duncan quinn opened his first store in NoLIta in 2003 helping to recapture style at a time when chinos and polos were considered de rigeur. GQ immediately coined the phrase, "Savile Row meets Rock 'n Roll" to describe his timeless, yet edgy and modern clothes. He was voted "Best Custom Tailor" in New York by New York Magazine in 2006 for his bespoke suits and received the Fashion Group International's "Rising Star" award for ready to wear menswear in 2007. His collections of ready to wear and bespoke clothing have received editorial coverage around the world in the NYT, GQ, Departures, Fortune, Men's Vogue and numerous others. Items are made using artisanal methods, with handmade ties, shirts, suits and accessories available in limited ready to wear selections or by special 'bespoke' order.

This is a really nice store.. I got my husband some ties there and also I bought a few ties for gifts for other male relatives and friends. I also pick up a few dress shirts as well. The price was affordable, not cheap, but fair.

This place is great. I got a few ties and I look sharp, believe you me. My buddy picked up an umbrella. Next time I'm in there, I'm checking out the shoe collection, and the cuff links. The whole store breeds style. Duncan is the man.

Duncan knows his sh*t. I got a few ties and a pair of cufflinks with his signature logo on them. Very hip, the ties beautifully cut, great materials. I'm going in for a suit soon. This man knows his stuff.

This store is in my neighborhood and I have to say, I'm not sure why the previous reviewer sounds so hostile. His other CitySearch reviews are all similar.
I bought two suits from Duncan Quinn, who himself mans the store most days, and spent just over $2K on each of them. They both fit like nothing I've ever worn. The staff knows how to measure a guy and when I did need an adjustment, they got it done in a couple of days.
I don't wear suits very often, but I've never owned garments that elicit such compliments on my appearance from other well-dressed people, gentlemen and ladies alike, as when I go out with these suits. They are definitely unique?in a good way.
I would not hesitate to get another DQ suit/shirt/tie/cufflink set, etc. at all.
Pros: Great fitting, stylish suits and shirts. Not some average *office* look.
Cons: You gotta dig deep for this stuff.
