We spent one Saturday night. Hotel was busy but everyone was pleasant and efficient. Check-in was immediate and there wasn't even a line for the free drinks during the ""manager's reception"" happy hour. The lobby is not impressive. Its modern architecture is beginning to look a bit dated, and because it's a round building, the spaces seem small. However, everything is clean and well maintained. The suites are large, clean and well furnished. They all open off of a central elevator column so that the bedrooms are far from any hotel noises and every room has an outside view. We looked over Logan Circle to Art Museum and it was beautiful. With an internet deal ($151 including all taxes) this is a good value for center city. Parking is an extra $24 + tax but they do allow unlimited in and out.

Pros: center city location, suites with kitchenet, nice views

Cons: expensive parking

This hotel was verydisappointing. I have stayed at many Embassy suites and have always been pleased. The hotel is very dated with old carpeting. They offer a free breaksfast but we had to wait over one hour to get in. It was completely understaffed.\nTables were barely being cleaned, they were out of silverware. Next day to get our car we waited an hour and half. There were at least 75 people waiting and some people had waited 2 hrs. Elevators took forever and we had to use the stairs or wait 30 min.

We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in downtown Philadelphia. The hotel is centrally located on the Parkway and easily accessable to everything. The hotel is all suites and the rooms are large and well laid out. They offer a free buffet breakfast every morning which is nice.

The things that could have been better are: the ladies room in the lobby was out of service the whole time we were there, they were short of maid service and our room was not made up until after 5 PM the one day we were there.

Otherwise, this is a very nice hotel and I would recommend it if you are staying in Philadelphia.

PROS: Nice layout
CONS: Ladies room out of service
