I will only bring my dogs to Dr. Duncan, he has been wonderful to us & our pets. He was so sympathetic & understanding in treating our elderly dog for his last 2 years of life. When he sold his father's business in Spring, and moved to the Heights, we followed. We tried 4 other vets in Spring before deciding to make the drive to the Heights to treat our 2 dogs. Prices are comparable to other vets, some slightly higher but you get what you pay for, quality care & personal attention - well worth the drive & the money!
Heights Hospital for Animals provides solid veterinary care and it's a great addition to The Heights and surrounding areas. I transferred the files of my pets from 1701 Montrose Blvd to this clinic and I've not regretted my decision. Dr Duncan is experienced, caring, and he's actually "present" in the exam room when he's checking the health of my boys. You do get what you pay for when you take your pets to this professional, conveniently located, reasonably priced, and extremely clean facility. Plus, you don't have to deal with attitudes at the reception desk.
the fees charged are reasonable compared to the other vet i used to see. and i'm willing to pay for the genuine affection my animals get there. dr. duncan offered to follow me to my house and help me get my dog, who'd injured his leg, out of my car, and he did it. i'd like to know of any other vet who would go that far for a client.
I have 3 dogs and I have recently changed from Banfield to Dr. Duncan at Heights Hospital for Animals. The whole staff is great and you can tell they all love animals. I love the personal attention that I didn't get at Banfield. I think their prices are reasonable and competitive. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: Very good personal attention
Cons: Haven't found any yet
This place charges $50.00 for office visits, $50.00 for skin allergy shot, $50.00 for every little thing. I would never pay these prices. Let's see how this new facility stays in business.
