I went through 2 other plumbers and then finally found James, with The Plumbinator. I had already spent almost $300 to NOT fix the problem. I had a slow leak that only showed up randomly. First, James came the day after I called and started trying to find where the leak was coming from. That cost me nothing! Then we had to wait for the leak to show up again and when it did I called and he came out just a few hours later. After extensively checking all possible areas (none of the prior plumbers did this), then found the leak. He was very patient and took his time. He did fix the problem and only charged for the time he started physically working, not when he started looking for it. I was and am extremely pleased and thankful. I have already told my firends and neighbors about them. So, stop the search and call James and The Plumbinator!

This is a long review -- if you're in a plumbing panic and don't have time to read it, just CALL THE PLUMBINATOR. You will be happy you did!

I came home from running errands, and OMG. The carpet is damp, the baseboard's warped -- WTF? It's a game day Saturday in the suburbs of Austin, and I need a plumber.

Having had a lousy experience with The Humongous Ooter Plumber on simple toilet repairs, I was really not looking forward to trying to find a good plumber on a weekend.

So...thanks to all you CitySearchers, I found The Plumbinator's reviews, and crossed my fingers that they would be okay.

They were more than okay -- Mickey and James were THE BEST.

I got prompt phone calls back early Sunday morning, and since Mickey was going out of town, he assured me that his friend James was good and could help. If my doctor had as soothing a bedside manner, I'd never worry about a medical thing again.

James showed up an hour later, gave me an idea of the two likely sources for the issue, quickly determined our problem was the cheaper of the two, fixed it, and showed me how to maintain my condensation drain so it would be unlikely to happen again. His professional and thorough work was about 1/7 the cost of what The Awful Ooter Guys would likely have charged.

If you have any plumbing problems, call these guys. And then share the love with other CitySearchers -- The Plumbinator is truly 5-star-worthy.

I am so grateful that I stumbled across The Pluminator so early in home ownership. I always dreaded something breaking in our house because it meant I'd have to search the yellow pages for 1-800 numbers where I feel so disconnected that I have to call more than one number to put myself at ease about the price I'm going to be spending. And then never really being satisfied or having an experience where I actually remember who did what job, so the next time something happens I'm starting all over again. After experiences with those shops I'm completly aware of The Plumbinators geniune concern for taking care of their customers, not taking advantage of them. I also love how personable they are, I really do feel completely at ease when they are in my home. They've serviced us twice now and I always leave the experience feeling good about the work done and feeling good about what I've paid. And being from Austin I love the idea of supporting a local business where I can actually know my plumbers name & a little about the family. So much that I am writing this review (my first review ever to write) to ensure that I am doing my part to take care of them like they've taken care of my family.

This was the first time that I?ve had to call on a Plumber so I was very apprehensive. After doing some research I chose ?The Plumbinator? because of their positive customer feedback and the fact that they appeared well-equipped to handle any number of problems. I really struck gold with these guys! I couldn?t dream of a more honest or knowledgeable Plumber than with Mickey. He and his son showed up right on time and were nothing but professional until they were done. They showed me EXACTLY what my problems were and then we discussed my options (YES, they gave me options!!!).
Bottom line = you need a Plumber, Call the Plumbinator!!

We had never used a plumber in Austin before, so we read other's reviews of the Plumbinator, and we were not disappointed. Mickey came out to our house on his day off to fix a ground leak. He was personable, kind, considerate, and best of all, very honest, upfront and caring for the best interest of our family. The leak turned out to be a bigger job than he had anticipated, and although his family was coming into town that evening, he stayed on the job late until it was fixed, and would not leave until he made sure all of the home's pipes were clear and safe. After all of that, he still only charged us what he promised to from the beginning, and that was already a good deal cheaper than what other plumber's quoted for the same job. We feel we found a plumber for life, and a friend as well. We could not recommend Mickey (The Plumbinator) enough. Thank you Mickey!

Mickey and his son Kenny worked incredibly hard and resolved a serious leak in my bathroom. These guys do it the old fashioned way. They tell you what's wrong, they fix what's wrong and they provide quality workmanship at a fair and affordable price. This is a family business that's a throwback to the way things use to be done and you seldom see anymore. It also, was truly a pleasure to be around these guys. No greed driven corporate attitude here, just an old fashioned self-driven work ethic.I trust not only their workmanship but their integrity as men. I'm writing this review in appreciation and thanks for a job truly well done! If there were more than 5 Stars, I would give them 10. THANKS !!!

The Plumbinator came out within two days of calling in order to repair a water leak in my yard. It was nice doing business with a local, family owned business. Mickey and his son were very friendly and explained exactly what the problem was, the cost of the repair and how much time it would take. I was happy with the quality of service and the cost of repairs. Mickey gave me options and verbal quotes on some optional plumbing work in another area. I plan on doing business with him again and would recommend him to my friends and family.

This company did what they said they would do. Showed up when they said they would, fixed my toilet, and cleaned up after themselves and charged me what they quoted me.
Gotta love a man who upholds his word.

I am very impressed with the service. The son came out the first time and ran into a difficult issue and was not able to 100% resolve it the first time. So the owner came out the second time, ran into the same issue but after interviewing us for a while was able to determine the problem and resolve it. The Plumbinator wants to earn your business and I respect that. He was honest and didn't jack us around or charge us for the second visit even though I offered him money. Rare find!!

I was shocked when The Plumbinator was actually on time - even a few minutes early! And that was just the beginning of the excellent, courteous service. He replaced my leaking kitchen faucet and warn out disposal and it looks great. The prices are really reasonable too. This is a plumber you can actually trust. Who knew such a thing existed! Thank you Plumbinator!

We had a pipe leaking underground which was flooding our backyard and causing other problems. We got a handful of estimates one which was doubled the price that Mickey quoted us. Mickey came out, did the work in a timely manner and was completely honest with us. Over all this was the best experience we could of had in a bad situation.

I had all but lost my faith in local businesses due to some really unprofessional people. When my shower faucet would not turn off, causing my water bill to soar, I was tempted to call a big named company. I decided to let these guys come and at least give me an estimate. From the first moment (they came ON time..big plus) Mickey and James arrived, I felt totally at ease. They were respectful and courteous, which is often lacking these days. They immediately identified the problem and let me know what we needed to do. They gave my fiancee and I time to talk it over, and we felt very comfortable giving them our business. They had it fixed in a jiffy and looking better than before, replacing our old fixtures as well. We had the misfortune of having our AC flood the same day they had come in, and Mickey was nice enough to help us and even point us in the direction of another local business to take care of the damage. I can't say enough about these guys, they were truly a blessing during this new homeowner's ordeal!

I would like to recommend a really excellent plumber. Each time I have used Mr. Womack, he was prompt, professional and polite. His estimates have been fair and each time he stayed within or under the estimate. He was honest, knowledgeable and it was totally refreshing to deal with a young man with character. I hope you never need a plumber but when you do, you cannot go wrong by calling Mr. Womack at the Plumbinator. Allynne

Mickey and James came out to my house to look at a leak that under my furnace. They promptly arrived at the set time and quickly got to work. They fixed the cause of the leak and, then, went above and beyond to fix another issue that they found. They charged me a fair price. I will always use James and Mickey for all my plumbing needs in the future.

When my toilet overflowed all over my floor, I was hysterical! Wow, you never think about plumbing until you can't go to the bathroom.

I had heard about Mickey from some friends so I called. He was there within 30 minutes and fixed me right up. I appreciated his warm nature and he treated me like family. He worked with my budget to set a fair price. Plus, who wouldn't love that logo? Death to high prices, indeed!

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse I opened my water bill and it was $457.83. I called my dad and told him that my water bill was really high and he suggested that I contact the Plumbinator. So I called the Plumbinator and he arrived when he said he would. During his inspection he found the leak out in the front yard. Thanks to Mickey The Plumbinator my water bill will be back to normal next month. Mickey is a very outstanding plumber and I will reccomend him to everyone that has plumbing issues. CALL THE PLUMBINATOR there are no disappointments.

Mickey and James did a great job for us. They were there right on time to give me an estimate and actually arrived early to start the job! Mickey gave us an estimate for the work plus went over any possible problems that might arise and what they would cost. I appreciate knowing up front what the range could be for the cost of a job. The job went smoothly, so no need for the additional stuff. The price Mickey quoted me was less than half of what a second company quoted me, and when I told the other company what the bid from Mickey was, he tried like crazy to get close, but couldn't. I really appreciate Mickey's approach to pricing and I really appreciate the careful way he and James treated my house. I will call them every time I need a plumber! You should, too!

Mickey responded right away to my phone call and set up a time that was convenient for me. Not a time frame, but an actual time! And they were at my house ON TIME. This is a big plus for me. Mickey and James explained everything up front and quoted me a price for clearing a clog in my tub. They fixed the problem very quickly and cleaned up afterward. These are down-to-earth plumbers who really know their business. Highly recommended!

BEST PRICING AROUND. We needed our bathrooms (3 1/2) and kitchen updated and Mickey knocked it all out quickly and with a smile. He made sure that we were completely satisfied with his work. We keep talking about and showing off his work to our friends and family.

Mickey Womack is a professional in every way, but he's also very down to earth. He's reasonable and honest, and will tell you the various ways in which he can fix your problem. If he sees something in your house that needs to be done differently, whether it's plumbing or not, he'll give you suggestions. He will also, if asked, do little things around the house while he's there, like replacing a drawer pull or fixing a loose doorknob. You will not be disappointed!

We needed two faucets replaced and a more well known company had quoted us hundreds of dollars. I called The Plumbinator and they were at my house within an hour to give me an estimate (which was VERY reasonable) and the next day they finished the job in just a couple of hours. They were very nice, professional and on time (imagine that!). I would definitely recommend this company.

I called Mickey when my cat knocked a plastic hair trimmer piece down my toilet and stopped it up! He came right over on a Sunday and stayed there until he fixed it. He actually ended up charging me LESS than my estimate because it wasn't as extensive a fix as he had thought. Who does that??? I recommend The Plumbinator to anyone and everyone.
