Our motto is Patience is the Essence of Fine Mexican Food. Our story is Lolita's Taco Shop was founded by Joaquin and Dolores Farfan in January of 1984 in Chula Vista, California. Together, the Farfan's have over 40 years of experience in the Mexican Food industry. Since 1984, Lolita's Taco Shop has been serving authentic Mexican food in the South Bay. We offer a variety of items which include: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc. Now, come see us at our newest location just outside of Petco Park in downtown San Dieog, CA. We take great pride in serving you quality fresh Mexican food!

IN SHORTWith four locations in San Diego and a fifth scheduled to open downtown near Petco Park, this taco shop has been a local's favorite for 25 years. Founders Joaquin and Dolores Farfan coined the restaurant's motto "patience is the essence o fine Mexican food" to reflect the fact that all orders are prepared fresh and take a little longer than typical fast food restaurants. Regulars rave about the carne asada fries, California burrito and chicken chimichangas, but the menu also includes several combo plates served with rice, beans, guacamole and tortillas.

Lolita's Mexican Restaurant is a good place to come and eat. The prices are reasonable. They have specials all week long.They tend to change by week. When I go to Lolita's I tend to get the special rolled tacos.

Lolita's is AWESOME. Their happy hour specials are always the best and has great value for the relatively inexpensive price compared to other local taco shops in the area. It is never too greasy or too dry, it is always just right.

Lolita's is the bomb digity! The burritos are hot just like the women working the registers! My personal favorite is the carne asada fries they stack them fries how I like my women!

the food is always fresh and prepared exactly how you like it. The meat is juicy and tender and the salsas make it the perfect meal!!!
Pros: best carne asada tacos!!!!
