The Crocker Club, located in the basement of the former Crocker Citizens National Bank building, you'll now find an awe-inspiring labyrinth of rooms and hidden corners that takes you back to another era. Dramatically set inside the former Crocker Citizens National Bank building, the more than 6,0000-square-foot lounge features an honest-to-god bank vault door, which serves as the entrance to the "Mosler Lounge" portion of the bar. The adjacent "Ghost Bar" is a spacious area of the lounge, which features comfortable couches and restored 1920s-era ceilings. In between the "Ghost Bar" and the Mosler Lounge (the bank vault drinking area) you'll find several semi-private studio rooms, where small groups of friends can drink in privacy. Need another round of drinks for your posse? Just call out and a cocktail server will arrive to the individual suites to take your drink order.

Unique Decore, Good Ambiance, Crappy Service

by phaithful

The ambiance and decor of the Crocker Club are very nice. The old bank vault gives it a nice touch. Although it seemed like a really slow night, the scene was still pretty cool.

My gripes come from the service since it absolutely sucked! Our server Estella is one of those waitresses that is a drink pusher. We asked her about the red wines, of which there were only 4 to select from. Claiming to be a connoisseur Estella kept pushing the most expensive one while affirming our preferences for a rounded mellow wine with a clean finish. Of course, we ended up with quite the opposite in a hard tannic wine.

Near the end of the night, we had asked for waters which took over 30 minutes to get delivered after asking 3 separate time. Not exactly responsible club etiquette.

To top it all off after waiting another 40 minutes for the bill, Estella tried to stick us with another parties bill on top of our own.

Go to the Crocker Club for a good time and the ambiance, but avoid the wine and definitely DEFINITELY don't get Estella as your server.

Cons: service

Unique Atmosphere

by BuckeyeGirl

I went to the Crocker Club on a Friday night with some friends and had a great time. This bar has a very unique decor, it used to be an old bank so it has an interesting feel to it. The drinks were reasonably priced and the bartenders were very attentive. If you are looking for a place to dance this is definitely not the place, but if you want to catch up with friends over drinks or take your date to a nice intimate place, then this is the spot.

Pros: Not overcrowded

Great New Bar in Downtown

by lisala1982

I went to The Crocker Club on friday night and I absolutley loved it! This is the coolest new bar I've been to in a long time. It's in the basement of an old bank vault and the space is beautiful. If you are going out in downtown, i definitely recommend stopping by The Crocker Club.

Pros: great space, awesome music, good drinks

Downtowns New "It" Spot

by Ngwebifor

If you are hosting a private party, special event or just want to chill on a Saturday for free and no "list" then, The Crocker Club is worth checking out.

It's rare that I would consider giving an establishment with a line 4 stars, however The Crocker Club is the exception. I have worked with dozens of club owners and managers, this was the first time where the team as on point and on hand. They made sure everything ran perfect for the event we hosted.

Yes, there was a line, but the line was actually due to capacity, not just some obnoxious doorman overdoing his job. I don't think they expected the large crowd, but they were accommodating and that is what real service is about.

If you are downtown stop by for Happy Hour, say hey to the doorman, ask for Mark to fix your drink and introduce yourself to Giovanni, the cutie manager.

Pros: Simply Sophisticated

Cons: Possibility of a line

Avoid the Crocker Club at all costs

by downtownbubu

Crocker Club is absolutely horrible. Please avoid this place. I have never been treated so rudely at the door. Their dress code is just stupid, the drinks are overpriced and the venue is cold.

The doormen have no respect for people and are so obnoxious they respond to you by name after they read your ID, which would be nice if they weren't insulting you to your face. My friends and I make enough money to buy their overpriced drinks and deal with their bad service, but the insults at the door are too much. I understand this is the owner's first stand alone venture after years of running Hollywood bars. Apparently nobody gave him the message that Downtown is a completely different crowd than Hollywood. Never go to the Crocker Club, ever.

Pros: None

Cons: doormen, dress code, prices, service and quality of drinks.

Rude doorman, overpriced, slow service...not worth it!

by sierraalphamike

I went to the Crocker Club last night to meet my friends for a birthday party. When we arrived at the door, dressed appropriately, the doorman (an African-American gentlemen with short hair) said, "Hi guys we are only holding private parties this evening." So I told him that we were here for my friend's birthday party and he wouldn't let us in because we didn't have any girls with us. After we got a hold of my friends inside, they came up and we eventually got in. As we walked downstairs, the place was pretty much empty (on a Friday night) but still had to wait 15-20minutes to get our first drink from the bar. The girls said the same doorman was giving them a hard time too! Overall everything was way overpriced, everyone there was stuck up, service was really slow at the bar, and we ended up leaving after a couple drinks. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you enjoy the typical club doorman BS. If it were an actual club, that would be one thing, but it's just a fancy bar that's trying to be something it is not. Two thumbs down for the Crocker Club....sorry

Pros: Cool concept (old bank turned into a bar)

Cons: Rude doorman, slow service, expensive drinks, loud
