will be helpful... I was a customer at R&J and I left because I was not satisfied with his service and their attitude towards the customer. This place is a disaster!!! I wait for a consult 35minutes and still wasn't greited by anyone. The technician was nice, that's what got me to sign for their treatment, but, when I come for the second treatment, other technician came and treat me and she burns me. I was sore for a week on my upper lip, and thinking never want to go back, or do laser again. But my doctor recomand me to continue with the laser till the problem on my upper lip is solved, so, he recomand this laser place MOMO. I could not tell you what a difference, day and night. I was so impressed about the owner Jessica and her professionalism, the cleanest treatment rooms ( not like in R&J small rolls of hair in the corners of the room flying around! ) and their new machines! I have no burns, no pain, a nice cup a coffee at the end and a big smile on my face, going outside with confidence(instead of tears!) If u looking for a peaceful experience and a sublime atmosphere, this is the place...indeed, a pleasure. Thanks to the owner Jessica, now I have my confidence back....

I'm writing a review because I just finish my experience with this great place MOMO. I am happy that I try before other centers, and not so satisfied with the service, -now I can see the difference -even got burns...From the begining, the service is spectacular, and the perfectionism shows. I met the owners of this place in Florida in vacantion, and decided to come to their place in NYC. They are very attentive and explains everything about the latest technology and equipment they have. I am very pleased with my only one treatment so far, and I will return for more, because the amasing result got me addicted. And finally I have no more ingrows, even after one treatment. Who can not be happy with that???

I just want to drop a note for everybody who's doing their home work looking for great things and services, saying that, me and my girlfriend we really enjoyed our treatment at MOMO Laser Hair Removal. We heard so much about this place, so, we could not resist not to come and experience this place. We've been all over the big centers...but this center, is spotless and the owner is very knowledgeable about lasers, and the prices were great, like the specialists also. You don't understand how easy it is until you try it!!! We are virtually hair free now, after 6 sessions and we love our baby skin. No more worries for the summer time. This place is just amazing! Take it from me who has already been to another laser hair removal place, this place is incredible. I felt so comforable and safe. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by the wonderful staff who asked if I wanted something to eat or drink. As I looked around, this place is beautiful and clean! I got a lot of areas treated that day and the tech was great! She listened to all of my concerns and was considerate of my skin type. The machines were awesome and didn't hurt a bit! I didnt even need to ice myself afterwards. The process was quick and painless. The rooms all had AC which is great because you don't feel the laser at all. Why would you go anywhere else, when you can get the best treatments done at MOMO!! You'd be a fool to waste your money at any other place.

After trying two other places with mediocre results, my co-worker recommended going to MOMO. I saw her results and was impressed, so I decided to give laser hair removal another shot - and I am so grateful that I did! Even after my first treatment here I saw results... it really is remarkable and now I understand what all the hype is about. PLUS, the staff is very friendly, the office is super clean and ultra modern - they even have a drink/snack station available which I thought was pretty neat.

I've known the owner for the past 2 years. because of her i didn't have to worry about shaving or waxing before i come out. Her new place MOMO is elegant and different from every other laser place. Momo the next Hottest Laser Removal place in town! Besides the fact that the place is so beautiful & elegant, - their personal rooms are so comfortable, with new state of the art machines that felt sooo smooth; A/C in every room, coffee station to sit back and relax.
