Brian D. Perskin - Divorce & Family Attorney at Law

My divorce is finally over after a long battle with my husband and his lawyers. Every step of the way, Brian stood up for me and kept me calm. My husband and his lawyers were trying to force me to take his settlement offer, Brian advised me to wait and that they were unrealistic. I followed his advice and when my husband " woke up," and realized that my lawyer was not going to back down, we came to a fair settlement. Through the entire process, Brian kept me calm, during probably the worst time of my life. I had been married for 15 years and relied upon my husband for everything. He thought I would back down and take what he offered. With a tough lawyer on my side, I remained calm and fought for what my kids and I deserved. I will be eternally grateful for his advice and support over the last few years.

Brian Perskin is a great matrimonial attorney. He is very experienced, knowledgeable, and straighforward. Brian is not one of those attorneys who charges literally for every email or telephone call. He tries to keep your bill affordable-as a good attorney should. If you respect him, he will work with you. He is a nice person to work with and he was very helpful to me. I enjoyed my association with him. That's very rare among attorneys that I know.

Brian knows the family law. His expertise reduced my anxiety and some of the pain of the process. His attention to detail and quality of communication resulted in a timely divorce and an equitable settlement. During all phases of the process Brian Perskin was on point.

During a very painful and emotional time for my entire family, Brian Perskin, Esq. and his Associates, armed with solid knowledge of the Law, professionalism, and the willingness to go the distance on his clients behalf, made what could have been a horrendous experience into a fair case where my voice was heard. I approached Mr. Perskin with a complex case and a lot of emotion and he simply did an excellent job. He was unwilling to compromise himself or his client and the outcome was a great win after what had been the worse experience of my life. I have been in your shoes or worse. Call him. It will be the best decision you have ever made. For the first time in a long time, I can sleep; that's from my heart. No one asked me to write this review, but if it can help someone else, I would write it on the walls!

I retained Brian services last year when I was being taken to court for joint custody. At the time my daughter had just turned one years old and I was very concerned about her well-being. Brian understood my concerns but also was able to stay unbiased when it came to my daughter. He protected my rights as a parent as well as really taking into account what would best for my daughter.

Brian is a great lawyer and person. I was going through a very painful time and when I walked into Brian's office I felt comfortable right away. I explained to him my situation and how I wanted an annulment and not a divorce and he told me he could take care of it!! Any questions I had after I left that office...he would always be there to answer them. He got the anullment much faster than I thought and for a good price! I would recommend Brian to anyone in this situation. Thank you so much...now I'm free :) krista

My brother and I had a top of the line experience with Mr. Perskin. After my sister-in-law filed for custody of my niece and nephew in Queens, my brother cross-petitioned the filing and hired Mr. Perskin. From the get go, Mr. Perskin worked diligently to persuade the judge that the mother was an aggressive unsuitable mother for the children. Mr. Perskin pointed out key facts to the judge about the mother's behavior and the children's attorney appointed by the court also sided with Mr. Perskin after the findings were confirmed. I don't have enough words to thank Mr. Perskin for his excellent, positive and aggressive attitude in my brother's case. My brother is now relieved that the children now live in a safe environment.

At the worst time of my life, when everything around me felt like it was collapsing and I had no idea where to begin, I found Brian Perskin and his office staff. I never thought I would find myself in this situation in a million years, divorcing the love of my life. Mr. Perskin, his associates and staff explained to me the process of divorce in terms I could understand. They were professional, focused and timely about the process and they were genuinely concerned about my well being and my rights. It's tough to find someone to advocate for you in any situation, but in a divorce, there is so much emotion, loss and sorrow, regardless of the situation. It is a frightening process with a language of its own. Mr. Perskin and his staff answered my endless questions with professionalism and generosity. I know that the only reason that I was able to get through this horrendous time of my life was because I found the better person to represent me, my loss, my needs, and my best interest. I can't say that about anyone else I have ever come across. If you need a divorce and family attorney, empower yourself and call him.

When you are going through a divorce the first step is making sure that you have someone strong behind you. Someone who knows the law, your rights and someone who will have your best interest as a priority. Brian from the very beginning was always upfront and honest. He was always very informative and able to break down the legal lingo for me. He was able to help me separate the emotions from the agreement and helped me work out a fair settlement. After the divorce was finalized we still had some issues and Brian was the first person that I called. He immediately put me at ease with what the next steps would be and how I could protect myself and my children.

Divorce is a long and sometimes painful event. Brian has made the entire process a lot easier and has helped me put things into perspective. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone going through a divorce.

Brian represented me in my divorce over two years ago.
Not only was he always available to me but my divorce went completely in my favor because of his knowledge. I have recommended Brian to a few friends and they were extremely pleased with his services as well. He went above and beyond to make sure I always understood what was going on through all of the proceedings. I am positive my ex-husband does not feel the same way about Brian. LOL.

Brian fought for me every step of the way. He did this by looking out for my best interests and those of my kids. My ex hired a big firm but Brian ran circles around them. He is tough but fair. MOst improtant, he was tehre when I needed him to be. He is the best!

I went to Brian with an extremely complicated divorce case. My case had custody issues, issues with the division of marital property. There were also issues with alimony and child support. All of this made for a very complex case. Brian kept me informed throughout the process and made sure that I understood my options at every point in the process. Due to his hard work and wealth of knowledge my divorce ended very well for me financially. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a lawyer for a divorce.

I hired Brian after not being satisfied with my prior lawyers. Brian listened to everything I had to say, and fought for me against supposedly the best divorce lawyers in the City. He advised me not to settle until I got everything I deserved. Now my ex husband is complaining that he is paying me too much money for support. I was able to stay in our apartment and our kids remained in private school. I cannot say enough about the hard work that he put into my case

Brian's been a great help in a difficult time. He knows the system inside and out - no small feat, considering NY's quirky divorce laws. He's very quick to respond to my questions via email, and he's been there for me through this whole process. I highly recommend him.
